Bintan Lagoon Resort Review

Totally loved the place which made me visit it twice in 6 months.. !!! A perfect place to relax and rejuvenate over a weekend.. A morning massage followed by a good swim along with in-pool bar and water basketball results into a well spent noon. Proceed to jet skiing which they let you operate for yourself gets enough adrenaline rush to get your evening started on a high. They have various options available for the evening (dance floor/karaoke/live band performance/private beach restaurant).
Overall had a wonderful experience both the times i visited.

Private resort with own beach, rooms are chalet styled with a house and few bedrooms. There is a golf course here, nice course designed by international gold course designers. The caddies are very helpful to beginner golfers so do tip them well after your game. Nothing much to do at night.

Overall good place for relax. One night stay is more than enough.

Complete comprehensive resort. Biggest golf field in Bintan. The first oldest 5star Resort in Bintan, open 1996, now alrdy refurnished, even still looks old. Very big area.

Loved it there. Loved it even more considering it was off season and it felt like we were the only ones there. Everyone was super nice. The room was clean and comfortable and the service was amazing. If you're looking for an Indonesian island resort to get away with full amenities, Bintan is a lovely little island that's definitely worth going to.

Beautiful Resort! The beach and surroundings are breathtaking. Hotel rooms were mediocre but good for the price. One of the best things was it's own private ferry terminal that saves the travel time from the local ferry terminal and the resort. That was a big plus. Saves almost 1 to 2 hours each way.

You get what you pay for. Ants in the room, I wanted to sleep with my clothes on in bed.
Spent most of the time at the pool which was downright beautiful, has private areas, infinity edge with gorgeous view, swim-up bar with the friendliest young bartender, and basketball hoops for some in-water activity when you are bored from laying in the sun or shade.
There is golf, 4x4 off-road courses and other touristy options, shopping, but I was there to relax and enjoy the pool.
Extremely pricey breakfast buffet (in relation to the room fee...we would have paid more for one meal than one night in our room) but the pool-side burger was the most remarkable burger I may have ever eaten. For roughly $10 USD I enjoyed the burger pictured...fresh, soft dark bun with egg, avocado, juicy beef and more. So amazingly delicious *and* economically priced, I basically lived on these balanced and tasty burgers during my entire stay. Bring your own bottled water! I didn't trust the tap water or ice.
The "club" downstairs is...interesting. Seems to be open on a whim, and we were the only 3 people watching the band perform American cover songs.
We may return, but will be better prepared next time!

The only resort with ferry & immigration port to Singapore. Amazing 2 golf courses. One of the oldest resort at this area.

A wonderful beach resort with breathtaking views with 470 hotel rooms and villas spanning 750 ha area.

The hotel welcomes every guest with a traditional Indonesian dance and an in-house drink. The clear view of the Indian Ocean from the lobby is deeply soothing.

The rooms are all equipped with modem amenities. You can venture outside at the private beach or, to one of the two Swimming pools.

There are enough recreational amenities available for kids and adult alike. Also the breakfast buffet and the dinner spread are equally inviting.

Overall if you are looking for a relaxing gateway, Bintan Lagoon is certainly a great consideration.
