I was checking into classes. They quoted a "discount" price that was higher than their normal rate.

Having seen a previous comment I was compelled to write. Because one disgruntled person can ruin the reputation of a company by an unverifiable assertion.
If you ever meet Nimesh, he quickly comes across as a nice genuine and a kind person. I somehow don't by the characterization of this person who claims he got defrauded for $200. I have worked with Nimesh on & off. Because I am a contract trainer. I have conducted classes in his facility. He runs a professional well rated facility compared with other IT Training facilities around the US that I have taught at.
Having dealt with variety of people who take computer classes I can only assume what may have happened. At the very least IT infrastructure classes are $1500 or $2K at a minimum. Only way you wouldn't get your money back is sign up for a class and at the last minute cancel and ask for you money back.
These schools have to pay free lance trainers like me. We come from far. We have to fly in and stay in hotels and rent cars, when we sign up for a class. Once you commit to a class no going back on either end. Not the Student or the School or the instructor. Schools have to hire instructors in advance once enough students sign up. This is a low margin business. Instructors have to make hotel and airline bookings in advance. Kayak or Priceline dosn't refund money after you book. Students should understand that.
This is not your grocery store or department store where you get to go back and return the goods and ask for your money back.
I received funding from the EDD & Blue Star has been extremely helpful in building my foundation with invaluable training, to start my new career in the I.T field i would greatly recommend this program for those who would like to get certified & equipped properly with valuable training & Accredited Certifications to land a Entry Level I.T Careers. San Diego is home to a number of Technology companies in a growing field with rapid advanced 36K+ yr for entry level Jobs.
It's a grate pales to get the new IT certificate...
