All it seems is that when you purchase an extended warranty on one of these devices all they do is tell you that what you are calling about is not covered and that the part that you need costs $700

For $7000 The gyroscope sensitivity should be adjustable. It fires when I step with my other leg about 30% of the time throwing me off balance. The leg the cuff is on is completely straight when it misfires. Only a medical device company charges $7000 for a $300 device that doesn't work well, then tries to charge you $24 for the app to control it which also doesn't work well.
