This middle school has the lowest test scores out of the whole area, the school smells like alcohol and piss. The kids there graffiti and drink. I don't recommend this place to anyone. If you want a good school with the highest scores in the area go to Pio Pico Middle School.

This school is nice but there is quite a bit of trash. I have good friends there including teachers. I like the events in the school

This is school has a great teachers and a lot of events going on after school or in lunch/nutrition

GRADUATED OUT OF HOOVER STREET IN 1958. WENT TO BERENDO FOR 3 YRS. FOLKS MOVED TO TUSTIN, CA LEFT ALL MY FRIENDS. IM ( LOL) 73 YRS OLD NOW. CAN'T BELIEVE BERENDO IS STILL GOING STRONG. KEEP HER ALIVE KIDS. THIS WAS A GREAT SCHOOL IN ITS DAY. NEIGHBORHOOD HAS GREATLY CHANGED..

I like watching the fights they're epic. I am the coolest kid there I promise you. This school educates me well but this school sucks. Some staff suck and the bullies there are incredible. This school needs more cleaning. I made cool friends there though.

Graduated class of '06. It was an understandably not super ean school because it was full of preteens and there was the occasional fight and some of the teachers were really grumpy and my last year the phys ed. teacher was a custodian (Mr.Parness). But for the most part, Berendo was great. Great friends, all sorts of people, teachers become friends, really care about you, counselors did their job, everyone staff and students had a s3ns3 of humor, classes weren't over crowded, learning was easy and sometimes fun, some teachers gave great prizes to work hard for. And as and bonus, I was in the woodcraft rangers. If you're shy or have have a prolem making friends, this is a great place to do it. They have all kinds of clubs, computer, photography, clay sculpt one, guitar, they had sports and a marching band idk if they still do though. They had dances and a student store to buy what changed into healthy snacks and drinks where some students worked. They had music, dance, computer and art classes as an ellective. And andlso the staff was fri3ndly. There was Saturday school (don't be a cartoon character) and an awesome jingle before every announcement during homeroom. That i remember to this day. Also, some of the teachers still remember my name when we bump into eachother every now and again :)

I never attended this school but living across the street from it taught me everything I know about escape and evasion. I joined the Air Force and the training I got from my experience in avoiding the students of this school benefited me in the Air Force.

The school's kids arent well educated. When i pass by kids i mostly here them cussing or drawing on the walls or tables. I also see to many bullies.
