Bible Teaching is a company that has been providing quality Bible-based Christian camps and retreats since 1959. The company is based in Canyonview Christian Camp, Silverton Oregon, and offers a range of camps including day camp, traditional overnight camp, horse camp, and teen camp. The summer camps are week-long while the fall, winter, and spring camps are comprised of weekend camps and two-week long horsemanship camps over New Years and Spring Break.
At Bible Teaching, we believe that every individual should have access to quality Christian education. Our mission is to provide an environment where individuals can grow spiritually while having fun at the same time. We believe that our programs offer a unique opportunity for individuals to connect with God in a meaningful way.
Our day camp program is designed for children aged 5-12 years old who want to experience the joy of summer camp without staying overnight. Our traditional overnight camp program is perfect for children aged 7-17 years old who want to experience all the fun activities that come with summer camping such as swimming, hiking, archery among others.
For those who love horses or want to learn how to ride one; our horseback riding program offers an opportunity for individuals aged 8-17 years old to learn how to ride horses while also learning about God's love through daily devotions.
Our teen program caters specifically for teenagers aged between 13-17 years old who want an immersive experience in their faith journey. This program includes activities such as rock climbing wall challenges among others.
We understand that parents may be concerned about their child's safety when they attend our programs; therefore we have put measures in place such as background checks on all staff members before they are hired. Additionally we have trained medical personnel on site during all programs so you can rest assured your child will be well taken care of during their stay.
