They came out on time as booked, were professional and friendly, gave extra advice on shutter cleaning and care. Highly recommended.

Such a shame I can't give zero stars.

Our builder used Blockout Shutters to install 9 shutters at our residence.

When they incorrectly positioned the shutter over our front door preventing the installation of a screen door, it took no less than a dozen phone calls to incompetent receptionists, rude and unhelpful managers, and uncontactable technicians to organise the adjustment, and we had to wait weeks and pay $900.

Most recently, when our front door shutter met with an obstacle the motor did not stop running and after a short burst of intense noise, the shutter was stripped from the drive shaft and became a coiled weapon.

When I called about warranty and a technician to assess the door for electrical safety, I was met with a very gruff office manager who as usual told me the technicians were on a break and would call me back. Her insincere tone was an early give away and of course nobody has called me. Since then my messages have been ignored despite being related to a potentially dangerous electrical component and our inability to use our front door.

I cannot fathom these people. This is an appalling company in terms of product and service.

We had maxi block shutters installed at our house recently. We were most impressed with the installer, Phira Sras who did a top notch job installing the 4 windows and 2 big sliding doors. We highly recomend his work. Thanks.

Terrible Service. Sales came and spent lees than 10 minutes with us. He then said that they would be a waste of money. With sales people like this will soon be out of business.

i spent over $12,000 on shutters years ago with this company and needed some repairs, it took 4 calls before anyone bothered to call me back. someone finally came out and fixed 1 shutter and i was told i needed motors for 2 more and someone would get an electrician to call me, guess what havent heard from them since. i will never deal with company again as their after sales service is very bad. the only reason i gave 1 star is because it wouldnt let me post otherwise

I can write a review as when I had them installed computers were not popular , in fact nobody owned one , that long ago.I Have never called the company for any issues at all , I had 20 shutters fitted most were motorised and they are still all working perfect , you get what you pay for!
