Haven't been to BOA in years because of hectic life but always used to frequent this place for the fresh table side made Caesar salad and delicious steaks. Tonight was a little different due to COVID, no table side Caesar but it still tasted amazing. My wife and I also got a loaded baked potato, fresh grilled asparagus, a mushroom side, I got the marinated skirt steak, and we finished it with the fresh made BOA chocolate chip and macadamia cookies with ice cream. Needless to say we were not disappointed, the food was amazing, our booth was perfect and cozy even with all the Plexiglas walls and our servers were very friendly and on point, especially our second server Taylor who chatted with us about an hour after dessert while they were closing and even comped us the dessert. A+++ will return again and request Taylor again! Thanks for a great night BOA in these not so great times, we had an amazing evening

The Chilean Sea bass is excellent, nice atmosphere, very well staffed. Large selection of craft beer's, spirits and wine. Petite steaks with sides like caramelized onions and cauliflower goes really well with any dish. Be sure to order the Ceasars salad made fresh at your table.

Boa is a neighborhood spot for me and I go for the ambiance of the bar and outdoor scene. The food is good, not great.... its really all about the steaks. This night I had the halibut, it was bland and and too well done. The seabass, which was no longer on the menu unfortunately, is my favorite. The service is typical LA: barely dressed hostess, uninterested servers, great bussers, bartender w god complexes. Sit outdoors, enjoy a glass of Caymus, eat a good steak, don't expect more and you'll have a great night. It's why I keep going back (and because I can walk there!) . Great place for business dining.

Was really looking forward to the steak cause you know its a steakhouse, however my new york strip and my dads steak was extremely dry even after ordering a medium. The vibe of the restaurant was really good tho, and honestly my only highlight was the table side ceasar salad. I mean the other members of our parties got meals that were delicious however everyone who got steak said it was dry and overall nothing to special. Was expecting more, from a trendy popular STEAKhouse.

Absolutely amazing lunch experience. Everyone is extremely professional and kind and the food is out of this world. I had the Michael Bowl and the pork belly was the most tender. The atmosphere is elegant and refined without being stuffy. If you are in the area or looking for an awesome option for a work lunch, head to BOA!

I as expecting more but I can't quite put my finger on what was missing. The food was simple and delicious and it seemed like there was little wait for it. For a party of 5, appetizers and main courses were out efficiently. The wine list was great and the sommelier was helpful. The beef was good. But maybe there was too much expectation around the BOA buzz or we were a year or two too late, but something was missing from the environment. Maybe the swank was missing. Maybe there are too many new steakhouses opening in the area, but for some reason a great experience was a ... meh.

This has been one of my favorite steakhouses in LA for a number of years. They have the BEST ceasar salad in the city. Hard to get reservations on the weekends, I suggest trying it on a week night.

Overpriced as for this kitchen level. We got burned (literally black) steak, salmon with some not that pleasant aftertaste. Mind that all main course come with no side, you need to purchase it separately. Service was good.

Went to Boa this past weekend for a friends birthday. It was a great overall experience. The server was very friendly, attentive, and explained all the specials and everything. We started with drinks, then ordered a Caesar salad for everyone as well as the steak Tartar as an appetizer. The steak tartar was good, the bread extra crunchy-which is not my preference but everyone else at the table loved. The Caesar salad is prepared at the table with them explaining how they are making it. They also put on a little bit of a show where they toss the plates in the air before playing the salads. The main courses came. I ordered the lamb chops, which were pretty good but a little fatty for me. Everyone else ordered different steaks which I sampled and were all delicious. It is a steakhouse, and having tried the lamb, I would recommend sticking with the steak. We had a nice bottle of wine with dinner as well to celebrate. Finally for desert they brought out an ice cream with toasted meringue for my friends birthday. We each had a couple nibbles and it was delicious. Definitely recommend this place as a nice option for special events or date night.

Went to BOA on Sunset to celebrate a friend's birthday and it was fantastic. They are very strict with COVID-19 precautions from the minute you walk up to the door. The service was excellent, and the food was super yummy. My steak & prawns were cooked to perfect - this is a steakhouse so the sides are family style and good portions. The spinach, Brussels, cheese fries, & loaded potatoes were GOOD!! The lobster mac looked so good in the bowl, but it was flavorless - literally no season. It did however have a nice portion of lobster in it (silver linings). Our server was great though & swapped our lobster Mac for another side w/no hesitation. The wine selection & cocktails were plentiful. OH and the cheesecake...get the cheesecake!!! It was so fluffy OMG. Even if you're not a fan of cheesecake, get it and thank me later LOL. Anyway, great place, clean, vibey atmosphere, AMAZING Service, & bomb food. I'll def be back. Thanks BOA for an unforgettable evening!!

I ordered from this place via Caviar and the food was really delicious. We had the creamed spinach, cippolini onions with feta, and the petite filet mignon. The food must be even better if you eat at the restaurant in person. Planning a visit during my next trip to LA.

expensive trendy steakhouse right along the beach on ocean bl. food is good, people are pretty and well-dressed, but it is loud. if you're looking for a quiet comfy place to chat with family or good friends, this is not the place. unless you like shouting or sitting on the outside patio, which was quite cold in dec. food is good, but doesn't warrant a frequent return for the price and ambiance.

Easy Valet parking in front of the restaurant. Great place to come for steaks. You are given the choice between sauces or rubs. They serve Tomahawks here so meat lovers should pay a visit. Waiter was attentive and answered even miscellaneous questions. Will come again.

This is a place I'd always wanted to go in Los Angeles I'm glad I wouldn't but I really wasn't that impressed the service was great the drinks were pretty good cut steak was okay nothing was really worth the price in my opinion and I've been to a lot of good expensive restaurants all over the state the California all over the United States and I'm very well-traveled seriously

...... A friend and I went out here tonight and had a near--perfect filet and Lobster here at Boa. Our waitress was super friendly with me, and made sure everything was to our exact specifications. They sure did a beautiful job of cooking my filet mignon perfectly! Not too rae, but a sumptuous medium rare. Some of the other customers were very outgoing with us as well, as some of the ladies told me that I'm very funny, and fun. Always appreciated! And the lobster was very good as well. Thanks Boa!

One of the great restaurants. Food and Service is of great quality. Sommelier is top notch. he knows his wines from all over the world and was easily able to help me find Australian equivalents from the USA. Atmosphere and ambience is really nice. overall a brilliant Restaurant.

Great food especially the Chilean sea bass was there for uncles 50th and glad I did because everything was paid for I'd have to save for these high priced items, however this high-class restaurant is superb.

It's a beautiful restaurant. The wait staff is solicitous. But my steak wasn't cooked to my specifications and I had to send it back. Which I think is unacceptable at a steakhouse. I didn't care for the deserts ("snickers bar" and lemon tart) They were tiny and too frou frou. I wanted something cakey and satisfying. I probably won't return to this restaurant.

One of the best restaurants I have ever been to! the food, the atmosphere, the vibe, the drinks, the presentation, I can keep going and going this was one of the best experiences at a restaurant I've ever had, including how the food tasted and came out. The Caesar salad itself for a salad was amazing from real anchovies to the real dressing not many places like this. ANY foodie anybody who likes to eat anybody who likes Meat but they also have a vegan section.I definitely definitely recommend to check this place out. Two thumbs up, amazing.

While we were at a private event, the food and service were wonderful. I've also been for public dinners and it was the same. BOA is very hospitable and the servers, bartenders, and mgmt are as well. Love sitting on the patio! Thanks!

I'm visiting my friends in LA now, and this is their favorite place. I've visited many steak houses in the US, but this one is one of the best. I highly recommend everyone who will be near to stop by and eat delicious steak.
