I have now been seeing April for 6 months and I could not be happier with my hair. From the way she colors it to the cut and style, I feel like a whole new person when I walk out. Shop is absolutely adorable, an has that natural warm welcome feeling.

I LOVE this place!! I commute from Layton to get my hair done here. After having an identity crisis about my hair, I was referred to April (owner of Bloom) by a friend to help fix my hair. She responded quickly and got me in ASAP. She gave me what I envisioned and ever since then, she s done pure magic. She s done my wedding hair, and given me some fresh AF cuts. I love the environment she s created and all the employees here are very nice to be around. I love Bloom!!!

I was so excited a new salon was going to be in my area, I drove past on my way to Harmon s and then noticed the UrHairSucks sign in bright neon....instantly put me off, now I never plan on coming in, it is blatantly unprofessional and unwelcoming, even as a previous cosmetology student I still can t wrap my mind around why anyone thought it was a good idea.

Wow! I am really blown away by BLOOM Salon. I called the night before, looking for a LAST minute hair color. Right before a major holiday (Thanksgiving) too. So pretty much- I was asking for a lot. But they were able to fit me into their schedule.
My hair stylist had a family emergency and couldn t make it in. Instead of turning me away or rebooking for another time. The owner (April) worked me in between her clients! You can tell she has done hair for a long time. Because their wasn t ANY wait time or anything working between two clients.
Everyone was very precessional and friendly. I was greeted immediately when I walked it. I had some pleasant conversations with some of the stylist.
This wasn t a salon were they just want your money. They generally care about you. I don t have money for high end beauty product, but they left me with some free oil for my hair. They really care!
Not only did Bloom get my hair EXACTLY how I wanted it, but has left a lasting impression on me. I won t hesitate to go anywhere else. Because I know I won t get better service anywhere else. Thank you so much Bloom for taking care of me. You gain a forever customer.

I had very bad experiences when it comes to cutting or getting it dyed by multiple people but I am beyond happy with April and the work she did on my hair.. not only is the salon beautiful and clean the staff is friendly and helpful.. i felt in such good hands.. I also seen April s Instagram account prior which helped big time because you can tell she has many years of experience.. her work is amazing @urhairsucks so if your like me and not knowing who you can trust with your hair visit bloom hair salon and ask for April..she also does amazing extensions!!! I thought I had found a great place to get my hair done based on a referral from a trusted friend. Unfortunately, I was deceived. Not only does the owner double and triple book appointments, upon arrival I was greeted by her on her, with a finger pointing to an area I could sit outside of her booth/room area, while she was on the phone. 15 minutes later her assistant came out to greet me. No apology. No acknowledgement. I considered leaving, and should have, but based on the referral, I stayed.
My appointment and service were mediocre at best for the price. I recently went to a different stylist at Lunatic Fringe, who upon inspection of my hair, couldn t figure out the highlight path, why it was so stripey, why some were extremely thick and blocky, and others were really thin, why certain areas had color starting at midshaft, some at what would have been the root based on my regrowth, and other color at almost my ends. My new stylist commented that the work looked rushed, sloppy, and lazy. Because I can t see the back of my head, or easily investigate the underside, I had no idea until he turned me around toward a big mirror, gave me a hand mirror and showed me. Just like my hair, this salon looks great on the surface, until you get in there and actually take a closer look. Unless you want a half ass job, at an outrageous rate, pushing Monet products on you, I d avoid this salon.
Wanted to go blonder, but Kiley took it too blonde too quick and fried my hair. Was very upset with the quality. Had to go somewhere else to get it toned properly. Still a damaged mess. Won t be coming back. Don t go to this studio if you care for the integrity of your hair.

Bloom Studios is a new salon In Midvale Utah. The decor is fresh and modern. The stylists are all so talented. It s a one stop shop as they offer everything from lashes, waxing, cut and color and extensions. Once you go you ll never go anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and go see them! You will be so happy you did!
