Worst customer service ever! My teenage son lost his keys while attending a concert there last weekend. The next day, they wouldn't let any of us in to look for them without paying the $40 entrance fee. Even when I, as a parent went, they still wouldn't let us look without paying. They didn't get my $40 and will never get a dime from me again.

The slides are really impressive even as an adult. There is a really good mix for everyone. The individual slides have good variation and feel like unique experiences worth repeating. The group slides were surprisingly the most fun and are genuinely thrilling as you all go down together, often in the dark, with the entire group yelling and screaming. The kid play areas serve as a nice resting place between sliding. Adults will need the rest after endless stair climbing! The lazy river and wave pool were great, too. The one negative was the food. We got a 12 inch family pizza and I was expecting something in the Chucky Cheese quality range or at least a serviceable gas station pizza level. Not at all. It was barely edible. A tombstone frozen pizza is easily 10x better. This was more like a Totino's dollar pizza. Stay away from the pizza and you'll have a great time.

I m 15 years old and just started working here, and I m here to say THIS IS THE WORST JOB EVER. On my first day I m was expected to stand In one spot for 5 hours without sitting. I m only given one 30 minute break which I have to spend in the rat infested break room. My feet were hurting so bad and when I finally decided to rest my head on a table I was sent home early (All on the first day). If I had a choice I would not be working here, but not many places hire at 15, so I m stuck. The $6 a hour they pay us is not worth it . Everyone calls the staff rude and miserable, and honestly I can see why. The owners does not care for our health or wellbeing.

I typically take my family to Orlando area theme parks so I was excited to see what a smaller theme park would be like. I will NEVER be back. Just because you're small doesn't mean you have to be unorganized, unsafe and dirty. First off, the workers are rude and if you ask them a question they look annoyed that you're there, probably because they can't answer even the simplest of questions. Second, the rides look and sound like they are going to break any minute. The Ferris wheel was terrifying because it kept getting stuck and all of the bolts were rusted. A lot of the kiddie rides don't have people running them so you just stand there waiting for nothing. They don't have easy access to water or any drinks but won't let you bring them in from outside the park. You have to wait in a long line to buy food tickets to then wait in line for food or drinks... Takes about 45 to 1.5 hours to get just a drink! They charge 5 bucks to park in a field of mud that smells like manure. You then get to walk through it for a half mile to get in the park. Basically this place is not safe and needs new management. It has potential to be great if they took a little money and effort in to upkeep, training employees and streamlining processes.

Blue Bayou is a decent waterpark. The selection of rides is more vast than those offered at Liberty Lagoon, but overall, Liberty Lagoon has a fresher feel. The facilities are cleaner than Blue Bayou's, and the staff is friendlier. Also, the admission price is significantly cheaper. While Blue Bayou is an okay park, I'd prefer to spend my time and money at Liberty Lagoon.

The park is overall a fun, family friendly place. A few things I noticed: the lifeguards LOVE their whistles but most do not seem to love their job and although the park may not be overcrowded, the slides do not run at full capacity so there are still long wait times which can be frustrating when waiting with children. Be sure to get your ticketed validated before leaving if you want to return a second day (within the next week) for free.

Not very child friendly prices...I had to pay 34.95 for a three year old because of his height and full price for a 7 year old because of her height. They checked the height of my 1 year old and it was good he was under the height or else I would have been paying $34.95 for him and he didn't ride a thing. Oh and there is a fee for parking...it is not complimentary!!!

The rides were great..and they had a very good selection of rides for the kids too!!!!

Came last week after not being here in years and also went again to give them a 2 try and since we got the free pass for a week thing ,customer service must say pretty awful. The workers looked so miserable and some were quite rude both times. I watched some guy and his kid go on the tube but the tube got stuck and the employee didn't do anything about it or help push the tube down the slide the man eventually was able to push his tube down himself. The food there was ok but once again the people attending the food shack looked miserable and were slightly rude. They have cats locked up in the heat that look miserable and I say they are probably better off being stray then cooped up like that apparently they have a monkey too didn't see it but saw the poor cats and also parrots all in the heat In cages why I have no clue but that's cruel to do that to these animals. It upset me a lot. The rides while they were fun one ride the black snake one looked run down its all rusted it shakes a lot and I noticed a blot missing and decided I wasn't going to go on it again also it creaks a lot they really need to just tear that one down and rebuild it or something new. Some height signs for kids were knocked down and they weren't even checking them which is dangerous. Its like the employees just didn't even care. I did have two good experience with two girl employees there they were super nice the rest not so much. Will I go back most likely not. I will travel the distance for another park rather then go to this one again.

Look I hope the owners of the park read this because this is ridiculous. I'm here at the park for the Panic! At the Disco concert. It is really hot and people have been lined up for hours and that is all fine and dandy but when you put on the website that gates open at 6:30 people will start to crowd around 6. You should not just leave us to crowd around and wonder why the gates aren't open you should at least make an announcement explaining why. People start to get rowdy and aggressive. People have been passing out and having panic attacks in the crowd because of the heat. Don't ignore the problem fix it.

We rode 2 rides and it closed because of rain/thunder, so we went to get free day pass but they said we couldn't get another day for Saturday because it was their "busy day" and we also had to pay the full amount of money if we wanted to go Sunday because we paid with coke cans. That is a terrible rule for blue bayou because we paid the full amount just with an assist with some coke cans The life gaurds were really helpful and knew what to do when this man was cut on his foot.

Lots to do and clean, good value - rude staff. They need better training. I had no issues at the park whatsoever. But the kids working almost all had a bad attitude. I saw one rude to my 10yo son when he asked for directions to a slide. There were two outstanding kids that seemed like they enjoyed being there. The rest were rude and watching the clock. Not the kids

I do not support any organisation that abuses animals. Blue Bayou/Dixie Landin keeps a solitary chimpanzee in a cage (she has been in confinement for 50 years I believe), allowing her to drink coke and smoke cigarettes. Chimps are social animals just like us, needing companionship and stimulation everyday. I can't believe this kind of thing still happens in America. Send her to a sanctuary and redeem yourselves!

Pretty great water park. Adorable and family friendly. Something for everyone of all ages. Food is decently priced and decent for park fare. Just wished they didn't close so early. Maybe staying open until close to sundown eould be nice. So be prepared...they close at 6.
Positives: Military and Law Enforcement discounts available (50% off) & get your receipt stamped to return another day for free.

Kids loved it, but not very pleasant for parents of middle-older kids who want to run around by themselves. I tried enjoying sone shade beneath a cypress tree on some lovely grass and was told by a lifeguard with a rather nasty attitude that the grass is off limits. Concrete and plastic furniture only for waiting parents. Parents have to pay full price whether they slide or not. For the high cost of admission, it would have been nice to have something to do--a lap pool for example, or some grass to sit and relax on without getting attitude from young men with power complexes. I should qualify that most of the lifeguards were nice, and the Pirate's Cove play area is great for whole-family fun.

My 10yr old granddaughter and I had a great time. While the water felt great, the ride areas had lots of shade and benches for resting between rides. Overall, price can't be beat. Fun in the sun.

I thought Blue Bayou and Dixie Landin' was really fun. But the big black snake water slide was actually SHAKING and it felt like it was going to fall at any second so I ended up not riding it.

While trying too get into the waterpark they did the annual bag search. They found my daughters arm floats that she can NOT swim without. They would not let us bring them in for nothing. They then cocked the biggest attitude with us after we had asked once more for personal reasons of her not being able too wear their life vests they provide. Once in the waterpark, you can not walk without knocking into one another, let alone find a place to sit. The children's area looks supervised, but actually is not. Just a lifeguard sitting his rear on the wall while others trampled my child. Out of the 25 rides they have, 8 hours of being there, we only got too ride 5 rides with the wait capacity in the lines. People had no respect there ESPECIALLY the staff members! Over priced food for the taste of cardboard, all in all, this place was a waste of $285.

If I could only give zero stars for this review. I will not ever in my life go to this park again. I went for a panic at the disco concert there last weekend and at every moment I felt the health and safety of my family in jeopardy.First off, the giant mass of people moving into this tiny park through a SINGLE rickety entrance bridge was absolutely absurd. The park was incredibly packed. It felt like it was way over capacity. You are not allowed to bring drinks in, which I would not normally care about. But the line just to get some water took an hour and a half IF you got some water. They ran out of drinks pretty early on. It was like there was no security or police anywhere. There were people smoking everywhere without a care of getting caught. People passing out. Also, this whole park is ran by children, 15-16 at the most. I cannot even put the whole experience into words. I think this is my first review after having this account for years. Sickening experience. The show was great though A+

First water park I went to where you had to stand in line for the lazy river and only ride around once! This place is a rip off to be honest and all they are doing is trying to take your money. Water was filthy as could be! Lines are extremely long I probably could have went to Disney and rode more rides there than I did at blue bayou. The prices are beyond outrageous for what you get.
