Absolutely Appalling Experience – Avoid Bisham Consultancy and Neil Middleton at All Costs
We engaged Bisham Consultancy, led by Neil Middleton, to assist with a critical transition between logistics fulfillment providers. What followed was a deeply disappointing and frankly shocking experience that left us thousands of pounds out of pocket with nothing of substance to show for it.
Neil billed us a staggering £180 per hour for 23.5 hours—amounting to £6,372.00. For that, all we received was a series of rudimentary Excel spreadsheets offering basic auditing data, the kind any competent in-house team could have easily generated. These were padded out with unnecessarily long and unproductive Zoom calls that went in circles and led nowhere.
When it finally came time for recommendations, things went from bad to worse. The suggestions provided were, quite frankly, irresponsible. One company operated from what appeared to be a derelict car garage. Another, a tiny operator, had a director with a significant criminal history—something that would have been immediately obvious with even the most basic vetting. The final recommendation was supposedly part of a larger logistics network, but this turned out to be an entirely different company with a similar name.
Given the scale of our operations—including regular container shipments from the UK to the USA and warehousing 400–500 pallets—these “recommendations” were not only unsuitable, they were outright negligent.
When we questioned Neil on the legitimacy and quality of these referrals after payment had been made, we were told that the relationship “wasn’t working” and that we should proceed without their help. In other words, once the invoice was paid, the consultancy washed their hands of any responsibility.
This was not professional consulting—it was opportunism, plain and simple. We will now be enforcing recovery of the funds with the actions necessary.
Avoid Bisham Consultancy and Neil Middleton like the plague. They offer little more than empty promises and inflated invoices. We deeply regret engaging them and strongly urge others to steer well clear. Neil's attitude on our final phone calls showed his true colours. Avoid this crook.
