It offers good history introductions. The steel stack itself is huge, and good for tourist.

Beautiful place to walk around and appreciate the people that were the back bone of our country!
So much History is here! Fun to walk around especially during Musikfest!
The rusted old blast furnace stack are nothing but an eyesore in the background. Whoever rates this place 5 does not get out much. It is just a testament to a failed time gone by. Thats why the Sands bailed out of town.
I love the diversity here. Lovely building's inside and out. Food is a bit pricey but understandable due to the area. Huge parking lot, about a block from the main building but just the site alone and history is worth it. Also the burners are beautiful and the fire display. Great for all ages
Hearth wrenching experience,... to feel the true American resolve at the turn of the century........is earth moving
Seen Godsmack here this weekend was my first concert here......Nice and security was great
Very cool looking place! I did not go to shop, only to check out the architecture and all the industrial trappings left behind. The gardens are lovely and beautifully maintained. I love seeing plants slowly take over man-made structures.
Cars and coffee every month is one of the highlights there, beautiful place to visit
Went for the Christmas thingy .... had a blast and did some great shopping too
Really neat seeing these as you come down the hill from the college. Starting to look pretty old and rusted though
Perfectly sized venue for a more intimate concert. Menu could have been a bit more varied, but service was prompt and waitress was attentive. We will definitely be back!
I love this place. Especially in the summer for the free outdoor concerts. They also have a great venue for indoor shows too. We saw Carl Palmer a few months ago and it was great.
Great place to hold a venue & explore the historic location. Vet Fest was awesome. Good food & service. Met very nice people today as well. Also happy to see hundreds come out & watch the womens US Soccer team on the jumbo screen. Friendly people, excellent environment.
Nice venue...
Experience depends on event...
Saw Hippo Campus at Musikfest cafe. Great experience, the venue was neat, service was great, view of the Bethlehem stacks overall great night. Food is decent and the drinks are standard prices for a music venue. Would definitely go back.
Excellent. I am amazing what this town has done to ensure buisness stays local by reinventing the now closed steel mill. This is what every town should aspire to do. I saw a great concert at the multipurpose entertaining center.
A very beautiful and interesting place! Rich in history. It's great that the story continues. But already in art. The quarantine restrictions on visits would rather end. I would like to know more. I would like to see more.
Very interesting tour! Our tour guide John Landis was very, very knowledgeable and led a great tour. Devote about 90 minutes for everything. They play a short movie in the beginning and then it is on with the tour.
Always a super cool place to visit. Go check out the buildings and history, as theres a giant walkway around the blast furnaces and plaques with tons of great info on the mill. If you're interested in learning more, definitely check out some of the material PBS39 has produced about it. I didnt know Bethlehem Steel had a world famous soccer team! Anyway, tons of history and a cool place to visit.
Went for Octoberfest and it was beautiful and so well put together with a sweet backdrop.
Unique music. Get there early for free music nights to set up your chair in a decent spot. Take the time to walk the stacks and take in the history. Expensive beer and food.
Beautiful night of music . very interesting/ romantic place, and it was free.
First time at Musikfest! Had a great time seeing Steve Miller!
First time here for the Christkindlmart. I was expecting something really different. Have to pay to enter and have to pay for everything else. Everything here was priced very high. Lots of hand crafted items i really didnt care for. It was still light out so i didnt see the lights like they show in the pictures.
Brings back a lot of good memories of my 15 years in the Iron Foundry, fresh out of high school. (The stone walls/archways) still stand.
A pedestrian catwalk allows you to get up close and examine what remains of the Bethlehem Steel plant. Absolutely fascinating!
Really cool area! Very informative and a great way to reuse and preserve those buildings.
This is a super cool place to see at night. Wish I would've had time to see it during the day and go into the museum.
The buildings look old, rusty and historic. There s a nice visitors center where they have a few exhibits. They also have a Christkindl market there during the holidays.
We went there when it was cold outside. Lots of indoor small stores and shops, but very crowded indoors. I mostly stayed outside in the cold watching a guy do an ice sculpture. Paid $5 for little more than a cup of hot cider. Went inside to get food, and many of the food lines were long. Food is expensive. Paid $3.50 for 20oz coke. Would be interested in going back during the spring/summer events.
Good local place, the old steel factory is worth seeing, they have a good combination of relaxing things to do there, food, drink, movies, shows...
Very interesting place. A LOT of history. I didn't do a movie or show, I was there for the Runner's World Half festival. But the area is active and interesting.
Went to a free concert on Saturday night- The Graceland Tribute Band. What a terrific show! You could tell that the audience really loved it, and the night was absolutely perfect. The facility and the seating are perfect for an outdoor concert. Ample free parking, access to food and drink and a marvelous show. What more could you ask?
Beautiful place. Historical places. Former steel mill.
Fun show with good space to dance. Not the best acoustics. The drinks were reasonably priced for this type of venue. I did not try the food.
Went with my sister on a cold day. Guess I gotta come when the weather is nicer. Would've loved to walk around a little more. The bathroom wasn't open so we had to use another. Still stunning place. Will go back for the concerts in the future. Love to see historical places & enjoyed the sculptures outside. Definitely a must see!
Went to the Chriskindalmart. Nice shopping and music and food. Steel Stacks look really interesting next time I'd like to take the tour.
Great catwalk with a lot of local history. Very hot in the sun, so be prepared in the summer. Cool events going on around the location all the time
A little part of history in an area that has been cleaned up nicely and appeals to visitors.
Great day at the stacks of B'hem! Really fun experience with the family. Neat history and background to appreciate the USA's previous world industrial dominance.
Amazing place if you are a photographer. So many interesting views, angles, textures, and contrasts to capture, and the mood changes with the light. Plus, easy access to other venues and events. Convenient parking as well and a variety of food options within a few blocks.
This place such an aesthetic vibe that can't be recreated its so dark and dank but open and strong definitely a must see in that part of pa. Great for photographers.
Very nice place. Only have been there one time, but it was enjoyable. It is NOT attached or affiliated with the Sands casino. We had been under the impression it was attached to the casino (nothing SteelStacks did, it was outside individuals).
The wife loves Xmas shopping here at christindlemarket
Fun place, great arts center there now, it's neat to see how steel was made back in the day, seeing the factories. You can walk around the outside now.
WOW!!! What a place of historical significance for our country!!!
The steel stacks is a great place to sit and relax while having the option to learn something new. Wish I had pictures of the place at night. It's pretty amazing.
Just such a wonderful Beaity of historical preservation to be appreciated.
Great place, went there for the fourth time. They keep improving this place, now added pink amd blue led illumination. This place is still partially closed due to covid, you cannot go up to stairs but possible to walk on the ground, they are adding Christmas village there.
You really have to see this place. Pictures can't do this place justice. When you look at the remnants of hard work, it's actually bone chilling. You can tell people must have worked really hard at these places and you can also tell a lot of these people probably got injured or died just trying to build this magnificent work of steel. Go see it, it's a remarkable place to see.
Amazing local landmark. One of the last remaining remnants of Bethlehem Steel Corp
Closed to the public. Despite the indoor museum being open to the public. Its one of those once in a lifetime things that I wasted time and money attempting to see.
Our guide Kathy was very personable and informative. It was amazing to see the stacks up close and to find out all the facts of this once great industry. Cheap eats are limited, the "visitor center" is of minimal interest. Don't miss the movie, it has a great amount of info worth hearing. More eating choices, and a larger visitor info center would be nice.
Had a fun and interesting tour of PBS39 with our students. Thanks to all for the warm welcome
Cool place. Keep in mind if you're exploring there can be strong winds and no place to hide. Movie theater and casino close by, but I came for what essentially are ruins of an America that was alive not more than 30 years ago.
We were visiting family and went to see the steelstacks where they filmed part of Transformers 2. It turned out to be a great place to learn about an important part of history. The kids loved it and it was nice to see the view of the city from the stacks. Would love to visit again when we come back, especially at night to see the lights and entertainment.
They have some great concerts & special events like Musikfest & Christkindkemart.
great food. great entertainment. great beer. plenty of vendors. games galore for adults and children. two days left for Oktoberfest so go if you can. entry is free.
Wonderful free outdoor concerts during season. Helpful and kind volunteers and employees. Music was great. Thank you Steel Stacks!
Great slice of American industrial past/nice venue for town events
A very neat place to check out. Lots of history to learn and see here. Also there is a Christmas market that resides here in the December (Christkindlmarkt)
Nice place to get some knowledge on how constructions done in century ago and how steel plants worked.
We love the Steelstax! Whether taking in a movie, a concert or an outside concert at Levitt pavilion, We always have a great time! Very clean, good food and drinks, and the staff is always cheerful and helpful!
Impressive display of the past Bethlehem Steel foundry.
Started in the late 1800 the steel processing factory closed in 1995 leaving a 10 acres lot marked by the colossal steel furnaces that are still up today.
Take a stroll and learn about the steel process reading the detailed info placards along the way.
Great bands, many free shows, fun place.to be especially in the evening. Also, lots.of good shows all year inside.. The stacks.look great at night.
Cool area to see and be educated by some of the original steel workers. Taking the tour is worth the time and money.
Incubus and the revivalists were amazing love musikfest at the steel stacks
It is a great piece of history, and I'm glad it's being kept up. While the Steelstacks are still no longer in use and are all rusted, somehow the metal giant has some beauty in it. The area surrounding it is now used for public events every so often, and us a good place to get things like Mike and Ike's and Peeps, at least if you nab them during New Years Eve (I'm not sure if they sell them all year in this location.)
Awesome AND historic! Intimate music venue inside along with outdoor music areas.
I went to this location for a camera shoot the stacks illuminated by various timed colored lights. At night it gives you good opportunity to play with your camera. Across would be music concert venues and if you go at night when something is going on you to take pictures of the stacks you can also listen to the music in the background. there are tables out in front street side to sit at as well as food vendors within the ground floor of the building.
So fun to go here and just walk around the area. I recommend visiting the national museum of industrial history, as it is very close by.
Beautiful place with just the movie we wanted to see!
Very cool how they've turned the old steel factory into a place of interest. Great outdoor seating area and stage, excellent walking path, free parking, and an actual movie theater & bistro directly across from the factory. Great photo ops here too! Worth your time to stop and take a look around.
Reminiscent of the highline in Manhattan. Awesome way of preserving architecture!
If you re anywhere near Pittsburgh, check out this old steel mill. It s hard to fathom what used to happen on a daily basis at the plant
Eastern Pennsylvania's fortunate to have such an amazing music venue. With dozens of music acts coming each year many of which are free.
I loved it. Absolutely loved it. If you ever find yourself in Bethlehem PA this is a must see attraction. Make sure you get a guided tour - the old steelworkers have some excellent stories to tell.
Great spot for all kinds of festivals and has a lot of history behind it.
Just such an amazing place!!! Takes your breath away!!
It was great to hear and see live music again. Food and service were both really good. They have more shows this month so get out and enjoy.
Very impressive construction from around WWII era, free to walk through.
Went to see Rubix Kube with our friends great time
So cool! It's like walking around the sunken remains of a gigantic ship. Except there are info plaques everywhere. And you can, you know, breathe.
Went to see a viewing of It's a wonderful Life. Then to Chriskindkemart Great time
The steel stacks are a must for anyone visiting the area. A Well documented walking tour of American engineering at its finest. No whitewashing though, the struggles of labour vs corporate greed are on display as well. Additionally this is a great example of the rebirth of the rust belt that is so important for these forgotten communities.
