Bluewater Yacht Sales, LC Review

The Bluewater service department is great! The issue I had was with Mark Connors in the sales department. He had our boat for 3 years and did not even attempt to sell it. He claimed that he had a buyer multiple times but they would always mysteriously fall through. We decided to take the boat elsewhere and he threatened to hit us with a lawsuit. I m not sure how the rest of the Bluewater sales department handle their business, but I would steer clear of Mark.

The purchasing process first week of May began smoothly. Upon delivery, custom parts were damaged beyond repair. We have been left with almost no contact from Bluewater. Today is July 3, we have nothing replaced, and cannot use the boat the way it was intended or sold to us. The value is halved for our use and resale. When asking to speak with a manager, we are told basically, no. That is a real concern for any buyer. Especially for that reason, absolutely cannot recommend.

As an update, after reaching management, I can say they are working to resolve this situation without regard to their own inconvenience and cost. They have been communicating with us consistently, and we feel confident this situation will be resolved.

Visited twice to buy a used boat. Salesman Mark never responded to emails or returned calls. Only when I walked in the office did someone get him to see me. I know it was a used boat I was trying to buy and not a million dollar sport fish, but at least work with me. Looking at a Whaler and he came up with all these different numbers that he thought the buyer would accept but I suspected he really didn't know what seller needed to close the deal. Called 4 times after last visit and no return calls. Oh well, taking my $30k somewhere else.

Blue water is a great marina. Clean facility, great food and friendly as can be.

We went to look at a particular boat they have for sale and we were very pleasantly surprised at the nice facility and the outstanding inventory of boats for sale. Above all, we were very impressed with Hank Sibley, our sales rep. Great experience for us!
