I haven't stayed in other hotels in Lone Pine to compare, but this hotel is great. The rooms are large, very large. The bathroom is the largest I have ever seen in hotel of such a type, It was ready for people with disabilities, that could be the reason. The breakfast was delicious. They have HBO and Cinemax if you want to watch a movie. They even have wireless phone charger on the night stand. The view in the morning awesome.

Great little motel in Lone Pine, CA. Staff was friendly and accommodating for our truck and trailer. Lots of great views and breakfast was included. Just had to order and pick up 5 minutes later.
If you are in the area there is a great dirt road loop up through the Alabama Hills and down to the old Japanese Internment Camp. It starts at the light in the middle of town and looked to be car friendly when I rode it.

Great little motel. Friendly staff... Right next to the little Lone Pine Airport. Clean, quiet, good breakfast. Beautiful view of the Owens Valley and of Mount Whitney. I will definitely be back. Rooms were named after the actors in the western movies

What a nice find! This place felt like it was more than a business, it felt cared for. The rooms were clean, the bathroom was large and the driveway had recently been sealed and striped ... Just one of those touches that indicates this is more than just a property, it's a passion. I really appreciated the qi charging clock, one less thing I needed to unpack! I very much appreciate that they have adopted a method to provide guests with a hot breakfast despite Covid. Many businesses have used Covid as a reason to withhold services, but not here. I like when I see a business reinvesting in itself and it seems clear they are doing just that. Would love staying here again if I am out this way.

Exceeded our Expectations!

Exceeded our Expectations!
Our stay exceeded our expectations. Our handicap room was spacious with a nice roll in shower. Beds extra comfy and the complimentary breakfast was a REAL breakfast with so many yummy choices. A generous window of time for breakfast and good coffee sent us on our way with the warm fuzzies for Best Western Frontier!!!.

This is a gem in Lone Pine. Right on the edge of town, accessible but not in the traffic. There is a million dollar view the the east and west. For my purpose, photography, this location is perfect. There are ideal destinations each direction. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is professional. It's on my repeat visit plan.

Stayed a night after a trip to the Death Valley NP. The room is clean and beds are comfortable. The mountains scenery around the place is beautiful. My 5 star is for this establishment in taking the extra efforts to provide hot breakfast (order from you room and pick up), which many hotels don t during COVID-19. Thank you!

I dont normally stay at motels when I travel, and usually stay at business type hotels, Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, non-motel Best Westerns, etc, but I ended up choosing this hotel to try something different (like I did with an old hotel up in Alturas the night before), and I was very pleasantly surprised how nice the hotel was. The room I had was a little small, but very nice and looked like it was recently remodeled. While the room was a little on the small side, the bathroom was huge, and everything about the hotel was very clean and looks like its a well maintained property. The breakfast is made to order and quite good, and the staff is very friendly. I will be more than happy to stay here again on a future trip. Only downside is that the hotel ran out of bottled water in the vending machines and did not have any at the lobby, so you may want to bring your own, especially if the weather is warm. The sodas, on the other hand in the vending machine, only cost $1.00 and are very cold. Overall excellent old-school type motel in extremely good shape...highly recommend if in the area.

Great breakfast! Great location! Unlike other hotels, the BW is still offering HOT breakfast. You simply call your order in and then get a call back when it s ready for pickup. The hotel is just a few minutes from the spectacular Alabama Hills trails, with great views of Mt. Whitney. Will definitely stay here again.

It was a nice 3 night stay for visiting Alabama Hills and other nearby attractions before heading to Death Valley. It was quiet with a great snowy mountain view. For breakfast, you can call ahead and pick it up. They have eggs, pancakes, toast, yogurt, milk, fruit. We also brought our own avocados and tomatoes to make it a full breakfast sine we are vegetarian. The town is nearby, so you can go to a restaurant or the market but check their business hours, some of them close early. In a remote town like this I would say the accomodations were pretty good. The room has a fridge and a microwave, but the fridge was set to maximum which froze and ruined some of our food. The setting is in the back, and I believe housekeeping turns it on so I suggest checking the setting before putting your food. There are enough electric plugs, 2 USB ports, and one qi wireless charger (for phones like Pixel 4) and free WIFI.
