Mike did a fantastic job as our guide! He provided so much historical information and genuinely seemed to love talking, and exploring, Seattle. Lots of information in a short amount of time! They even got us in on an earlier tour! Such a good experience!

Mike was a great guide. His passion for the topic is great and inspiring. Couldn't stop listening to him. Also the guys at the ticket counter were really friendly and flexible, customer orientated. Would highly recommend the tour with beneath the streets.

Let's talk about Richard. Richard... Where do I begin?
Richards tour is better than whatever other tours you've seen. He has the keys that unlock secrets. I want to sleep to the sound of Richards voice. His voice sounds like the dos equis man - the most interesting tour in the world. Also, Richard knows all.

We experienced 10,000 years of history in one hour. Long live Richard!

Really fun informative tour, our Guide was Richard, he was great, and the groups are way smaller then the major touristy one, so defiantly a better feel having done both. Worth it.

There is mold in the underground as people mentioned, and I have allergies, but I toughed it out, not really the tours fault, just a FYI. I toughed it out, and it was worth it. Just something to be aware of.

GREAT historical tour of Seattle. Fun stories of its founding. Great references to events, people, culture that helped form Seattle.

My 8 year old niece took the photos and enjoyed the tour, as did my 15 year old nephew.

Since we aren't from the Seattle area, we didn't know how good this tour would be. But we had a fantastic guide, Jim, who is extremely informative, very entertaining, and passionate about the history he shares. We wouldn't hesitate for a moment to recommend it to anybody. Well worth the time!

Took this tour using the Groupon offer of Buy 1 Get 1. It was very informative to learn about Seattle's history, on the tour we also had the chance to see some charming old photos of the city. An hour well spent.

I will start by saying I have not done any of the other Seattle underground tours so this is not comparing them. I was disappointed for a few reasons. First it was kind of boring with just 3 stops under the sidewalk. I did a similar tour in Cincinnati and it was a lot better. The tour guide got on a kick right in the beginning about how bad the native Americans were treated which I agree with completely but it bordered on a lecture which I did not need. Everyone was nice and I don t know if they could have made it any better. There was a lot of history on Seattle which was good but not a lot of history on the actual locations.

Very cool walking tour my husband booked for our trip to Seattle. There was a lot of good history, fun facts and information on the changing landscape of Seattle. The little museum where the tour starts is very cool too.

Learning what happened in early Seattle days is very interesting, but you do go underground with old, dusty, musty leftovers no one wanted in stuffy air and city-critter urine smells.
It's not for everyone, but I've spent plenty of time in various nonstandard places, like barns, kennels, camping, and cabins so I didn't mind it too much. Our group leader, Zan, is cleaver and insightful and the initial talk was enlightening and funny.

Do not listen to people saying it was not interesting. Because it was. So yes it's only for us, but the guide was great, a funny guy with a mustache, he made the tour really interesting. And you do learn about the city. Do not listen to the bad languages. It's super interesting, unless you already know the history of this city, in which case obviously not much interest to do this trick.

The tour guide Dave was so good. He s very knowledgeable even about more than the tour, really all things Seattle. He adds jokes which is always a plus. They provide umbrellas cause it s often raining in Seattle. The tour goes upstairs and downstairs to 3 different locations. It s a little on the short side but by the same token you wouldn t want it to be overwhelmingly long either as it s a walking tour. It was only $20. It was nice to have a small intimate group instead of trudging behind 30 people with the other underground tour.

Our guide, Dietrich, was so great! He was funny, sooo knowledgable, and a really great guide. My husband and I learned so much and got to see some really cool things. We loved the authenticity of it all and learning a lot from someone so clearly passionate! Would recommend to all 18+ members of my family and friends!

I love that these guys don't go overboard about the indiscreet past of Seattle, and I love that they aren't yelling at you all the time because the groups are too large. Perfect group size, they focus more on the history and architecture of the early days in the city and do it in a fun way.

If you were hoping to spend a lot of time exploring the under ground of Seattle this isn't the tour for you. A majority (40 minutes of an hour long tour) will be spent walking the streets of Seattle from pioneer square to occidental Square. I am pretty disappointed in the actual tour, but the guide was engaging and funny and as a born and raised Seattlite I did learn a few things about the history. However I just wouldn't recommend this to someone from the area just because for $26 I really expected to see things i couldn't see otherwise.
For tourists I see how this could be appealing but I am not thrilled.

We spent a wonderful hour touring tunnels beneath the streets of Seattle as well as above-ground. Our tour guide, Dave, was fantastic. He was informative as well as entertaining. We learned a lot about the history of Seattle. Would highly recommend this tour.

I love old architecture, live history, and life stories, so this tour was theoretically right up my alley. Unfortunately there isn't much to see in the underground, with only two or three tidbits repeating themselves in the three locations we got to see. The rest is up to the charm of the guide, which generally worked well, but wasn't what I was hoping to see.

Great one hour tour of three underground places that outline the history of Seattle post it's big fire, and how the city is basically built one story above where it used to be, to allow for easier drainage and sewage systems. The tour guide was excellent and gave additional info on the history of Seattle.

A GREAT way to get some history about the Seattle area from its beginning to modern. Do some research to see what times each of these places has available to get the one that best fits you. This one also did a much smaller group size than other ones I saw touring around. Super friendly and knowledgeable guide and staff.

Fun and informative tour. They limit the size of their groups, which is nice. Warning, if you have any issues with breathing, you may want to avoid the tour. A lot of people were sneezing and a couple were coughing during the tour; it is underground after all.

Did the after hours underground tour which was supposed to be more raunchy and hilarious.
Instead, most of our 'raunchy' bits were heavily glazed over and the tour guide followed up every stop with "did you get that/do you understand?".
After a few stops it began to feel more like a field trip than a tour.
It was extremely informative and I would recommend the trip to college students or history/archetecture buffs, but be completely aware that this tour is overwhelmingly factual and lacks the story telling aspect that usually brings tours of this kind to life.
Death museum was very interesting and the aesthetic was clasically spooky.
