Wonderful DC institution, if a bit expensive for dinner. Super fresh seafood prepared impeccably. Warm, welcoming service with a neighborhood feel. Happy hour is my favorite time to visit, when drink and food specials make Blacksalt more affordable. (And their happy hour hamburger is the best burger in the city.) At lunch, they offer an inexpensive three- or four-course prix fixe menu. With so many options, Blacksalt is a great go-to for any occasion.
Best seafood in dc - whether at the market or restaurant. Great service. A classic spot that I regularly frequent.
