Bhuddha Belly Buffet Resturant Review

First of my little brother had to take a day of school because he felt sick and had diarrhoea from all the bad food here... honestly it s disgusting I wouldn t eat here again if u paid me! Also one of the staff members was a little indian man that wouldn t stop flirting with my 17year old cousin! On top of that all the other staff was extremely rude and it was as if they didn t want to work there x

Food was cold, chicken had bones in and the duck and pancake rolls were chucked in one pot with a dried up bit of cabbage at the bottom. When we explained to the waiter our situation he basically told us that we decided to come at the time we came so it s our problem which is nonsense.

The owner didn t seem bothered about how we felt as he d much rather get one of his colleagues to run back and forth doing his (Job) whilst he sit back and count all the earnings he s made.

DO not recommend this place as if u do you ll be like myself, 18 quid out of pocket and currently on the toilet with projectile diarrhea

Bit disappointed as I'd heard rave reviews about this place. Went at 9pm on Saturday & I cant say I was impressed with the buffet range, very few starters & those that were available were a bit dry as though they'd been there for a while & not a great choice of mains unless you prefer curry, I thought there would be a slightly bigger chinese selection.

Also had to suffer 4 lots of the bongo drums whilst birthday cakes were brought out.

Great lovely experience excellent customer service. Its under new management much better. Food is amazing.

Nothing phenomenal with the food. Customer service is very good, but the food itself needs a revamp. The curries are sickly, and most of the food are drenched in too much cooking oil.

The food here is not amazing and the service can be slow at busy times. However, you get what you pay for and if you have a large appetite you will more than get your money's worth. Good variety available so there should be something for everyone.

The food here was very good, the Tia green curry was really good. Cocktails were very slow and a little weak we thought. Mid week not that many people but very varied groups and people seamed to have a good. We'll visit again.

I spent three hours here when I was attending someone's birthday party last year, food was good and there's a lot of travel links.

Unbearable when the weather is warm, it was really hot in the restaurant. Our kids were so restless!

What a wonderful experience! Just on my way home after spending the afternoon at Bhudda kitchen. We booked the restaurant to celebrate our dad's birthday. We invited over 30 guests. The food was delicious, such a wide variety of dishes - something for everyone. The service was excellent, helpful and attentive staff who served us with genuine interest. The toilets were modern and clean - impressive. The manager complimented us on the conduct of the group. I would like to compliment him for making our day special. Highly recommended.

We had a pre-booked table. There was no one to greet us when we walked in. We had to ask at the counter for our table and they made us to wait almost 30 minutes to find a table. Table menus took ages to arrive. We felt we had to prompt the staff for everything. Generally the food was just ok. Overall a disappointing experience.

Food was great and they had a belly dancer too. Great night out for the family

Food was just disgusting, some of the dishes tasted and felt like it was sitting there for ages, grated cheese was left outside for so long that it was so hard,
+ loads of dishes were empty, but still paid full amount, maybe it was a good idea in order not to try more horrible dishes !

Ended up forcing myself to vomit after eating as felt disgusted with the food

This restaurant was recommended by a work colleague, finally I caved in and decided to go, well I wasn't disappointed so much choices of food these consist of Indian, Italian,Chinese, Mexican and if you could handle it dessert this is a buffet type restaurant with no limits however book in advance I was lucky

Thought some of the dishes were not very hot I think service charge is a bit as you are serving yourselves could have had more variety as many of the food was similar

Friendly staff but the food was a big let down. Half the trays were empty, what was there had no flavour. Maybe we were unlucky with our timing as there are alot of good reviews.

Sorry but it's not a nice place I went there for the first time with my grandson and the food was so bad he didn't eat a thing I won't be eating there again

Been there a few times. Good choice of food and drinks. Customer service could be improved as some of the waiters don't speak good English and don't pay enough attention when someone wants to call them over to the table. 10% charge is optional, so previous reviewer is wrong. It even says so on the bill. Will come back again.

Visited for the first and last time. Food is terrible, manager is extremely rude, no manners, no class, no respect.

The staff do NOT want to be there. An ex-employee informed me of various of minimum wage violations. Please spend your money elsewhere, the despicably inane and greedy manager does not deserve it.

I don t usual leave reviews, but this place was vile I just had to. I pointed out to one of the chefs that the peppers were rotten and had a terrible smell, he told me I was wrong, he washed them put them back out. I mentioned to another member of staff what had happened and he started shouting at me that I was saying it because I didn t want to pay. Needless to say we paid and left, some of the staff are so rude and they justified this was because of the language barrier. In my opinion, you shouldn t have staff who cannot speak and understand basic English in that kind of role.

Great choice of different world cuisines. Tasted good and staff were friendly and attentive. Would have been 5 stars but some of the chicken had the odd bit of gristle. Will be coming back.

I have been there with my wife and friends. Plenty of food and you can help yourself as much as you want.

We came to have lunch today but the food was pathetic. Chicken cold and have a bad smell. Rice hard and sweet mixed in it. We were so hungry and the food make us nauseated. Pizza was not there, on requesting they made a tasteless pizza. We complained but the staff was reluctant and not helpful.

Great atmosphere and loads to choose from. Can never get bored of this place.

Fab food great place for a chance to taste difference tastes and flavours. Great for groups as it caters for meat eaters,veggies and the vegans. Perfect choices.

Visited this restaurant on Monday 8 October with my sister. Great food and good value. The restaurant has recently changed management and has improved greatly. If you have not visited in a while it is worth a return visit. Friendly and efficient staff.

Don t go here worst service ever understaffed and inexperienced . The food was so bad I only eat the plain cheese pizza. im so disappointed.

All the food was very bland. Some dishes like the lasagna were cold. Breads and cakes had obviously been left out too long as had gone stale. The chicken nuggets and chips were the only thing they seemed to have got right. Very expensive for such a substandard meal.

Phoned up in advance to book a table and ask if they accepted card payments. Was told yes and got my table. When I arrived at the restaurant there was a sign on the door saying we accept credit and debit cards so was happy. Upon entering I was told that they DON'T accept cards. I explained that I had Rd and was told yes it wouldn't be a problem. phoned and was told I could use my card. Another guy said yes it would be fine so was shown to a table. Then after a minute or two a third guy came to the table telling me they wasn't gonna let me use my card and I had to go get cash from a machine. At this point I gave up as obviously this was just a tax scam and they wanted cash to do a dodgy Vat scam or something.
But to check I phoned up about an hour and a bit later and asked if I could bring a group of ten people in with a company credit card and was told yes.
Would not recommend at all. Service was horrendous but didn't try the food.

I did not expect this despite short notice booking...the food n facilities are neat n tasty . .lovely staff n a plus for children under 5 going in free unlike some other places.

Went as a group of 12 had a wonderful time, staff brilliant varied menu you suited all tastes has just changed hands no more hidden service charges! And we were able to tip the staff who we felt deserved it rather than the management taking all the tips!

During our visit the staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was OK, not all to my taste, but unlike traditional restaurant, here you can try a bit of everything before filling your plate with something you really liked. Would recommend. But avoid visiting it too often, it's really hard not to overeat :)

Went Wednesday night for a work farewell. It was a good place for that. Being buffet style there is something for everyone, and the choice is wide, curries, oriental, pizzas. The sort of food you'd expect in serve yourself buffets. Desserts are cheerily school dinner choices, with a help yourself ice cream pump. Not cheap cheap, but certainly not expensive. None of this is sophisticated. Not for a romantic meal with a sensitive soul. But with a good crowd/friends, this could be a good place.

What a wonderful experience mum and I had this evening at Buddha Kitchen. The staff are so welcoming and respectful. The choice was excellent and we were both able to try things that we hadn't had before. Nothing was too much trouble and our waiter said goodbye with a kiss. Well done.

Just been with my 3 mates the food was cold also had a fly in our drink had loads of empty food trays. Had to tell staff to restock them. the ice cream machine is more like a milk machine. came to pay and the owner took charge and made sure full amount was paid and never said a word as he took our money not even a sorry about the food being cold and all the miss happs though out our time there. for the cost of the food and a drink plus service charge could of went to a better establishment and had a better meal AVIOD

Really fine place. Variety of food from different cusines around the world makes you come back to try another one.

The food is good, with many different styles to choose from. The ice-cream, cakes and puding tastes like they were bought from Iceland.

No food in trays what food was there was cold feet were sticking to the floor carpets filthy and toilets a death trap should be closed down and reopened by a crew that know what they are doing it s not safe to eat cold chicken and meats ( disgusting)

Never going back don't get me wrong some of the food was nice but when I found mild on my jelly I was told the weather made it go off which I find extremely hard to believe. Never go here

Amazing value, and food is excellent. Waiting staff a little slow, and desserts selection is limited and not so tasty. Ice cream machine is popular with the rest of my family.

The staff were friendly and very accommodating, the food was amazing...really good cuts of meats and everything was cooked perfectly. The selection was really good, definitely will be going back again!
