Biodome de montrèal Review

The biodome is certainly good to fill up a rainy day. It was better than I had expected but I've been spoilt by other biodomes (Eden Project UK & Garden by the bay Singapore). It's good for families as there is a healthy mix of fauna and animals. In the tropical part there were some Monkey's, Parrots and a Capybara. Then follows and aquarium part and some Bat caves. The climate then changes to that found in parts of Canada, we were lucky enough to see some Otters and Raccoons. They had a Beaver but I couldn't spot it. In other parts there are more sea life creatures (Jellyfish, Starfish, Fishes) and it finishes off with Seagulls, Puffins and Penguins! Over all we had a good day!

Awesome place to pay to see animals in an aging concrete prison. You leave feeling free as a bird.

It's nice. I expected to see more but it is good and the staff are passionate and attentive.

Fun place to see beautiful animals. I wish the parking would be free because your already paying a pricy admission.

I expected so much more from it , no real direction on entrance or exits ..exhibits were not anything special No social distancing measures put in place . What a covid-19 hot spot .. waste of money .

Should go once if you're in Montreal.... Great place to visit and children love it.

was a neat place to visit the habitats were a little small for the amount of animals living in them and the price was a little high for how much there was to see.

Renovation will not hurt. There will be a long close soon. Many animals are nocturnal and hide. At a discount for residents and students, the regular price was overpriced.

Very nice place! Lots of diversity. Only visited the biodome, skipped the space building. It took us about 40 minutes to go through the place. I'd say it's a bit pricy for that amount of time. Still, some good stuff here.

Unlike traditional zoos, I got the experience of getting inside the natural environment of animals and interact with them

Small and well maintained. Not many wow factors but very friendly Staff. Loved the surprise puppet show at their amphitheatre.

This place is a lot of fun for the family. We've been here a number of times and our kids always act as if it's their first time there. If you're a fan of animals, birds, etc., then this is a must see for Montreal.

The Montreal Biodome is a facility located at Olympic Park in the Montreal that allows visitors to walk through replicas of four ecosystems found in the Americas. An awesome interactive experience specially if you are into sea life. Sometimes you ll be surprised with special guests and programs.

A very nice activity to do with the family, even with young children. There is a play corner. If you visit the park at the right time, children can feed otters. And the puppet show really pleased my boy.

Long lines, and some more English signage would be appreciated.

Really nice! Last time I went, we were denied access because they are renovating to modernize the living environments for the animals. Can't wait to go see the updates!

Lack of interaction, lack of animals and actually daily window cleaning would be the least of things. But good health restaurant not too expensive.

Lovely indoors attraction to spend the afternoon with a curious little toddler. On the small side so you don't miss anything and your outing doesn't need to drag on all day. Cafe in front of biodome (no food inside) serves sandwiches and great salads (2 choices).

Big disappointment after the reopening! we spend two years of work to show us more plants than animals! Not to recommend or to visit once in a lifetime

The Biodome of Montreal was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. It was educational and provided many photo opportunities. Displays are in both French and English, so don't be afraid to go and immerse yourself in these simulated animal environments if you are not from Quebec.

I really liked ... Only that it did not bring a single change in 8 years ... so nothing new .. but otherwise the activity is enjoyable

In the middle of the Olympic Village in the old velodrome, the biodome offers a tour of the different environments that make up our planet. Penguins crocodile a full visit will be offered.

It's cool to be there and to see but it could be a lot better also but you have to go if you're in Montreal.

Very expensive for what it is. We were done in the Biodome in an hour. There really isn't that much to see. Overall I think I would have given it 3 stars if I didn't have to pay $18 to park then $20 per person to have a look at 1 lazy capybara, 3 caiman, 2 sleeping lynx, and a beaver.

If you have nothing better to do, and money to burn...then do it.

It was presented in a way that captures the human pupil.

Went here on a particularly gloomy, rainy day. Currently there is a lot of contruction. But the biodome is smaller then I expected the exhibits were only half working (touch screens panels broken or turned off completely) the ampitheatre was closed completely for renovation (it happens) the animals were cute and the staff friendly but finished the whole thing in about 45 minutes. All staff were bilingual which was helpful as my French is basic. There was a very tiny cafe, And a small gift shop. It was 49$ for all 4 structures (biodome, planetarium, insectarium, and botanical gardens) So can't really complain it was definitely a good value and was a nice way to spend a gloomy day.

Always a fun stop in Montreal. Love the jungle area in the winter.

What a chance we went there before it closed again due to covid19! Absolutely loved it with children 8 and 3! Very genuine and animals are happy and chill! You can tell that they are bring well taken care of and staffs are so proud of their animal friends.
