The team at Blue Ridge are professional and caring. I have worked with different team members for many years and have successfully collaborated with each person in the transition of patients returning to home.
If you ever need to call the phone will just ring and ring. No one ever answers or even a machine to leave a message. Then you are disconnected. Really bad way to do business!!!!!!!!
Very caring staff, especially the nursing and therapy teams. Staff is attentive and go out of their way to solve any problems you may have.
My Father was here, when it was under the original name - Lakewood Manor. Many friends and family members have stayed here since then.
It hasn t changed from 30 years ago........no compassion or care from 90% of the staff, negligent medical care, lacking in nutritional foods, and NOTHING like the description you see written or when you go on a preplanned tour. Things are quite different when your loved on is there.
Consider somewhere else if your loved one has to leave your care.

My Mother died as a result of neglect in this facility. If you place you loved ones here make sure that you keep eyes on your family member. I do not recommend this facility to anybody.
My work as a care manager requires me to place clients in facilities for their own safety and well being and also for their families peace of mind. Families sometimes have a hard time choosing Blue Ridge because it is an old building, but it is clean and odor free. The staff provides compassionate care and they keep me well informed of any changes. The memory unit is wonderful. Staff is attentive and engaged with residents and provide appropriate activities. I use the memory unit for the majority of my dementia clients, and I have always been pleased with their care.
I have lived in this facility for years and they are great! The staff here are amazing and I appreciate all that they have done for me and continue to do for me!
The staff is caring and working hard to do their best for their residents in these convoluted times. It s not easy to function in normal life during a pandemic and facility life during a pandemic is exceptionally difficult. Kudos to all of them

Awesome place to admit a family member to for skilled or long term care. The staff are caring, competent and compassionate. I appreciate all of their efforts in ensuring that my family member's needs were met. Good communication from the facility department managers
BRHR is a Rehabilitation Center where we treat people of all walks of life. There are short time Residents who rehabilitate quickly with the extraordinary Therapy Team we have, and there are long term Residents who are also treated by Therapy to maintain optimal function. Nursing Team is very caring and I am one of the Nurse Practitioners who serve this Facility. It is an older building, but a clean building. I would send someone I loved dearly to this facility for care.
Such a beautiful community with friendly, knowledgeable staff. My loved one is very happy in Blue Ridge's care. The staff are very caring and see to her needs daily. I made the right decision when choosing Blue Ridge Health and Rehab center! I highly recommend this community!
I enjoy the staff here, they are respectful and fun to be around! The facility is also very clean and I enjoy all that they have done for me. I love this place like a rock, hard!
I really like working with the staff at Blue Ridge Health and Rehab as a consultant. They really care about their residents and work daily to improve the resident experience. The food is very good and prepared with the resident in mind.
