Half spring pie half pepperoni. Amazing!!! Loved the Moscow mule. My husband really enjoyed his hot Italian sandwich. I had a bite and definitely yummy! The fries that came with it were the best I've had in a long time. The staff were great. I did not enjoy the mocha drink and they changed it out no problem and with a smile.
The service is horrible! Avoid this place if you want to have a peaceful dinner. You will wait forever to place your order and even more to get the check. Worst experience in town.

Great place to stop and have a slice while roaming around Vail. The staff was accommodating to our large (18) group and got us setup and in and out efficiently. The jalapeno popper pizza was really good.

Some of the best pizza I've had. Maybe it was the long day of skiing that made it better, but it really hit the spot. We ordered 3 pies and they all came out relatively quickly.
Recently updated decor. Still has the Great Food that brings us back every year at this time.
We had to park in a parking garage and use our phones GPS to find this place. We ordered 2 slices, it took 30 minutes and we didn't even get the right slices. We had 30 minute parking so we rushed back to our vehicles without checking them, my bad. Even if I got the wrong slice of pizza, I'm sure no one would want an entire slice with a pile of jalapenos, almost inedible. Otherwise, the bartender was very polite and made sure we had drinks while we waited.
Excellent service, I highly recommend their meatball pizza.
Austin was rude from the second we walked in. We were a party of 9 with kids. The restaurant was empty. Austin told us, very rudely, there would be a 45 minute wait. We said ok and sat down. Then we asked if one of the dads in our party could please use the restroom. He sent us to the public restrooms around the corner. He told us we could not use the restaurant s restrooms until we were seated. We left and decided to write this review. He clearly didn t want us to eat there and was very happy when we left. We left and went to Moe s barbecue just a few feet away where we had a wonderful meal.
Waiter was HORRIBLY RUDE. Seemed like we were really putting him out being there.

Took forever to get a seat and there are no reservations, we had only three people to feed. We waited for an hour and then it took an hour to get our food, we never had any refills on our drinks and the guy serving us never gave us silver ware to eat with until we had to ask. I was very annoyed with this experience
Great pizza and fun atmosphere. Enjoyed dinner so much that the next day we HAD to take advantage of the $5 lunch special. Got a large slice and soda for such a low price in general, much less Vail. Definitely recommend!

The food is always good. This complaint is about management or ownership. Over 20 minutes on waters and didn t see our server for 30 minutes after that. I know staffing in vail can be difficult, but you should then limit how many tables are sat. I second the statement that children are running the restaurant. Not a good look. Be better.
Food was great. My server was great, there though was I guess he was a manager that wasn't at all great. He could use some people skills. Other than that sour-puss, it was a great experience.
I ordered a pepperoni with extra cheese and it was so good! I recommend Blue Moose to any and everyone. Both locations are good. Check out either Vail or Beaver Creek!!!!
Wish I could give zero stars! Two of my sons and myself have celiac disease, which means we are not able to eat gluten. This restaurant kindly serves gluten free pizza crust. The problem is I ordered a Caesar salad with no croutons. I received my crouton free salad but it was EXTREMELY obvious that croutons had been on salad and someone had picked them off leaving croutons crumbs all over the salad. Who picks croutons off the salad? It s pretty disgusting and not to mention the service absolutely sucked. Terrible restaurant.
A great location in Lionshead, they offer a wide selection of pizzas that are unique to them. All of them have fresh ingredients. Be sure to try The Vintage. It is outstanding. I would also suggest the Cheese Garlic Bread as a starter.
They have a good selection of beers and beer flights as well as cocktails.
The staff is friendly and helpful at this location.
What a great surprise! A couple weeks ago, we stopped in for lunch and completely expected bland, resort fast-food pizza. We were delighted by the hand made, delicious pizza that was brought out. The crust was thin and light, the sauce perfect and the meatballs and peppers topped it off beautifully. We loved it and can't wait to return.
Great food but more often than not the service is poor. I had family visiting me and I took them to Blue Moose for some good food. Our server took our order, brought us silverware and then five minutes later came back and asked us if we wanted the check...We hadnt even gotten our food! He then proceeded to be extremely rude to the family behind us and made the entire dining experience very uncomfortable. I'll stick to to go orders.
I would not give this place one star. Too busy to even be polite to customers. Sat our party to a table and continued to ignore us while taking to go orders instead. Cursed us out, as we called them out on this behavior.
The mac and cheese was outstanding. The servers were friendly. Although, it took a while tog et a table but that was mainly because we had a party of 10. The pizza and salad was also amazing!
Centered in the heart of lionshead village, convenient if in the area. Family and group friendly. Wounderful and helpful staff. Big menu but falls short in the flavor department. Excellent beer and cocktail choices, worth while if you can't decide where to go.
Great selection of pizzas and beers at Blue Moose Pizza. Location is perfect right in the heart of Lionshead, and the parking in the nearby structure is free after 3 PM. We had an excellent dinner there and a great time overall.

2 stars for the yummy pizza only. This restaurant needs a renovation asap, it looked dated and dirty, dishes were chipped and there was a ladder forgotten right next to our table (?). The service was slow and inattentive. Unless they receive a face-lift and improve their services, not worth going back.
Amazing pizza. Huge and tasty! Great atmosphere overlooking the ice rink. I saw some reviews that mentioned the staff can be rude. That wasn't our experience at all. Everyone was very friendly. Our server Wade was super polite and patient when my daughter spilled her drink all over the table. Great experience. Love this place and will definitely be back.
place is in the heart of vail ski resort, so naturally kind of a tourist trap. pizza was decent, though quite pricey. staff was a bunch of super friendly younger people. worth giving a try if your in vail.

Good pizza and cocktail options. Right in the center of the plaza. Service was fast and waiters were friendly. They give you a set of crayons to draw while you are waiting for your food. Fun!
We were refused service at this restaurant due to my husband's disability and his service dog. The host/manager reluctantly sat us after I asked for a booth. He said "no" and walked away. I guess we were supposed to follow him to a back table too small for us and the service dog. I told him we would wait for a booth (there were 3 available) and he said "you can wait all night." I then asked him if he treated everyone like this and he said "only your kind" and told us to leave. I asked for the manager and he said he was the manager. My husband became very angry after this man was treating me like this, and the manager got in my husband's face, literally nose to nose, and told him to "do something about it." We have never been discriminated against for my husband's disability until now. It was unbelievable. We are looking into what legal action can be taken so that other people with disabilities do not experience this as well.

Good pizza, reasonably priced and a great location right in the heart of Lionshead Village. However, it does take a long time for the food to come out, so consider ordering a salad or something for the wait. Also very fun for the kids to color on the butcher paper covering the tables.
Horrible pizza. The dough still uncooked. They were rushing our order out of kitchen as it was late right before their close. Horrible experience. Waste of money and appetite.

Excellent food and service. We shared a 15" pizza 3 ways and had plenty. Pizza is New York style and although it isn't New York here it is very good. The calzone is highly recommended also. Prices seem reasonable for a tourist area.
We love blue moose in beaver creek, but the location in Lionshead needs some help with costumer service!
The pizza was delicious! The menu is very limited because of coded so it's Pizza only. And what's Pizza without beer? Fortunately there was beer to be had or cocktails or wine. The service was not good. Pizza kind of made up for it but not really!

Holy cow was this bad. The server was horrendous!! The food was absolutely horrible! The crust is so soggy and it took 15 min to just bring us a slice of cheese pizza for my 1 year old.... that they had just brought one out for my 3 year old. There is NO WAY they didn't have 1 more slice of cheese back there for a child! Never got refills and took FOREVER for everything freaking thing!!
We had lunch today, during their "soft opening" after recent remodel. Waited an hour for our food after order was placed. It shouldn't take an hour for pizza! 2 of the pizza slices were not made according to our order, and were cold when served. The salad and garlic bread was good. They were obviously not staffed adequately in the kitchen. Definitely need to step up their food prep, and accuracy with orders. Also they were out of eggplant parmesan, which was disappointing. The server was good and apologetic for the problems, but very unacceptable. Hope they get the problems corrected soon. This used to be a great place for pizza in Lionshead, right now I wouldn't recommend it.

There were olives on Spring pizza. After 1 hour 10 minutes one person still hasn't received her slice of pizza. Pasta Alfredo had chicken on it. Don't not recommend! Sorry guys...

Great service, and really good pizza. We come here every year when we ski vail. However, beware, like everything in the valley, it's expensive.
Bad welcome, slow waiter, sad decor, in short: depressing. You remove the location in Lionshead and that restaurant barely compares with any other restaurant lost on the side of a road in Tennessee.
Came back to the valley for the first time in a few years and was happy to visit Blue Moose again. We ordered dinner for my parents and their friends and we were all so happy. Our order included the Greek and Italian salads as well as the Winter Pizza and Flying Pig Pizza. Delicious and a fantastic meal to end an already fabulous vacation. We will be back to try the other menu items the next time we visit.
Food was solid, staff was solid. Only thing is, I was getting rocked by Cheerios being tossed by hopefully a child in a balcony above me. His stealth was second to none considering I search for the culprit throughout my entire meal but could never spot him. Overall, this place rocks and I would recommend it.

Just stopped in for a quick drink after a day of skiing before dinner. Sky was our waiter and he was awesome, fast and was super personable. We can't wait to come back for pizza.
