I felt I got a great start in education here. I felt I was surrounded by driven students who encouraged me to perform well, and projects were creative and fun. The only thing I didn't like was that the students were often snotty and cliquish, and I experienced some racism here from the mostly white student body; I was teased frequently by white girls about my eyes and hair. I did feel like most of the teachers cared about their students and genuinely liked kids, and I made some friends here.
