The books are excellent and if they don't have yours they will order it and get it to you asap! Close by! The staff are super helpful and freindly!

This pandemic caught us all off guard! I had been taking my granddaughters to the library each week for storytime. They LOVED it. But then, no storytime. Then I found out that there was a wonderful program to encourage kids to keep reading and encouraging them to read different genres. Each week or two we pick up a bag with a craft project that matches a genre- fairy tales, animal stories, etc. They LOVE it! Thank you SO MUCH for doing such a spectacular job of encouraging the little ones to keep listening to stories!!! Mrs. Lopez

Good selection of reference books, local area books, general library books and they're very children-friendly: definitely encouraging to all families.

Library itself is very homely, not cold like some libraries, like going into someone's house (and it even looks the part too!).

Blodgett is always a great place to slow down and reconnect with the community. Bulletins are posted for every age, interest, for book clubs, kids' groups, community outreach programs, employment help, tax assistance, and more! The library staff are always helpful and friendly.

This Library is a great resource for the community! I searched for a book on the Japanese Navy. It wasn't in the Mid Hudson Library system.

The Librarian said that it was possible to locate this book, outside of the MLS system, and they did find it for me !

Also I have asked, and gotten help from the young people at the front desk, when I have had an issue with either my cell phone, or with my computer.
They were very quick to help, and explained what the issue was, and how they resolved it.

Bravo !

I've been visiting this library since I was 5 years old. It's a beautiful library & building. Staff is friendly too! I still enjoy going here, even now as an adult.
