Nice atmosphere and delicious po boys! Will definitely visit again to try some more Cajun cuisine.

Unfortunately, our Mother s Day dinner was a disappointment. They were short staffed and we waited a long time for food, yes, appetizers and our meals. We were at this establishment for OVER 2 hours and it was NOT by choice.

Appetizers took a long time to come out and when they did, the crab dip was good but the $15 gator bites were NOT worth it at all! They were more like gator crumbs, served on a huge plate for a bunch of nothing.

After appetizers, we had to wait another 40-45 minutes and they ran out of gator (2 of our orders). So those people had to get an alternate dish. The food overall was subpar and the portions were very small. My father in law ordered a side of asparagus and got 5...yes 5 asparagus! Out of my 8 person party, only 2 dishes were good, the brunch with French toast and the pasta.

On top of it all, a gratuity was automatically added...what a ripoff. The service was definitely not worth the price we paid. It s a good thing it was automaticity charged based on the size of our party.

This was definitely the wrong place to go for Mother s Day.

Unique food, it was fun to try. I had the crayfish bisque and it was AMAZING. My friends pork chop was great, but the rest of the food was just "ok". A bit pricey, and even tho my friends and I enjoyed it, I probably won't go back.

The food was disgusting, the gumbo didn t seem to be all the way cooked. The ingredients were crunchy and it was under flavored. The salad was even disgusting. The food made me throw up. I wouldn t go there if you know what actual Cajun food is supposed to taste like. It was awful.

I ve never made a review for any establishment until now because I never felt the need to. Until I visited the Blackened Kraken and encountered the owner. Or so they say he is the owner . To start off the service was excellent, it was a Friday night and a little busy. The hostess was nice and attentive, I sat at the bar and was immediately greeted by the bartender. She was busy and clearly a little flustered but gave me excellent service. The food (I had shrimp and grits) was hot and delicious, the drinks were cold and just right. But an encounter happened where said owner had completely belittled and disrespected his bartender who was just in need of a little help. Ordering her to do this and this and this without any ounce of appreciation or gratitude while she was already busy in her own right. I was a little shocked that someone in the position of owner could speak to his employees the way he did infront of guests. After the confrontation I could tell the bartender was off her game the rest of the night. I offered her my apologies on his behalf and gave her the appreciation she deserved. I wish I could come back here because I did enjoy it. I noticed some other reviews about the manager here and can just say he should not be in the position he is in. An unkind, greedy, rude man. Best of luck to his wonderful staff

The food was very good and came in large portions! The 1 pound shrimp boil was enough for 2 people. Definitely well seasoned (jambalaya is hot in a good way). We enjoyed our time there. There was definitely effort and love put into making the food! High quality for sure!!!

We went in and had were told to seat ourself, friendly greeter..only person that acknowledged us the whole time we were there!! Sat at a high top table right next to the the bar, bartender even looked our way couple of times. No service after 20 minutes we left. Don't worry, won't be back

First time visiting. Asked the bartender taking my order about the menu, he would shrug and give nondescript answers. Did not seem to care.

The place is very pricy. Ordered 7 shrimp for an appetizer for $11, half a container of gator bites for $15. The fries are soggy and terrible

I ve been to others and they were outstanding . This one the management is so disgustingly poor . The cleanliness is absolutely unacceptable . The customer service Was not customer service at all!
