A great place to borrow books, use public computers and play chess, there is also a section for books in other languages such as Turkish, Arabic, and multiple East Asian languages.

Nice place to study. Unfortunately, there is little supervision, so there are many guests who do not belong there!

One of the most beautiful library in the Netherlands. You can also reserve meeting rooms for free, and nevertheless they have a very great amount of books to read (even different languages) and a great cafe

Love this library! Nice place to study, to grab some coffee and to enjoy the view (you can see Almere city centre through the windows on the upper floors). There are books in English for those who don't speak dutch. The architecture is a real jewel :)

Nice and modern library! Sleekly decorated and stylish.

Study spaces on the 4th floor are ideally equipped. Unfortunately, it is super-noise, because everything is made of glass and there are simply "places / spaces" next to the study filter rooms. So you can not call it really quiet / quiet / focused.

Nice library but nonsense that the letterbox is not open all day when you want to return books quickly.

Perhaps the most beautiful / fun activity in the center of Almere. Complete books and multimedia offer .... but especially the design and ambiance determine the value for the city. Fun extra activities to do every week. There is also a cinema with a nice alternative offer and a coffee bar to relax with a newspaper or magazine. Great that we have this in town.

Nice library. Wide selection of books. It is a pity that it is a hangout for young people, it seems like a community center during the day. Enforcement is hard to find, except at 19.55. Then you will be pointed very unfriendly to the door. As an employee you could also help me get that one book too quickly, that's good customer service. Then you will be home 2 minutes later. Although I am a civil servant myself, I cannot get used to over-point behavior. Especially since it only shows around closing time.

Do you honestly not understand why the toilets "are always out of use" do not feel like cleaning? Shame

Sometimes it is a pity that there are no more older books to be found. And the science fiction department contains few good books anymore. Used to be a very good department with both real sci-fi and fantasy books. Such a shame that there is nothing left of Jack Vance and Ursula leQuin.

Large library in the heart of Almere center.
Not only for books, but also games, movies and music.
Very modern look with several floors.
You just have to walk in here and then you are immediately sold and you want to view and try everything.
My experience here is superb so a recommendation for everyone.

I went to the new library last week and I was amazed by the amazing architecture, but also by how neat and orderly the books and other things are arranged, I have never been in a library for so long, bravo!

I am a big fan of this library. Very helpful people, wide collection and a wonderful place to study.

SuperSuper! I certainly come to study 3 times a week in the library. I love being here, because it is nice and quiet in the study room. The workers and even the security guards are very helpful and always welcome you with a smile! If a study book is not available, you can always read the book at the section of Windesheim. I am very happy that Almere has such a beautiful library! By the way, the ladies and gentlemen at the cafe are also great !!

New, big and modern. Lots of different spaces for every need, it even has a cafeteria and an open terrace inside.

Nice library with large collection of books, magazines and newspapers. Good movie house and fun shows. I only find the layout so confusing and unclear. Fresh air is missing. Open the doors to the inner garden and make it attractive with a coffee / juice bar with nice weather

Nice place to pick out books, can't you figure it out or are you looking for something special? The staff will be happy to assist you. They are very sweet and helpful.

A nice library. There are just too few study places and it is a shame that the opening times are so short.

When I come to Almere, I always go into the library, what a beautiful interior! Photogenic in terms of decor, colors and design.

Good library. However, I wonder how much money has been put into it. Seems to me quite an expensive location and expensive decor. Nevertheless, we always find the books again and again.

The best library in the country! What a waste and inefficient use of a multimillion euro facility to have such limited opening hours, e.g. 12-5 pm on Sundays is ridiculous, at best.

Large library, but not always ideal for study. Slightly too large noisy space. If you can sit quietly somewhere with people who are also quiet? It is definitely recommended.

Very nice library. Lots to find and if they don't have the books they are open to suggestions. There are study places on the top floor, but be there on time!

Let me start with a positive reaction first. That is that I am happy that there is a library in Almere Stad Only what I find a pity is that now you are not even allowed to use computers and printers by Corona because I have I don't have a printer myself and now I can't go to the library anymore. I find that very unfortunate and because now I can not print my important post.

It's just a shame that the silence rooms are occupied by people who do other things instead of studying. Read: gaming, calling ect..ect ... and you do not intervene if you indicate this

The library! Who would have thought that there would be such a relaxed cafe!
Good service. They are always super busy in the cafe but try to help everyone as much as possible! Wonderful coffee and yum pastries. Good place to read your newspaper or do your homework.

A wide range of different types of books, nice and quiet workplaces and nice staff!

Very nice library! Do not often need a book but if I do need something it is always there. It is nice and tidy, although the WCs are not always clean. Nice boxes to study in, but are always full.
