They have popular performers, but it's NOT a listener-friendly atmosphere. Lots of people drinking and hanging out at free events, not really there to listen. At paid events in cafe there is a food minimum & wait staff is running around during the show - very distracting. SteelStacks, MusikFest is mostly interested in making money.

There's no other place like it. Great music all summer long and also during Fall and indoors in the Winter. Food prices are reasonable, but drinks are too expensive. $7. for a 16 oz draft of domestic beer is not ok for me. $5.- $5.50 is more then enough. Up the street at the "Pub" it's $3. - 3.50.l

I remember Bethlehem Steel when it was active. Happy to see the property is being put to such good use for the public. Vet Fest was going on this weekend. Good time for a great cause. Support your local Nam Knights of America MC. KFFK

What used to be an abandoned steel mill has been transformed into one of the most influential commercial and social centers in the area. A testament to what a little investment and proper allocation of resources can do to a dilapidated part of town.

Great venue, super easy to get to from New Jersey a lot less crowded than New York and not as far as Philly. They don't seem to book acts that are really big though mostly cover bands or tribute bands. A better booking agent would make this place amazing. Also right next to the sands casino

Good for concerts but they should allow lawn chairs for all events/concerts. Not all events allow lawn chairs, etc. Read the rules for certain events carefully before you purchase tickets if you cannot stand for a long period of time. They have concrete blocks for seating in the back but you almost have to stand for the concerts to see the performers. If you want to sit on the blocks, I suggest that you arrive early.

Great historic day trip if your local. Only bad thing i have to say about both times my wife and i went, were the people loitering in the stairways around the blast furnace observatory decks. Alot of "out of towners(asian decent i believe, not that it really matters) who were rude and couldnt understand or speak english".

They've much-improved it over time the walkway right next to the old Steel factory is amazing. I've always wanted to get this close and they just recently put this structure up where you can walk right next to the furnace and see the actual iron or still on the ground. They have a couple of old Hopper trains still in place from when they were in operation. It's so cool everything just stopped in time.

Great music venue. Saw Santana here and the sound was great. No issues parking. Plenty of places to eat in walking distance or at the venue. The lines and prices were not too bad. The scene with the steel stacks and warehouses there is just amazing. The only downside was tight seating. Forget about getting up regularly to use the bathroom or anything.

I've driven by the venue a few times but never actually saw a concert there. I was pretty blown away. What a unique backdrop for a concert venue. The food wasn't too crazy price wise and you were able to get pretty close to the stage. I wouldn't hesitate if you saw a concert you were interested in. I'm looking forward to going back again.

Site of the Bethlehem Steel plant, a major part of the facikity still stands and a walkway is immediately next to it to see the old machinery with descriptions of the processing of steel. Guided tours are also available and during warmer weather they have open air events on stage.
If you like history and industrial equipment, this is right down your alley.

Impressive site to visit. It's sobering that these now rusted steelstacks & factory was once bustling with steel workers. This steel factory help shape the New York skyline & build the famous golden gate bridge. I'd like to come back & take the tours they offer.

An interesting look into a past industry. A nice walk with lifts available if required. Plenty of informative and visual guides along the walk outside the old factories. Free car parking was also available beside it. We went close to the end of the day so it did look spectacular in the dying light. If you're afraid of heights, avoid taking the stairs down at the end, as you can see through the metal.

There is always something happening at the Steelstacks. With convenient parking and clean facilities, it is a great place to go, no matter the occasion. It s also really great to simply walk around.

Awesome repurposing! Parking and signage for events is not great but the inside event spaces are awesome. Very hard to locate Musikfest Cafe for first timer in the dark. Could have walked from the hotel the same distance as from the event parking area.

I visited Steel Stacks on our way to Musikfest and still in awe of the vast remnants where Bethlehem Steel once existed and happy they left the skeleton site for public to enjoy.
At night, the spotlights highlight the stacks and it looks eerily beautiful.
I saw people trekking up steps along one building.
Great history there especially that I just read the book "30 years under the Beam", a history of BS by 25+ workers telling their side of the story to local author/worker.

This is a really interesting landmark of Bethlehem. Unfortunately, there's only so much you can walk around and there's nothing like a tour guide. There is a big visitor center with a lot of information and a short movie you can watch.

I have attended several events at SteelStacks over the years. I have enjoyed almost all the events from car shows to jazz shows.

The car events where huge with lots of custom and classic vehicles. One of the events was Cars & Coffee held a few times throughout the summer. Sometimes they have themes.

I have attended several types of jazz shows. Some were paid events and some were free events. You would have to check out their site or on going event pages for dates.

I have also attended festivals and fairs.

The Steel Stacks are a wonderful place to visit to see the history there. The steel for the twin towers and the globe at worlds fair in Queens NY came from this historical landmark! Visit it, it's quite an experience!!!

In what can only be described as an excellent attempt to save a piece of History, this is a building an association that saved at least part of the once-great Bethlehem steel foundry from destruction. There is a walk along the old iron ore tracks, and you can still see the pellets falling down onto the ground. The lightning is stellar and if you go after dusk, you're in for a treat. It is right next to the casino if you choose to gamble later on. Parking is ample, and it's quite safe.

Had a few of the local bartenders tell me I should check this place out since I was from out of town. Definitely was not disappointed! The sheer size of this old steel plant is amazing. They even host a massive music festival here every year.
