The only reason I came to this place is because a friend asked me to volunteer as a patient for the dental program.
The whole experience is terrible. I wouldn t do it again even if you paid me to do it.
I had to wait a long time, just to sign a piece of paper and then asked to wait outside in the car, came in waited some more, they did a Covid test, and then I had to wait some more. When they finally brought me in, they got me ready for the x-rays and after two different people checked me, my friend didn t even get to do my x-rays.
In fact, I didn t get any x-rays done at all. It was a complete waste of my time.

Had made an appointment my very first time coming here, staff was excellent as well as my hair done by Amanda Barber. The teacher walks around and helps everyone achieve what they need by giving them tips as they re working. I was very impressed with the professionalism and enthusiasm of the place. Definitely coming back and encourage anyone to go that s wants a good outcome at a decent price.

I had the best experience at Blake Austin. Noel E. gave me the best pedicure. Noel is in the cosmetology program but loves doing nails. She was professional, gentle (I have a sore spot on my foot), listened to what I wanted, and gave me a great pedicure. I plan to keep going back to Noel for my mani and pedicures.

The receptionist there is really nice and Eric. There was a time I sat in the lobby awaiting to retake the math portion of my entrance exam. A guy walked (who worked there)up to the receptionist basically saying 'how come people cant round off numbers?'
The receptionist said ' who doesnt know how to round' He responded ' you would be surprised'
My thought is, be careful what you say and how you say it. You could really offend someone.

Mikaela Madden she has done my chunky highlights and gray touch ups twice. Professional and learns quickly. She is fun and loves her work. Come see her, she will take great care of you.

I had a nail service done by Fabien, and for a young man who's learning, he did a really good job! He needed help a few times, which totally didn't bother me. It's a school. Overall I had a wonderful experience here! Defiantly coming back.

Had a great experience with sophomore Arianna getting a pedicure. Massage chair, foot rub, trim and paint, feeling relaxed. Good time watching all students in their new careers. Can't beat the prices. Best of luck to all. Looking forward to next month

Minorities please think twice about going here , if you hang out with minorities please think twice about going here if you re related to minorities PLEASE think twice about going here . At orientation the owner of the school told the whole nail tech class to not be ghetto at this school and looked at me and another African American student directly in our eyes and we asked her what she meant and she didn t elaborate but repeated herself another time. There have been so many incidents of harassment and making up rules as they go . The principal and owner are related so there s no point in requesting meetings or looking for resolutions because they will team up with eachother and the best part I was kicked out WEEKS before graduation , the OWNER stated that she did not think I wanted to be successful because she knows my Type I wonder what that means .. please run far away from this school .

Everything about this school is amazing im in my last days of classes here and i loved every second of it. The staff and students are amazing and helpful. I am graduating the administrative program and i would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I love coming here!! The students are very welcoming and friendly. This is a very clean and well organized cosmetology school. I always get my hair colored and styled by Kayla Barraza. She's fantastic!
