Personally, the best library in Modena should keep it open on Saturdays

Place with a long cultural tradition, situated in an excellent position and in a beautiful historic building. This building is the former home of the Collegio San Carlo which also gives its name to the underlying "Portici del Collegio", or also called "Vasca", hence the words "we are in the tank, we take a bath, we are under the porticoes of the College etc. ". The College, once a university college reserved for students from various parts of Italy and the whole world, is part of the San Carlo Foundation which also includes the prestigious library. Rich in volumes and cultural tradition it was and remains a prestigious meeting point for students, university students in particular, from which, from time to time, take a trip to the Bar del Collegio or under the arcades.

Memories of frequentation of this library that remains in my memories for the ability it had to make me immerse in books and magazines. Of the libraries that I attended I still have a wonderful memory in one of my tourist episodes in Modena, I had to return with devoted affection. Thank you
