Called them after finding water in our crawl space. Scott Tripp came to our house and was able to identify exactly where the water was coming from and told us exactly what we needed to do. I feel a lot more relaxed about the situation after speaking with him. Scott was so helpful and extremely kind; answered all of our questions and was very easy to get in touch with. I 10/10 recommend Scott and Healthy Basement Systems!
When we bought our house, the crawlspace with "ratslab" flooded when it rained. There was no moisture barrier and the wood beams had a little mold. It was dark and dirty. Our plumbing and electric were accessible but contractors would come up from there with muddy sandy shoes that damaged our wood floors. Now all that mess is sealed below a bright white waterproof barrier. We have LED lights now near our new pumps. The dehumidifier ensures we have no mold. Our coat closet is the access point for the crawl. Now our coats don't pick up any scent from down there. We are quite pleased with the product and service.

We first met with Eric, who helped us address basement flooding and leaking rain water from our cellar windows. He was patient, knowledgeable, and was able to answer all of our questions. He was kind and through, spending a great deal of his time to educate us about our options. Together we made a plan that fit out budget to ensure that water is never a problem in our basement again. I appreciate how quickly the crew was able to get started. They worked efficiently and were respectful of my home; cleaning up after each day of work. So far we haven t had any issues with water leaking and it s been a relief to no longer worry when it rains.
After the work was complete, Eric introduced us to Paul for an estimate for finishing the basement. My husband and I liked him from the start, he listened carefully to our vision and was able to create a draft of our dream basement. He worked quickly to get us an estimate and we appreciated the transparency of the cost of each step. He was able to provide us an itemized list of the cost of supplies and installation. He worked with us to keep us under budget without compromising our ultimate goals. For example he suggested we run rough electric and plumbing for a future bathroom and bar. It s exciting to know that those are projects we can easily add in the future.
Once the plans were finalized, Paul and his crew started quickly on the job. They showed up on time each day and worked diligently. Paul was sensitive to the fact that I was expecting my daughter on November 25th, and it was clear that he made every effort to get the job done fast without cutting corners. I m a bit of a perfectionist and like to understand the installation process. Paul was beyond patient with me- always taking time to address my concerns. He constantly made himself available to me; both in the evenings and on weekends. I appreciate this so much knowing that he has a big family of his own. Paul was able to complete the job in less time then promised- and I am so grateful because my daughter made a surprise arrival on November 7th!
The crews that worked with both Eric and Paul were excellent. They were polite and worked very hard, taking pride in their work. Denise In the office was also very helpful with communicating our payments and was always prompt in getting back to me. In addition to being professionals who do excellent work, the staff are genuine and kind people. My husband Rob and I couldn t not be happier with our new basement.

Since Covid, we are in the house more than we are out. We decided to make our unhealthy basement healthy, and finish the basement too. Gabriel Ryan was the representative that came to assess our basement. He spent a lot of time explaining the whole system. He was upfront with the pricing and allowed us to make changes with no problems. The entire team worked efficiently and worked just about every day till the job was done. About 2 weeks after buying my house, I came home to a flooded basement with over 3 inches of water and rising. I didn't know what to do! Then a friend told me about Healthy Basement systems who I later called and they installed a triple safe sump pump and a wall drainage systems at an affordable price. Their courteous installers also gave me a few hints and tips to help relieve my mold problem that started in the basement. I had purchased a house recently and found that water seeping into my basement, so I called healthy basements and asked for estimate. Frank Felice came and explained me the whole issue and installing a French drain and motor to drain the water out. He explained with power point presentation that this will be ideal and good solution to solve it. They estimated thousands of dollars and I agreed and paid the money. They came did the work and left. Few weeks later I had the same issue and called them again. They sent a guy and applied more cement on the leakage area. They said that should fix the issue. Few weeks later I had water seeping again and this time when I call Frank who initially said would solve the issue is now gives attitude to respond and said it s service department issue and they will come and fix it.
They guy who said the French drain is the perfect solution for this issue now refers me to service department and doesn t even want to
Come and look at the issue. Once you pay them the money they have a very different and rude attitude.
Please don t hire these people and end up a victim

I purchased a new house in November that had water in the crawl space. With that water there was mold in the floor insulation. HBS came in and removed all water, installed a sump, removed insulation, cleaned mold then re- insulated and sealed up entire crawl space. Previously there was 90%+ humidity down there, now it is held between 45 and 50 at all times. I have had other contractors (plumbers and electricians) in the crawl space since and they have remarked on how great and tight everything is down there.
