Beyond books, the library has a great selection of video, music and devices to borrow such as telescope, gopro. The library ownes a 3d printer which is great to learn. The building is a great place for community meetings and to study. The kids section is awesome and the staff provide excellent advices.
Good library. Great kids programs. I would like for them to do prepacked grab and go bags for young kids, but that program is already through the schools.

I love this library, they have great workers who go above and beyond to make sure you have what you are looking for. They always have great books, and great services.
Great selection of books, horrible staff. The staff there are cookie cutter sweets of the worse of government employed stereotypes - superficially employed elitists, condescending, disdainful of action; the Head Librarian, Gordon, somebody's pet always begging for a leash or treat; Geoffrey Kirkpatrick, the Director, a dispensary of dispensations. Its a shame that they service such a lovely town that way. Great books though!
Fast, free Wi-Fi. Large comfortable library with a good selection of books with many more available through inter-library loan. You need to be a Bethlehem resident to get a library card however they accept library cards from any Upper Hudson library.

Amazing Library, great place to work, but I can sense how conceited and elitist the staff is. I guess they are in positions for life there. This being one of the highest income areas in NY outside the downstate region, many people have a greater than thou attitude. Maybe that is a good thing, they run a very tight ship. Maybe one needs to adopt that attitude to become great.
Years ago as a nanny I would bring the little ones here and they always had such a great time. Since I live in another county, I no longer frequent this location however, today I called to find out how I could pick up a book that was not available for pick up at my local libraries, and a super helpful, patient, professional and kind person named Maggie went above and beyond to help me. The library team at Delmar is wonderful, and I wanted to give them that acknowledgment that is so well deserved.
You can't survive the isolation of a pandemic without a good library! Town of Bethlehem residents are particularly blessed to have our library of outstanding resources, the latest technological supports, and knowledgable staff. I used to come here and play on the computer, look at the fish, play with the puzzles, look at magazines, and check out videos.

the smart board room is so fun and i go there at least 5 days a week
If it weren't for people waiting and on their cell phones...it would have been better! But very easy to get in and out.
Good library. They don't reserve study rooms, so getting one can be tricky when the library is busy. The study room with the smartboard is cool. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly.
it is one of the most amazing memori in my life. i often go to Wiliam library in Colonie and I found some information on other library. Finally I decided to go to Bethlehem public library to join traveling zoo event on Saturday. it was my first time to get there and I got surprised a lot. I will go there again and thanks for great event. my baby was pretty happy to see a goat and a bunny there.
A wonderful gathering place with great selection and kind, knowledgeable staff.
If you have a kid with autism, this library doesn t welcome you. You either get dirty looks from staff members or they would tell you to your face to leave and maybe try to come back later.
