Terrible experience. Rude staff, actually ended up leaving as were made to feel very uncomfortable by the staff. I have coeliacs disease so asked for gluten free options and the waitress laughed and said what can I do. Not acceptable at all, hopefully the management can have a serious think about moving into the 21st century. Avoid this bistro if you have any intolerances. Ended up eating at Chy, much more accommodating.

Amazing food and a lovely vibe on the trendy Lark Lane. Been many times and cannot fault! Puddings are all home-made and absolutely fantastic. The Sunday - Tuesday 3 courses deal is amazing value! Would definitely recommend!

Nice choice on menu, comfortable rustic and charming. Attentive service and friendly. A little gem at v reasonable prices. Tried the calamari starter, Sri Lankan curry and Lemon, lime n ginger cheesecake to finish. Washed down with a cheeky Nero d'Avola. Would recommend :)

First time I've been here for lunch. Have to say the food quality was excellent, as it is in the evenings. Only downside was the wait. The restaurant was fairly quiet but we waited forty minutes for a soup and sandwich and fish and chips.

We have been regulars at this place, but after today s humiliation, it was definitely our last time in here! We had friends coming all the way from Leeds and we decided to take them here for a nice drink because it normally is a nice place to relax. The 4 of us plus our 4 month old baby arrived at the place, asked if it was ok to just have drinks, the waitress allowed us to do so and gave us two options: 1) sit at a table for half hour only due to a reservation or 2) sit in the couch area for as long as we wanted. We, of course, decided to sit in the couch area as we didn t want to rush our drinks. We sat for approximately 10 mins only to be told that we couldn t sit in there as it was a waiting area for customers with reservations. Quite rightly so we argued that we were told to sit there by the waitress that spoke to us first. We were then told to sit in the reserved table, but at this point we only had 20 mins left due to the supposed reservation , so we rejected the offer. One of the waitresses then started having an argument with us stating how she was doing us a favour in front of other customers. We said one more time that we were given the option to sit in the couch area, but to no avail. My wife (who had a baby in her arms) was then told that she was making the situation worse by refusing to leave the couch area. At this point we walked away while both waitresses were still going on about how they tried to help us. It is very safe to say that this was our last time in this place.

Limited but varied menu with all the food freshly cooked and very tasty. Reasonably priced for a Lark Lane restaurant.

Lovely food however not that wide of a selection. Portions have gotten smaller since last time I went and some favourites have been taken off the menu which was disappointing. Food ordered was still great, however. Nice place for a coffee and cake, but also for an evening meal. Lovely atmosphere, would go again.

Been here only once before and was blown away at the quality of the food (and price!). On our 2nd trip we were not disappointed...superb fresh food and cooked to the highest standard, one of the best restaurants/bistro's in Liverpool. Highly recommended.

I went here for dinner tonight with my partner and it was amazing! The food was so tasty and the portions were generous. Plus it was ridiculously cheap! The staff were so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend going here, I know we will be going again soon.

Thai prawn fishcakes I had last month; I can't stop thinking about them! Served with home made chips - EVEN MORE PERFECT! Staff were super friendly! Went for birthday lunch with my mum. Please try the chocolate orange cake. Even if you're diabetic you have to try it! It'll be worth your GP telling you off! Jokes aside amazing atmosphere, amazing food and amazing staff. Can't fault it and can't wait to visit again next time I'm in Liverpool
