The Blind Elephant was such a neat spot. We wandered upstairs where there is more of a lounge-feel and a small bar. Nate was our bartender and was super knowledgeable and easy to talk to! Highly recommend.

Male bartender with a mustache was jerky and needs to work on his customer service skills. Other than him, atmosphere was great and so were the drinks.
Showed up Friday, arrogant hostess despite the place being empty. Specialty cocktails weren t all that special what so ever. Rude bar tenders as well. Bad speakeasy, no respect for a good cocktail, won t be returning.
So far my favorite cocktail spot on the adventure. From the entrance down the alley way, loft-like feel, warm lighting, low treble music and overall comfortable atmosphere, it's a comfortable and unique experience. The drink itself was simple but delicous. Real blackberries and mint, muddled by hand and with care. Even though the place was packed it seemed like the bartender focused on his craft and did it with pride, delivered the drink, and then reentered the crowd. Those looking for something unique and laregly avoid the college crowd, try this out.
Drinks are a bit high priced but I feel like it was worth it. The atmosphere is amazing; whoever decorated the place deserves an award. The bartenders were friendly and super helpful. Definitely will be coming back.
Among the best cocktails I've had. Their rotating menu of drinks designed by the bartenders makes it a unique experience each time you go. The ambiance of the speakeasy makes the experience feel a bit criminal.
Kudos to the Blind Elephant for always having two creative mocktails on the board so designated drivers and others that don't drink alcohol can join in.
We love the ambiance of this place. Drinks are pricey and they made a face when I asked for grape vodka (Flavored vodka is a faux pas apparently). Moscow mules made top notch. The piano player was fantastic and really added to the flavor.
This might be the best bar I've ever been to, ever. But it's definitely the best bar in Wilmington! Great drinks. Awesome music & atmosphere. A great, comfortable vibe with some wild cocktails. Love this place!
Fast, friendly service at the bar. Good selection of unique and classic drinks. I enjoyed the lounge feel; seating was mostly couches with low tables.
Unprofessional, rude security enough to ensure I'll never return. I went to the bathroom; upon exiting, a security person grabbed me by the shoulders, yelled something in my face, face, and told me I had to leave. I gave him a confused look, and told him I needed to go back to my table to tell me friend and grab my phone. He replied by grabbing me and throwing me out a back doors into a stairwell. Not a strong welcome to Wilmington. If you think I'm leaving something out, the only thing I can think of is I was taking a while in the bathroom due to pee-shy anxiety; maybe he assumed I was puking? Unacceptable.
Drinks are always fantastic. The bar is a quiet space and perfect for mature gatherings before or after dinners. The second level makes for intimate and late night talks.
Great atmosphere with a speak easy feel. Unique mixed drinks, awesome decor, great music, dress code is classy/nice (not overly strict, basically what you'd wear out to a nice dinner).
Really great place. Creative drinks with an experience. Must be willing to wait a bit for the bartender to do their art. These are unique drinks and a unique place. Bre is a great bartender!
I absolutely love this bar! It s my go to spot. If you are looking for a drink made with premium ingredients you have found the right place. Also the Moscow mules here are amazing! They are a little pricey but worth every penny.
With 25 minutes to close, somehow realizes the first ethnic (Bangladeshi) fellow with us has not quite the right shorts. Great eyes in the dark to see that his shorts were not cotton but nylon. So not OK to admit. Yeah. Great way to end the night with someone visiting America. Greaaaaat.
This bar was no fun at all, went here for a party that was advertised on Facebook and it was probably the most boring thing I've ever attended in my life. And the blond bartender was a complete joke, rude as hell. Will never be coming back here again. Worst bar downtown for sure. With over 2k people interested, only 10 people showed up.
