Bhabha Atomic Research Center: A Pioneer in Nuclear Science and Technology
The Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI) is an Indian deemed university established by the Department of Atomic Energy, which unifies academic programmes. The institute is named after Dr. Homi Jehangir Bhabha, who was a renowned physicist and the founding father of India's nuclear programme. The Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC) is one of the premier research institutions under HBNI that has been at the forefront of nuclear science and technology for over six decades.
