Bird Marella may have great lawyers. I can only review and speak about an experience with attorney Timothy Yoo of Bird Marella, an IP attorney, the brother of Dr. Donald B. Yoo. He, using Bird Marella letterhead, has threatened to sue at least four patients of Dr. Donald Yoo's for posting surgery reviews and/or comments and/or not following Realself's code of conduct. These patients felt hurt by their unfavorable or bad surgery outcomes.Why is he citing the Realself code of conduct, the very code he himself violated? Is he trying to intimidate patients using his law firm??In my opinion, it was unprofessional to threaten female patients who had unfavorable or botched results on his brother's behalf. Further, Timothy himself did not follow Realself's code of conduct (the very act he accused these patients of!!!) and has performed dubious acts including creating multiple accounts on Realself including screen name Attorney1875 where he threatened patient(s) with letter(s) and tiyo81 where he posted about his Botox treatment given by his brother and stated his brother is a "consummate professional", that his brother and his staff put him "at ease right away", and that the botox treatment gave him a "far more youthful appearance" Timothy Yoo also posted a similar review on Yelp on Dr. Donald Yoo's business. The review now shows up as being removed for violating Yelp's Terms of Service. Realself s/Yelp's code of conduct or content guidelines prohibits reviews made with a personal bias. Sorry Bird Marella, but the professionalism from Timothy Yoo is just not there, in my opinion.
