Great exhibition. Good coffee and very welcoming staff!
Great exhibition. Good coffee and very welcoming staff!
What a pussy only screaming children and nobody who works there speaks to them ... isn't it a playground?
Very friendly and good-looking staff and a large selection of books!
A bit old-fashioned, thought the building was modern, but it has such an old-fashioned atmosphere.
I was sent out because I was going to eat that so called but that was not the case I do not think it is possible and was abused I do not think it was possible where it was an employee
Fun and versatile exhibitions. There were many different art styles on display at the same time, which means that there is beautiful art for every taste. I myself walked in through the library section because I thought the entrance was there, but that was not the case. It is very unclear in the library where the museum is exactly. That could be a bit clearer.
Een leuke tentoonstelling over verzamelingen. En wat een mooi gebouw met een heerlijk en gezellig restaurant!
The exhibition content has been carefully put together and curated. As one of the main museums that contributes a part of its collection to contemporary jewellery it certainly deserve more attention. However there is no English translation available whatsoever and I found that quite frustrating as an international visitor. Also there's no way to access the cafe once inside the museum. Not that the space is too big that requires coffee and snack break, it would just be nice to reutilize the corridor that seems to be available at one point.
Varied exhibitions. Good coffee room with extensive selection of magazines. Museum shop sells, among other things, separate jewelry. Accessible for museum card holders.
What a nice museum. I found the Paperart expo very surprising and inventive. I enjoyed it.
The museum has recently been renovated and not everything was finished. This does not apply to the exhibition space, but only to the entrance / ed. The Paper Art exhibition was (as usual) great again, but the permanent collection (lots of jewelry) attracted us less personally. Lighting can be a little better here and there. Nevertheless, CODA remains a real asset for Apeldoorn.
Great contemporary museum in Apeldoorn. We were in the current Paper Art exhibition. The museum itself is very modern, manageable and super implemented by the conception and exhibition area. We should plan a relaxed museum tour about two hours. Through the workshops that invite you to join in and the large areas also quite a museum for the whole family. The nice, helpful staff complete the visit.
Nice exhibition about paper Art, museum cafe takes way too long. After waiting for more than half an hour to have not received any drinks, the order was canceled and drunk elsewhere. It also didn't really give the impression that they were working hard.
Very friendly welcome at the reception of Coda. The restaurant looks very cozy and beautiful (itself not used yet). The exhibition was interesting and informative, very curious about the next topic.
Welcoming, good stuff. Good options to learn Dutch - that was my question. Nice time and a bonus: an invitation to TaalHuis. Plenty of good cultural and other information. Modern place in the Apeldoorn with colourful atmosphere.
I think it's a great pity that the opening hours are shortened, and you can no longer continue studying there. In addition, the study room is a chaos by screaming children.
Nice library, good offer. However, since the youth department in the basement has been converted into a playground, with a real slide, the adult audience is encouraged to stay as short as possible. Quietly pick out some books and read is no longer there. Unless you take earplugs. CODA thinks that this is part of a new experience and if you seek peace then you should sit down in one of the study rooms. It will be, but I think that a library by definition is not a playground and that children understand that too. But that is apparently already an old-fashioned view with my 39 years of age.
Small museum with mostly jewelry. Sometimes good exhibitions. When we were there, the gentleman at the counter was on the phone for ten minutes without even saying goodbye. A lady was having a private conversation with two other ladies. She was annoyed when I was tired of waiting and asked if someone finally came to help.
It's like walking around in a children's playground here. Library is normally a nice place to read or study. But it is really difficult in this library even with headphones and earplugs. I don't easily complain about children, a little noise is part of it. But the sound reverberates up from the slide and on to the other floors. What a waste. Plenty of playgrounds, but not libraries to study or work.
This is a nice museum. Be sure to check out what exposition is currently displayed as it is not such a big museum. The lay out is pretty well thought through and the small collection of friends art work is definitely worth checking out. Plan your visit to be roughly around 1 hour to 1 hour and a half. Don't forget to like this review, if you find it helpful.
library very nice, ideal study places as the one who had thought the place a bit better .. study places directly next to the children's department, almost continuous noise from screaming and running children
I became a member of the library in Apeldoorn 1 year ago.
Unfortunately, it is a kind of childcare center with playground.
You can't just pick out a book or just sit down, it's a cacophony of screaming and playing children.
I understand that children do that, but there are other facilities for that, not in a public library anyway.
Library with a large current collection of books and extensive programming for young and old. CODA Museum is highly recommended with exhibitions such as CODA Paper Art!
You don't expect it, right in the middle of the Veluwe. Such a modern museum with such an exciting exhibition. We thought it was a great museum, with an excellent exhibition. Recommended.
An accessible museum with beautiful exhibitions and super nice, professional staff. We have cooperated with CODA Museum three times and we enjoyed it very much!
Beautiful spaces - not large but beautifully designed. The paper exhibition was very worthwhile and nicely placed in the space.
The opening hours are incorrect and that is why I now have a fine. This does not make sense. I don't recommend borrowing books from coda
The Paper Art exhibition was nice, but I think it is very bad that neither on the Coda site nor at the cash register is it stated that there is no generally accessible lift, but that a pass is required. For people who have difficulty walking (like me), the exhibition room can only be reached via a whole set of stairs (with impossible handrails). Impossible! Very strange in such a modern building.
CODA Paper Art is a wonderful exhibition! Don't miss it! This museum is a hidden jewel of contemporary art exhibits
Special museum with striking exhibitions. As far as I am concerned, presentation could be more relaxed. This certainly applies to the museum shop where beautiful jewelry by Dutch designers is sold. The way of presenting the different works is less effective. Pity.
I have never been here before, but I am sure that this is an extremely top quality museum, because here comes the reason: je suis bitalig and that is just completely cool!
Greetings bishop Jan
Geweldig ontvangen
En zeer vriendelijk
En vooral zeer goed geholpen
Wij zijn heel blij hier mee
Geweldig
Nice little museum. Check the exhibitions in advance, because the museum consists entirely of temporary exhibitions. The "Drag Power" exhibition is highly recommended.
Special building and exhibition: violence in art as well as local artists. Little mixed . Friendly welcome and good facilities.
Leuk museum. Niet alle tentoonstellingen spreken aan, maar dat is logisch.
Very expensive. Eur 10, - for a room below and small space above. Seen in half an hour. The level of the displayed was ok.
Only miss wooden children's puzzles to make and borrow
Nice accessible museum, not too big, well-arranged, with 3 rooms. MiVa toilet, 2 places and extra wheelchair also available. Multiple wheelchair parking spaces around the building, max. 3 hours. Friendly staff, you will be guided will receive a lift pass. Partner can join in for free!
Visited the museum on a Sunday. Not too busy. Easy parking in a garage across the street. There is a paper art exhibition going on till the end of October. It's nice to be able to get really close to the installations. Not handy for bringing kids who like to touch everything. There was a tour guide but we just walked around at our own paste. Also free audio tour available. There are lockers for 50 cents, you'll get your coin back. It was a good experience all together.
This is where the museum and library are together, but I go almost weekly to study. Good
Here too, payment by debit card is only possible.
Furthermore, it is nice and light everywhere and you can see things well.
Prettige plaats om te bezoeken, een mooi museum met interessante stukken en een goed restaurant met een vlotte en vriendelijke bediening
Library has a wide range, and very friendly staff. It's great that the library wants to keep it accessible for children, and she seems to have succeeded. However, it has often just become a playground. Thanks to the many open spaces, the entire building can enjoy the fun of the children. As a result, it is no longer a pleasant environment to read a book or to study. The study areas are also somewhat clumsy (just next to the children's play paradise). In my opinion, the library falls short of its fundamental purpose.
We were here a week ago.
Admission is free with a museum card.
We always select museums that can be visited free of charge with the museum card, including the CODA museum.
We did not find the reception very welcoming.
Did not receive any explanation at the reception about the exhibitions, route and layout of the museum.
The entrance ticket for the gate did not work and had to go back to the reception, where an employee walked along ..
The exhibitions did not fascinate us and were soon outside again.
Yes, tastes differ.
On the site they say they have the largest collection of contemporary jewelery in the museum. Unfortunately they hardly show anything and you are outside half an hour later. Advice: tell this a u b more clearly, now disappointing.
You don't expect it in the middle of the Veluwe. Such a modern museum with such an exciting exhibition. We thought it was a great museum with an excellent exhibition. We recommend.
Very boring expositions (July-2020), definitely not worth 20euros.
many attractions for kids even game consoles area & still quite becouse of the floors separation, museum is located in the same structure, the library is huge combined with coffee machines & (chill) restaurant
A very nice exhibition The Future Is Female Love Letters.
Although the exhibitions were certainly worthwhile, we were able to go through the 3 separate small exhibition spaces very quickly. Not immediately something to go to Apeldoorn especially for. But if you are there it is worth taking with you.
The staff is nice and helpful. Its a ling walk from train station so better ride a bicycle. The entry in the museum is free if you get a membership of Library. Very easy to get a book and return it. Student playing area also has video games and other activities along with books.
Together with my boyfriend, I had a drink at the Coda last week.
A nice quiet place, and the service is friendly.
However, there are mostly elderly people I think!
A nice library with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The study areas in the basement are pleasant to work in. What a find to make the booths low on the one hand, while you have a pleasant view.
Good center with different rooms we were here for a recording clip against bullying
