The food had gotten less interesting over the years. We went for a 50th b-day. We were told that they aren't allowed to do anything nice for birthdays and such bc the owners are Jehovah witness. Weird.

Beso de Arte remains our favorite restaurant in Colorado. The food and drink, the atmosphere, and the service are top quality. We recommend it to all our friends without reservation. What a treasure this place is!

Oh boy. Great little spot in Morrison. Very surprised in the quality and taste of food. It's an awesome little spot with a friendly staff. Get the crab empanadas. Also...make sure you sit outside on a nice day. Great patio.

My wife and I love Beso de Arte. We love everything about it--the food, atmosphere, service, and prices. They also give back to the community. This weekend we attended a fundraiser there. The owner donated the whole restaurant for a Saturday night, including food, drinks and staff to help raise money. It was wonderful and it further solidified our appreciation for this great restaurant and small business. Don t let the less-favorable reviews mislead you away from this gem. Disappointment motivates some folks more than contentment to write a restaurant review. We feel differently.

Honestly we had a bad experience here today. The music was so loud it was hard to have a conversation. I asked the real skinny waitress if she would turn it down and a shaggy haired middle aged guy (Ryan?) just shrugged it off and left it loud. So the beastie boys yelled at us during our brunch haha. He was also the one who seated us and must had been having a bad day because he had some serious attitude. The family next to us had the same complaints as we both chatted in the parking lot on the way out. I ve been here before and loved it, but I don t think we ll be back. If the owner reads these I would definitely have a phone call and discuss what happened. Totally unacceptable.

We love this place! The food is delicious; we've tried just about everything on the menu and love it all! The patio is the best around and they'll even give you a blanket if you get chilly sitting outside in the evening. And the staff is always welcoming and friendly.

TOTALLY TASTY! Loved dinner here. The guacamole was excellent with blue corn tortilla chips. The top shelf margarita was yummy, however, I personally prefer a frozen margarita but the bar "does not have a blender" which seems really strange. The $22 Rojo al Molcajete and the alternate Verde version were both excellent and clearly the signature dishes here. They are serve in large lava rock bowls and are pretty to look at. The outdoor deck seating is also wonderful with a waterfall creek that adds to the atmosphere. Definitely highly recommended!

Really good selection and fantastic food. We had the pumpkin soup, the crab empenadas and the black bean tostadas. Nice interior with stone and tile. Feels elegant but also laid back like a pub. They have a patio as well, good location.

Person identifying himself as general manager- Les Gomez- was rude and confrontational... attempted to pick a fight with me because I moved an electric candle from another table for a child at my table to play with. After I very calmly put the candle back, he stared at me like a maniac from behind the bar. After that, he blew his stack again because I let my kid stand on the landing by the doorway. There was no reason for any of his hostility - the restaurant was empty and it's obvious why. This terrible person is a 50yo male with dark, close-cropped hair and has light olive skin. Stay away.

Lots of beautiful house plants to choose from, and a cute little gift shop. They have everything from loose leaf tea, to crystals and gems, to fun art decor, and environmentally friendly bath products.

Great Place, Great and UNUSUAL food. Nice outdoor seating areas are a great place to enjoy a winter outdoor dinner, with a fireplace nearby, or a Spring, Summer or Fall lunch, enjoying the Colorado Mountain Sunshine, all the Morrison and Red Rocks traffic and Concert Goers, and a rushing river or a private cave for your group! Ask any one of our guests, and/or we and our staff, the Food has always been great and did not disappoint!

We have eaten at Beso's many times in the past year, since moving to the area. The service is consistently excellent (attentive and friendly, but not intrusive). The drinks are well-executed, the wine list offers a solid selection and fair pricing. The food is creative, fresh, and delicious. This is why we choose to go to Beso's often. And Les and Janet are the best!

Strong recommendation to go. Called for to request a reservation for 6pm on Tuesday. He said they closed in the 6pm hour. I thought I misunderstood and said "6pm?" And he said "in case you haven't heard there's a world-wide pandemic right now." I said, "you don't need to shame me like that, I thought I misunderstood you." To that he said with a ton of anger, "I'm tired of everyone asking me why?" I didn't ask why and I promise that I will not bother you anymore. I'm pretty easy going, but will make it a point to never try to bring our party of four to this restaurant, ever.

Today I joined my friend who arrived a Besos several minutes before me ... she was waiting to be acknowledged and seated and had picked up a menu to read while waiting. When I arrived she let me know she'd been waiting several minutes and they must be busy ... and handed me another menu to look at while we waited. The host finally arrived and "demanded" we put our two menus back in the holding space. He took two new ones (same menus) to escort us to a table ... if felt rude. My friend asked him why there was a problem with our looking at the menus and let him know that his behavior felt rude or uncomfortable. He stated that the sign at the front clearly stated we must wait to be seated and served, and it was his job to provide us with menus and we shouldn't have taken a copy to look at while we were waiting. He then asked my lunch companion, "Are you SURE we can accommodate you today?" My friend assured him yes, and that she was happy to be there. His demeanor was combative so she stated that she could come to any restaurant she chooses and wanted to be here today; she acknowledged that he could serve anyone he chose. He agreed and asked us to leave ... saying that he didn't wish to serve us. I hadn't said a word ... on my way out I commented to him, "Wow, this is the first time I have EVER been asked to leave a restaurant." He responded, "The sign clearly says you must wait to be seated & served." My response, "But we did wait ... " (all we did was look at a couple of copies of the menus that were stacked where we were waiting) ... seriously, that guy needs a couple of days off! I've worked in the service industry ... and I've NEVER ... food was GREAT there the first time I visited, but now I will probably NEVER go back there again out of principle. A service person should NEVER behave that way ... even if the customer is clearly in the wrong (unless they are creating a problem) ... this was clearly unwarranted behavior by obviously an unhappy and stressed staff member. :-( ... Update: Turned out I found out later ... he was likely the manager. I never did go back.

We were attending a concert at Red Rocks and decided to visit downtown Morrison for dinner. The Beso de Arte restaurant was located across the street from a parking lot so we decided to try it. We sat outdoors. The waiter asked us if we wanted an appetizer and we asked for chips, salsa and guacamole. He said "sure". We never got it. My wife ordered a burrito. It had no guacamole in it despite the menu saying it included it. After waiting about 10 minutes to get the waiters attention, we mentioned it to him and we were given a small cup of guacamole and told it was our extra guacamole. For my meal I asked what he would recommend for a Keto diet and he recommended a dish that was full of rice. I would avoid this place at all costs. The table near us had an equally awful service experience.

GREAT Morrison restaurant. Sandwiches (Cuban, etc), soups and apps (homemade guac, artichoke dip are to die for) are especially fantastic. Staff are great. Easy parking in front, typically. Great garden terrace and fountain for al fresco dining. When you don't want a burger (which comprises most other menus in Morrison), this must be your spot. Prices are comparable to other surrounding places, but the selection and quality far surpass their competition.

My girlfriend and I stopped to see a couple shops and were not planning to eat, but we walked by this restaurant and thought it looked so great. The atmosphere was great and so relaxed. We ordered the chicken quesadilla and the crab empanada. We thought while the quesadilla was unexpectedly spicy, it was still fantastic with great flavor and taste. The crab empanada was good, but the only issue was the crab was plain, no flavor to it. Even with that small disappointment if we come back from Minnesota this would be a place we would look to come back to.

I've been meaning to write this review forever. My wife and I got married in February, and Les was kind enough to allow us to hold a small reception at Beso. The manage on duty, Ryan, and the rest of the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. The food was fantastic, and the wine choices were spot on. I couldn't have asked for a better day.

Food was incredible. Drinks were alright.
Garlic Asiago dip was SO tasty.
The molcajete red pork was great. Will go back just for that.
Drinks were good but not great. We had the pink Cadillac. Decent selection of beer.

Our server could have been better, but the rest of the staff was flying around and working hard.
Amazing atmosphere compared to other local restaurants. Upscale but very relaxed and comfortable.

Location is amazing. Food is amazing. Props to chef. The servers are...not. They ruin my experience here every* time. I ve given this place multiple chances because of the location. I m an easy person to please. But if I m dining at a restaurant I don t want my server to make me feel almost afraid to ask for something. To make me feel bad for taking their time, when I am literally paying good money for it. To snap on me over a simple request when I m being extra nice. I mean every time? That s not how I m trying to feel when I m enjoying a meal. As a business owner, the delivery is the most important part.
Plenty of kind, family owned restaurants near the area. Highly recommend any of those.

Sit on the patio if you can! I had super service and delicious chicken enchiladas in blue corn tortillas with spicy black beans on the side. The menu is so varied from tapas to entrees. I plan to go back at every opportunity.

Food was pretty good but the bartender (maybe owner?) was making tons of drinks without a mask on. If that is what is happening in front of customers, I don't want to know what is happening in the kitchen. BE RESPONSIBLE!

Yum! I ordered the child's enchilada plate, (my friends ordered appetizers) because we were having a midday snack... and the waiter gave me a full entree of enchiladas. I wish he had just told me I couldn't order kids plate... Other than that it was a great experience, with a relaxed atmosphere and DELICIOUS HIGH QUALITY FOOD:)

My husband and I hadn't been here in years as we were disappointed then, so we thought we'd try it again since it's close to home and seems like a cute date spot. Where to begin. We were seated and greeted and ordered soup salad and cocktails. The soup and salad came right out (delicious) and after 15 minutes with no sight of our waiter, we had to ask the busser for out drinks. Turns out there was one waiter for the whole restaurant and what looked like the manager being the hostess and bartender. People started coming in and waiting 10 minutes to be greeted. As the tables started filling, people would get up after a while to grab their own plates and silverwear for their table. Our empanadas came out ($14 app!) dripping in oil. Seemed like they tried to make them before the oil was hot enough. We shared the Paella entree. On the menu, first item listed was tilapia. The dish didn't have tilapia so we asked the waiter and he said, "There isn't tilapia in Paella." ($24 no tilapia?) We asked the manager and she said "yes there is" When I told her that her waiter said different, she said "it's a desperate night with our waiter" and I told her there wasn't tilapia in our dish and she ignored us. We waited 20 min for our bill with no sign of anyone. So I left a check for what we guessed would be the total and walked out. The manager had the nerve to call our house at 9:30 at night telling us they don't accept checks. We were doing HER a favor. She goes as far to say "THERE ISN'T ONE RESTAURANT AROUND THAT TAKES CHECKS!". Nice. I've been to plenty. My favorite one ONLY accepts checks/cash actually. We're not ones to make a scene at a restaurant when food/service stink but maybe we should have. What a disappointment. Won't be back.

This place is fantastic. The Cubano was made exactly how it should be made, with a soft and flakey roll, quality pickle, stone ground mustard, perfectly cooked carnitas and a thin slice of ham. Service was fast even though they were busy.

Food is mediocre and over-priced at best. Only redeeming factor is outdoor patio seating. Alcohol selection is limited and service is just okay. Our steak was decently cooked, but the seasonal vegetables were raw and the chimichurri sauce tasted like vinegar. This is the second time I have been here and similar experience with another dish. I would not recommend or return.

Very good place to eat in Morrison if not the best spot. Been to allot of the places around town and they are pretty touristsy gross. This place hits the spot on quality and price. Their selection of beer is very good and pretty reasonable for being a touristy town.
