We walked in on Valentine's Day during dinner time. The wait was normal but not so bad for a special day like today. The service by our waitress Amber was EXCELLENT, especially with the dinner rush. The food was SUPERB! If they run like a well oiled machine on a busy day like today I can only imagine how amazing they are on regular days. Great place! Highly recommend.

Food and Service was good but unfortunately they charged my credit card incorrectly. The bill was $100 and they charged by credit card for $400. I only signed for $100 so I don't know how the server could have messed it up. It has been 4 days without resolution. It has been a nightmare trying to get this money back from Big Bear.
I've been here 5-6 times and leave disappointed every time - this last visit was no exception. I'm not sure why I kept going back but I'm finally done. Some of the items are really good but each time at least one item was wrong, overcooked, cold, or just plain bad. For these prices it should be consistently good.
I absolutely love Big Bear. The beer cheese soup is hands down my favorite thing on the menu. I get it every time I go. Their food is so so good. The have their main staples but always have new specials as well. It is a little pricey but it is worth it if you are able to go. I usually save this place for a special occasion, I go more often when I have the extra money
As a local place it has the feeling of a phenomenal luxe chain or franchise. They brew their own beers, ales, and stouts. Certain Florida rules prevent certain types of sales, otherwise this place would be known for their great and talented brewmaster. As it stands they have a wide range of excellent food offerings from brick oven pizzas to steaks and seafood. They offer brunch on Sundays though I have yet to have the pleasure. If you have a hankering for a margarita, you can get a 46 oz doozy of a margarita. Full liquor bar is available. But my favorite, aside from the outstanding bear theming, is the Beer Muenster Cheese Soup which is served in a bread bowl. If you try it, you will think you have found heaven where cheeses become angels dancing across your tongue. Alright I know I sound lame. Just try it and you will always go back and wonder how you will eat anything else on the menu because your brain will tell you try a great burger or sandwich or salad, but your heart will overrule and say Beer Muenster Cheese Soup. Go! Today! Order and eat...and love.
Server was awesome. This is the second time we've been here and the first time was just so-so because our server forgot our apps and kind of disappeared the rest of the night. The burgers and beer here are great and the pretzel crusted chicken was amazing. Save room for the dessert sampler!
I liked the decor. Atmosphere was great. Best place to meet friend. Amazing services. Sitting section was comfortable and beautiful. I had spend a great time.
Great food and excellent service. Our server Samantha was friendly and took our orders promptly. Unfortunately I was on pain medication at the time so I was unable to sample their beer selection, but the food was delicious. I personally had the New Yorker pizza and it was awesome
I have always liked this place the food and service is great I just had brunch here for my birthday and the food was amazing. If you want to try a great Sunday cocktail ask for the Gentleman.
I think the title says it all for me!!! My husband has been look for Tex mex that compares to California and he swears this is as close as it gets here. Either way everything is fresh and yummy!!
Service was terrible. We waited half hour from time were sat for bread, after asking twice. Waited another 20 minutes for salad then another for dinner. Manager was unapologetic or helpful. Will not be returning.
Great local restaurant. I like the warm atmosphere. Feel like a special date night when we go there. They brew their own beers and root beer. Both are delicious. Beer Munster cheese soup is a must have. Unique and tasty. Good hamburgers and entree salads.
We loved the beer and cheese soup as always . We would ve given them a 5 but both of mine and my husband churrasco or skirt steak was chewy and very fatty. Not as good as the ones we had before on previous visits. I mentioned to our waiter. But overall great place to eat.
2 of the diners ordered the free range chicken came out totally dry had to send it back they ended up not eating dinner The management obviously took it off the bill and was very apologetic
Coral Springs is lucky to have this fine restaurant. From the minute you walk in there is a sense of excellence. There is a huge variety on the menu. I especially like the choices of salads. It is a perfect place to meet friends during a weekday, a family gathering or a date night. There is an outdoor eating area before our weather gets too hot, with the same good service as inside. I look forward to my next visit.
I ordered the Prime Rib medium, it came rare. I sent it back. It came out medium rare. I sent it back again and it came to me well done. No discount, no manager, nothing. Will skip Big Bear next time.
This is one of my favorite restaurants ever! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the food is really spectacular, and they brew their own delicious beer! Foods i love there: The pretzel crusted chicken; rattlesteak salad, burgers, really i have never been disappointed there ever! I highly recommend it!
big bear has been around for a while in the coral springs strip of restaurants . I think their food is great and its always consistent . they have great service and really handle the crowds on weekends. this place is a staple where i know i will always enjoy my meal.!
We have been going to Big Bear for many years and the food & service never disappoints! Terri is always very accommodating & treats us and everyone like family. Thank you Big Bear for practicing safe Covid procedures and to Andrew for your warm hospitality and making tonight special as we celebrated our Son's 24th Birthday. The amazing food & staff continue to make Big Bear our favorite restaurant in Coral Springs and one of the best in S. Florida!
Very poor service, food terrible-cold, sent order back twice because it was cold. Ended up not eating. Waitress had an attitude- she said that she doesn't cook the food- she just serves it. I'll never go there again.
We have been customers for years, one of the first microbreweries in the area and it still holds it's own because the beer is consistently good and service is always great. Most of the time we don't come for the beer but for the food which is always masterfully prepared and delicious. Lobster Mac and Cheese always looks amazing, one of the best French Onion Soups you will ever have and of course the real reason we came, the steaks! If you have kids or just want a pizza and beer the pizza is great too. If you are not into beer try a specialty martini, you can't go wrong here.
We sat down to dinner at 8:00 pm on a Sunday. We arrived as a party of three adults and a two year old and a 6 month old. Probably a waitress s nightmare. We landed at Lindseys tables and received great service throughout our meal. I enjoyed a great prime rib. The cheese pizza the kids had was delicious. I strongly recommend Big Bear Brewing Co.
Wifes meal was great. My volcano shrimp didn't have any kick and I'm not one who likes super spicy. Went for the turkey ( yea I know turkey can get rubbery, but I did expect the chef to over come this ) meatloaf was given to my dog when I got home. Both of our garlic mash was dry.
They have been around for years - and that ain't easy in South Florida. Don't drink anymore so can't tell you about their brews, but the food is great. I love the pretzel burger. Plus they give back to the community - was at a bowling fundraiser for Abi's Place that Rotary Club of Coconut Creek put together and Big Bear was a sponsor for the auction items. Always nice to see companies give back to local community- plus the food is terrific too!
There's usually a bit of a wait, especially during prime time, but it's worth it. Even if you call in ahead, expect to wait a bit if you go on a Friday or Saturday night.
The food...where to begin. If you don't have a big appetite, stick with the appetizers or just get the beer cheese soup in a bread bowl. It's outstanding. Portions come in somewhere between generous and ridiculous. The first time I was there I ordered the beer cheese soup and the blackened ribeye sandwich, and I left literally in pain from eating too much!
A favorite is the volcano shrimp, we always get that as an appetizer. A close second is the spinach artichoke dip.
The pizzas are quite good. I often order the bistro sliders as it's a little less food than other choices (I can't eat as much as I did when I was younger!). I've had the french dip, and while it wasn't really up my alley (they serve it with pretty rare prime rib, but it's cold, with not quite enough au jus), it was still very tasty. We've had numerous other entrees there and everyone always seemed delighted with their choices.
It's a little on the spend side, but absolutely worth it.
First time dining at there and both my girl and I loved it. Great food, awesome customer service and the environment was really nice and clean. We made reservations so I suggest for you to do the same. The wait time was only fifteen minutes. Our servers name was Paul and he had a great sense of humor, which made the experience even better. The food came out really fast and delicious. Plus, their beer selection is awesome. We would definitely go back and I absolutely recommend to dine at this restaurant if you like good food, drinks and great customer service. Enjoy and have fun.
My fiance and I visited yesterday. The atmosphere in the restaurant and bar is fantastic however, we walked out. We were appalled at the high price lunch. It was ridiculous. We went down the rode in the same Plaza and ate at a comfortable restaurant for about half of the price of what it would have cost us here. You really need to rethink your menu prices. We didn't even get a chance to experience any of your food because of this. Which was a let-down. I'm only giving it to stars because the Ambiance is very good. If you rethink or reprice your menu perhaps we would come back
The food was delicious and filling. No more than you would spend on chilis or olive garden considering what you are getting. The food is A LOT for the price. 2 can eat from one plate. Go and enjoy!
So here are the pros & cons of Big Bear. Pros: The beer here is amazing. They make it at location, so it s fresh everytime. The decor is also awesome. Very relaxing. Cons: the service isn t the greatest. I came with a party of 10. The servicer came 3 times; once to ask for our drinks, once to ask for our food, & another time to drop off the check. Unknown to us gratuity was already included which made it obvious to us why they rarely came to us. THEY ALREADY GOT A TIP WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING.
We had a party of four, we each got something different then each other. The food was great . No one had anything to take home. You couldnt stop eating it was so good.
No wait for Sunday Brunch. Decided on the Blackened Ribeye. Great choice. Waitress Tiffany was the best. Awesome interaction with the kids! Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Have gone here many times. The food is always top notch. Service is excellent. I love the atmosphere, it is very warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this place.
Ordered burger medium, it was well done, only ate less then a half. Beer, fries and calamari were good. To their credit they didn't charge me for the burger. Wife and daughter had quinoa salad, it was very good.
