I was there for a rooftop concert, which was great. The only issue we had was our "table" being at the side bar with support beams completely blocking our view of the stage and staff continually busted our chops about standing within 3 feet over to actually see. The drinks were good, as was the food and service.
I arrived post dinner hour at 830 pm or so. Being solo, I was cajoled into sitting at the bar instead of a table. I was slightly put off by the less than friendly host staff. So, I sat at the bar and rethought my food desire, which was originally steak and seafood. I now wanted to order the easiest and quickest gastro grub in order to fix the hunger and get out of there. Bartender started out pleasant until I did not want to leave my credit card in her care, and offered up my desire to pay cash. This also brought a change in attitude and her attention to bring me the soft drink. She chose to flap her gums with a group of her cohorts. So when she returned I had to speak fast to order buffalo tenders and fries. 1st thought I had, wow, rude, in a period where customers are in a shortage. 2nd thought was Dhe ain't getting $h.. for a tip. $19 plus for a soda and tenders on the beach...ok. I left 3 tip as a means to get a little point across. I am and always a good tipper. So the positive was the food came on less than 7 minutes and was palatable. I Do Not recommend if seated at the bar.
We dropped in for a quick bite to eat on a cool and overcast day in late September 2020. My wife said her salad was great. The side of french fries I got was very large. We both find that we like french fries a little crispy and although these fries were dark they were not very crispy. A cup of wine, a salad and french fries came to $30. You are paying for the view when you eat here. Our waitress was attentive and courteous. Nightlife at this establishment was not experienced by this reviewer. A live band was getting set up as we were leaving.

Went Bernie's for Mother's day for a late lunch early dinner with my husband and son. Really was looking forward to their Mahi tacos they have. The waiter we had, don't get me wrong was very nice and a good personality but we clearly weren't his high priority table at that time.
We had waited for our food for a while, at this point there were three other tables around us that sat down after us and had already gotten their food. The waiter was more interested in talking to all the other tables then doing his job. We had asked about our order and the waiter stated to us "I'm sorry I don't know what is taken them so long, I swear I checked and I placed your oreder ". Personally, I believe our waiter forgot to place our order, and placed it after we had asked about it.
Let I remind you we have a one year old and at this point he no longer wanted to sit in the high chair! FINALLY, our food comes out... it was COLD! The plates were hot as if there had been sitting on a warmer for some time but the food was COLD!
It was a very disappointing afternoon. We returned the food and asked for our check. No manager came over, don't even think the waiter told the manager. Granted the waiter took our food off the bill, but bad waiter and poor managing skills on his part.
Don't think we will be going back there for a while. I believe our waiter name was Travis.
Brought my son for his 20th birthday. Ordered the Maui tacos very little fish in the taco mostly lettuce. I had Haddock basket two little pieces of haddock and 2 pounds of fries. My wife had a chicken basket which also had more fries than food.Very expensive would not recommend.
Bernies is a great night club on the weekend nights featuring life music and delicious drinks!
Head on over for some dancing and great views of the water from the upstairs bar!
Bernie's Beach Bar was a great choice to get food! Great wait staff, great atmosphere.
I didn't use the restroom but overall the restaurant was clean.
Good selection of beer and mixed drinks!
A little $$$ but the food is good . Its worth it... our waitress was great. She was she went out of her way not just for us but the rest of her tables too
