While the performance was good family fun for those of us that purchased tickets in the "splash zone" dawning ponchos for 1.5 hours it was disappointing. Of the 200 guests in the 1st six rows we all departed cleaner than when we arrived looking very smart (not) with our ponchos.
Easy great 5 minute add: "silly bit" drum paint splash - bring it HOME !!!
Had such a great time! The show was amazing. Only thing I would have changed is we bought seats in the front and it wasn't worth the extra money cause the room is quite small and the Blue Men perform through out the whole stage and seating area. They interact with the public a lot during there shows. I also wish you could take pictures and videos of the performance.
Tons of fun! Definitely sit in the center areas or front of balcony (probably) for best views. Was at back side in section F, and couldn't see part of the show. Still had a lot of fun! Didn't miss too much, but there were things happening higher on the stage that weren't visible.
I really enjoyed the blue man group. It is funny. It is really geared towards kids (ages 5-17) but adults will also enjoy the Blue Man Group. I know I did. (Being I am in the age range of a "kid")
Had a great time. Edgy and fun. Dress casual or dress up it's all good.

What an amazing show! Every person in the audience is involved in some way. Splash zone is JUST that. I didn't stop laugh and smiling the entire time!
I took my 8 year old twins today and they loved the show! The children laughed out loud which is a joy in itself. The audience interaction made them feel part of the show and the small theatre environment is perfect for that. If you like light hearted entertainment, music and colorful displays then a fun time will be had. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful from providing booster seats, to asking the children their favorite parts of the show at the end, each person we came across seemed to care that we had good experience. I liked that the blue men came out for photographs at the end to leave the children with a lasting image of them there. My experience was for the children and they loved it!
If you took the money you were going to spend on the show, put it in a bucket and lit it on fire, it would still be more entertaining than Blue Man Group.
No wonder there s no intermission. NOBODY would go back in. Awful. Just awful.
The show it self was good. But the last time I saw the Blueman group was several years back in Las Vegas. That show was epic in scale and excitement. This one - the venue is rather small and felt like a cheaper, lower budget effort.
Wonderful experience. Nice to get a chance for pictures in the lounge after the show.
In our 30s looking for a fun date night. Completely not what we expected. They spent maybe 10 minutes on the drums which we thought had paint flying around but realized it was water. It was neat if it would have been free but for $50 a person is absolutely outrageous. Don t waste your money y all! Would recommend if you had kids and nothing to do...
This show was beyond AMAZING! I didn't know what to expect with all the mixed reviews. I surprised my family with an early Christmas gift.The Charles playhouse staff was great, the venue is small so every seat was great. The blue men came out to the audience several times so everyone was included. These men are so talented and great at what they do. Definitely recommend this for any and everyone looking for a great time with family and friends. The meet and greet after the show was awesome they stayed in character the entire time, they were just as funny off stage as they were on stage. I would rate this show more than 5 stars if I could. We will most definitely be going back again and again. Thank you for the one of the best Christmas presents ever!

Fantastic show. Very interactive, funny and kid friendly. Without saying much, the show is a must see, you won't be disappointed.
Wish I seen it 20 years ago, I'm sure back then it was really cool and all that, but in today's hi tech world it is very very dated. Good show for elementary school age kids and with parents. But honestly, I have seen better 3-D IMAX movies for $15 and great concerts (PINK, TSO, Dave Mathews, etc.) for the close to $100 per seat I pay for this show. It lasted about 80 minutes which was about 60 more than I cared to watch. Even my wife who loves everything said it was not very good. Oh well at least I can say I saw it now and check it off my list.
By the way, I count 30 total stars divided between 10 reviews, that equals 3.0 where I when to school, not sure how Google has a 3.6 rating.
Fabulously family fun!! My boys are 7 and 10 and they were laughing so hard, it made my heart so happy. The show is the right length, no intermission, and I love that they have earlier shows on the weekend. It's pricey, but I think it's worth it. Good memory of Boston. For those with younger kids, maybe check out a YouTube video ahead of time...the band wears glow in the dark skeleton outfits, which aren't really that scary, but could bother younger kids. My whole family loved the BMG!!!
Fun show. Hadn t seen it in almost 10 years. A little disappointing to see it really hasn t changed much. I remember the place being sold out every time I saw the show years and years ago. It was a sparse room last night. Barely anyone sitting on the outside sections. Hopefully they make some changes to the show, improve it, re-advertise it and start filling that place with a new and improved show. Overall though, we still had a great night and wouldn t deter anyone from going to see it. Just don t expect much different than a dozen years ago.
A great show to bring kids to and the music is a constant psychelic groove, complimenting the nonverbal language of the Blue Man.
It is a very nice experience and it have a few snack to maintain ur self and a plasic clear suit incase if paint gets on u witch is very use and a very nice place

This show was awesome. My wife and I enjoyed it, and our kids thought it was hilarious in places and just amazing in others. One word of caution - the show is very loud in certain parts, and there are some crazy strobe lights, so take that into account if anyone in your group is sensitive to either of those.

Although its borderline unaffordable for a family of 4 to take part in, it was worth the expense. Very silly and entertaining from the moment you walk through the door. We head into the lounge for 2 sodas and 2 cocktails, which you are allowed to take into the theater. There is interactive things to do while you wait for seating to start. Once seated there is funny games, and ponchos being passed out with steamers to make headbands etc. And when the show starts all ages are engaged. Being from Boston I had went to the show in the early 2000s when it was new. It was completely different but equally as amazing as it originally was about 20 years prior. My 2 children ages 10 and 12 loved it....and so did my husband and I! Had high expectations because my husband had watched an international version of the show and had claimed it was the best show he'd ever seen (and he's REALLY picky). However, this was a watered down, smaller version which didn't correspond to that description. Also, don't get the corner seats up top. You are not part of the fun for some of the activities, and you will have pretty bad visibility, even when straining your neck.
Neat show, but I guess it doesn't change much since it was almost the exact same show I saw when I last went about 5 years ago.

Okay first the positive, this was a fun show for the whole family. I had been to see blue man about 20 years ago, good changes to the show. I brought my daughters, 19 and 14, and they were absolutely blown away by the show. I've seen some post where people have complained about adult-themed entertainment in the show... I do not know what they're talking about. Now, the one negative, the show is advertised as an hour and 40 minutes long. The show started about 10 minutes late and ended about 10 minutes from when it should have ended if if it started on time. Guys, these tickets are expensive enough without cutting time off the show. Having said that I would definitely go again in the future.
This was the third time seeing this show and it is still so much fun every time. Great for the whole family with music and humor. Highly recommended.

A simply phenomenal show. I've been hearing great things about it since over a decade ago, and finally decided to go this month. I can only say that I should have done it much earlier!
Excitement turned quickly. This production is highly over-rated for the money.. Both my date and I waited for that Wow moment, which never came.
Unbelievable New Years Day show! Took our 4 kids (3 daughters home from college + our 14 year old son) what a show! Bought tickets 2 hours ahead for the discount. Well worth the price. What a blast!
As friends had told us, the Blue Man show is an okay experience. They perform okay and entertain okay - but nothimng breathtaking or extraordinary. Not worth time and effort in my opinion!
It's been over a decade since I went and I still remember dancing and shredding toilet paper. Wicked awesome. My son just went to a matinee with friends. Afterwards, we walked and hung around on the Common. Easily accessible by Green Line or Orange Line, slightly longer walk from Red Line. Totally worth a fling.
Great show, start to finish. Appropriate for anyone, any age, any culture, etc.
A lot of fun! Was in the "splatter zone", but got no splatter at all, which was disappointing. I feel like we paid for a more interactive experience. But fun overall!
Great experience! So glad our family got to do this during our stay in Boston. Kids loved it and several audience members (myself included) got to participate in the show. Charles Playhouse was a little tricky to find, so I recommend giving yourself a little extra time if you're not familiar with the area. Lots of great restaurants and historic sites nearby.
A show for kids, not adults. Barely any percussion which used to be the good part. What a waste of paper, painting and food !

Amazing experience. Haven't seen anything like this before. The people performing this show are very highly skilled. Make sure you get best place to sit or else your vision might blocked by someone else in front of you.

Blue Man Group is a must for anyone that has not seen it. I have seen the show three times, most recently last Friday. The show has changed since the last time and I do think they still do an excellent job and you will definitely be entertained. The prices are a bit high now, it seems like the ticket price as doubled? Small theater, so there really is not a bad seat in the house. Check it out, DON'T BE LATE!
We've seen Blue Man Group in Boston and Orlando. Its always fun show and my family has a great time
This was an amazing show. I have always wanted to attend a Blue Man Group performance. The show was a spectacle of sound, lights and on stage visuals.
However I know someone that worked there previously and I was given front row seats.
While there is no debating the proximity to the stage was excellent, this show utilizes many props and materials it will find their way on to the audience. I left that show covered in banana puree, cereal bits and other things I really couldn't identify.
Once was enough for me.
If you have not seen the show, by all means please go. Just be prepared if you sit really close to the stage. I would recommend middle to back of the house if you don't want to get covered by various things during the show.
I've seen this four times. I miss White Rabbit from first experience. That was mind blowing. But still way worth seeing.
Brought my 12 year old son and he loved it! We grabbed some candy and a Shirley temple before the show and the bartender game him a little dino figurine. He was thrilled before the show even began, then he got to experience all the fun, lights and music. He thought the blue men were hilarious and especially loved the marshmallow catching. After the show he was so happy he could meet the performers. Perfect night out together!
Years before was better but it's still a good show.
