It is one of the most prestigious college of Gujarat. The infrastructure is not so good as not much has changed since it was made. This is the first engineering college of Gujarat. The education is same as in other colleges. But the extra-curricular activities give this college the extra edge. Extra-curricular activities are really important here and opportunities are given to the worthy. If you're really looking for a good college experience, then join this college but if you're looking for a study institution, go back to school.

Nice institute for Graduation and post Graduation in Engineering field .Major staff of college are PhD level .Teaching , laboratory ,auditorium ,Drawing Halls,library, Girls room ,Hostels ,Gardens,Stage ,landscape,parking ,advance study equipments ,Canteen ,conference halls ,Seminar Halls ,Publication Units,Wi-Fi zone ,infrastructures, Administration office all those facilities are available

The infrastructure of the college was generously designed for three year degree programme with an intake of 150 students every year. The main building (now known as A Block) had class rooms and laboratories. Workshops and heat engine laboratory, drawing hall, hydraulics laboratory and boiler house were separately constructed. Shri Gordhanbhai I Patel of M/s Gordhandas Desai & Co was authorized to proceed to Europe and UK to purchase equipment for workshops, laboratories and surveying. The college thus started with the best of the equipment.

Outstanding facilities :
A spacious hall on the south end of the ground floor of the main building which at one time housed the college library was converted in 1989 into a modern Auditorium with a capacity of 350 seats and complete with acoustical treatment, light, sound and projection facilities. The Auditorium is beautifully carpeted and curtained and is rated today's as one of the best Auditorium on Vallabh Vidyanagar campus.
The Mechanical Engineering building has a Conference Room installed with complete audio-visual facilities for a capacity of 40 seats.
The college workshop was reorganized to establish laboratories for the Production Engineering programme and to house new and sophisticated machines. On south side of the workshop a new building has come up for Civil & Production Engineering Laboratories. The building is constructed at a cost of Rs. 40 lakhs .
Principal S B Junnarkar Guest House has a facility of well furnished 10 guest rooms at the second floor of newly constructed Building is constructed with the estimated cost of Rs.60 lakhs is added to BVM infrastructure.
A Multipurpose Hall with donation from L&T(with the help of CEO Er. Anil Nayak a BVMite) is also an addition to the services of alma mater.
Computer Centers of Civil, Structural, Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering are also available for students and faculties with internet connectivity.
College Canteen and conference room near Principal's office have been face lifted during 2006.

Pathetic College. Has dropped their standards in faculty especially in ET department. Website is never up. Atleast this was the case in GTU. Now that it has came under SPU again, there are chances of improvement

Well *frankly* speaking when I first entered in bvm, I was very much disappointed to look old buildings. But later I understood that it was my luck to study in such a great place. The teachers are expert and experienced in their fields.Mess is good. Competitions like Udaan are held every year where creative competitions are organized. Placements are awesome enough. And I would recommend you this college, it is the best if you want to shape good career....

I completed my BE in Computer Engineering from BVM in 2014 while it was still under GTU umbrella. It is 2019 now, BVM has become an autonomous body (Honestly i had expected a lot of changes to BVM after it became autonomous). I visited BVM's website recently and its still the same like when i visited back in 2010. I looked at the syllabus they teach, its still the same like it was with GTU (honestly - outdated, rigid, and very very mediocre). Faculty information available on BVM website is terrible, for ex: Prof. Darshak Thakore's page, Literally no information is available about him on the faculty webpage, same with all other professors - faculty page is a place where students can know more about professors and understand their accomplishments to effectively interact with them about their research interests. I believe professors should personally act on this and make their information available to students. Now let's talk about the infrastructure and facilities of the college: one word to describe it will be "Horrible". I understand BVM receives much and many grants and donations, but still no infrastructure of facilities are given to students. GYM is dusted and closed, bus services were originally planned but dusted and closed, Library is still outdated, computer labs just few (in 2010), there is literally nothing provided by the college for students, Do you still pay fees by cash ?? If yes, i hope it gets automated and online soon. Now lets talk about the one of the most important aspect : FACULTY. BVM (Computer Engineering department) does hold few passionate gems like NMP sir and Mayur Vegad sir who are really accomplished and goal driven, goal being - educating the students in the field, and then there is faculty like Bhavesh Tanawala, Mahashweta Joshi who thinks that this is still some 10th or 11th grade students, they treat students like herds, useless home-works, countless hours of writing files, and they will attack you personally if you do not obey them. Some faculty is depressing, they do not wish that you succeed, they would celebrate on your failure. Now on the good side, i do feel grateful to have studied under professors like NMP sir and Vegad sir, they can teach you a lot, but unfortunately the overall eco-system is still unbalanced. If you can, avoid BVM - there are definitely better places to spend your valuable 4 years of life. For people who disagree with me, it simply means that you haven't been at better schools and don't understand how an actual school should be. One bottom line for BVM "Naam bade, Darshan Chote".

These are the photoes of Dj night in BVM college held during UDAAN 2K18. It was an amazing experience and everyone enjoyed a lot. This was the first ever DJ night in BVM and everyone waiting for OllyEsse specially. DJ night with DualVibes and OllyEsse was comely. The stage arrangement was good and lighting was also very attractive. So overall this was an amazing and mind blowing experience.

It is the collage i am studying and it's awesome. i am student of et(2015).. and i found the faculty awesome.. science 2015 bvm is autonomous Institution now all the decision are made here by best prof.. one thing I want to mention is the infrastructure here is poor Because it is the first engineering college of gujarat.. But who wants to study don't affect by infrastructure.

BVM is the first Engineering college in gujarat with academic autonomy from GTU. The placement is around 60% from the eligible students in final year. Have admission in this college and make your future bright..

My college BVM is the one of the popular college in Gujarat with helpful facultys.There is the big facility for helping a students. Superb college...

The college is grant-in-aid and is among the best engineering colleges of Gujarat. A great place.Nice Campus and infrastructure.Faculties are supportive and experienced.

Do not mistakenly go to this college for M.tech. I've been doing M.tech ever since.

1) Coordinates the entire M.tech schedule in B.E's faculty free time.

2) There is no separate arrangement for M.tech.

3) Do not teach anything will give the assignment 10 days before the exam. (Also when you write 100 marks remaining in the footsteps of Arya, the CC grade will be the same).

4) The same faculty takes 2 to 3 subjects.
(Nothing to do)

5) Schedule from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm in the 8th standard. And the PG Coordinator threatens students not to give a mark if they don't come to college ... which is like a headache for M.tech students.

6) No one helps the project.

7) Some faculty sit down and give the whole subject in self study.

8) PG COORDINATOR Arya is constantly doing apparent discrimination and injustice to students. The students from last 3 years have been with me.

Don't study with such beasts.

Fee charges Rs.150,000 / - out of which 500 rupees is not charged.
