Great raw and broiled oyster appies!! Pasta and lobster specials galore this month.
Service is great, meals are hot and beer is cold and frosty!
2nd visit was even better! I had the steak, daughter had the jambalaya. Steak was cooked exactly as requested, though a good brandy peppercorns sauce would have made it perfect

Just returned from an early dinner at Big Daddy's tonight and it turned out to be a very enjoyable evening. There were 5 of us, (seniors), who are not always easy to please. We live in the area and decided to give it a try. Everyone loved the food and the server who was very accomodating. We'll pass the word around and will become regulars from now on. So happy to have discovered it.
Decided to have my birthday dinner celebration here and it was beyond what I even expected. Our waiter Ashley was super amazing, friendly and attentive to us throughout. As well, to my surprised, they had treated myself plus my group to round of shots. At the end they brought me a dessert with a candle singing happy birthday. I came here only to expect great food, which we all experienced, very tasteful. I left feeling like my birthday was an amazing experience from start to finish while here at their restaurant. Thank you for your hospitality and the memorable experience!
My group stayed in the hotel so we went there for breakfast. The waiter was nice, my meal was under $15, and the decor is fine, which is about the only good things I can say. Even though our orders went in pretty fast, it still took 20 min for the food to arrive because a small tour group of about 10 came in and then they were served their food first before us. The hashbrowns were stone cold and the bacon was mildly lukewarm. I didn't want to send them back to be warmed up in fear of my meal taking another 20 min and we had a meeting to catch. I don't know what lunch and dinner is normally like but breakfast was disappointing.
EDIT: The owner of the restaurant replied to my review, "I'm very sorry the small tour group of 42 delayed your breakfast". I will edit my statement to reflect that the restaurant was serving a hot buffet breakfast to a large tour group when my group was there, and that is a reasonable delay in our food and service. I will also clarify that the "small tour group of 10" I referred to was actually not taking part in the buffet breakfast. They ordered off the menu, like us, and the wait staff brought their food before our group, which is what I was trying to get at in my original review. I hope that clarifies my experience to everyone else reading this. Thanks.
There something about live music fused with good food that makes, banter and digestion process a whole lot better. Big Daddy's lived up to expectations on all the above!! The quite yet quaint spot goes unnoticed from the street. But when you step inside, it packs a punch.
Delicious food and wonderful staff! The waitress we had was so nice and the food was simply amazing! There was live jazz music which is played Saturday nights. We were staying at the hotel Cartier and decided to give this a try. Definitely glad we did!
Great food, always good, wonderful atmosphere. Must add that besides the great food, great atmosphere, added bonus is the bartender Kevin, very attentive and entertaining.
Great service. Great food. We had the seafood platter which was delicious. The white wine sauce was better than the clarified butter sauce. We even had the service staff show us the tricks of properly opening blue crabs.
Great atmosphere and great live music. The servers were very nice and accommodating. I do however need to stress that the oysters are not a specialty here. We ordered ten of them, one of which was dead, all of which were still connected to the bottom shell. Pieces of broken shell were in many of them, meanwhile there was never a mention of where they came from. Not a bad restaurant, just perhaps not the seafood experience you're looking for.
