Great to visit. 18th and early 19th century structures. Farm. Trails to hike. This state nature preserve is special. The Tyler family lived here.

I take my Grandchildren there often, we all enjoy it very much. Nice clean place
Thank you
Unfortunately they don't allow dogs on the trails. Nice place. I will be back again.
Beautiful grounds perfect for little kids. The draw of the animals coupled with some nice hikes makes this site seem new every visit. Our family loves it here.
It's always a blessing to be able to come here! There are beautiful trails to walk and sweet animals to feed.
Sad to hear you now require photographers to pay to take photos here. We asked our photographer if we could do the photos here and she said she was required to pay a fee. But thankfully Louisville is full of beautiful free parks.
Blackacre is a hidden jewel! Over ten years ago, I started bringing children to the homestead during the summer where they enjoyed playing in the over 200 year old barn and exploring their grounds. We would pack a lunch, have lunch along Jackson Hole pond, sketch nature and play for hours. Sometimes we would bring carrots for the horses and goats to eat. It's always great to see the two old donkeys, Taco and Salsa.
The donkey s ankles were raw and bleeding and the horses had raw spots where their harnesses were. Awful.
A nice Preserve tucked away in the suburbs of Louisville
Always a place that brings contentment
The animals are gentle & so sweet.
If you wondered if you can the answer is NO. There is a rule against it!
