If you have any kind of disability with walking or if you are over 5'7" you will have to go for the higher priced orchestra level seats. There is no elevator to the balcony and the legroom in the balcony is completely paralyzing. If you don't have mobility trouble before you sit in the balcony, you will when you get up to leave. On a performance level the building has good acoustics.

I have never been to your theater, or plan to go ever again I was at a show on Saturday May 4th, at 7p.m. The show was called Oh What A Night Of Doo Whop & Rock and Roll. The producer of the show was LAR Entertainment. Owned by Rob Albanese and his wife. I had a platinum seat in the 2nd row on the left. I watched the whole show with no problem. I was just wandering why I didn't see Rob. He usually comes on stage. I saw his wife Laura and said hello to her. After the show there is a meet and greet so I stood in the line with everyone else. Within 2 minutes a black security guard in uniform [ I'm saying black because I don't know if you have white guards] comes over to me and says I can't be in line and have to leave. We all thought it was a joke. I knew many of the people around me from other shows. This was no Joke. The guard in a uniform said The Management wants you to leave, I said I've never been here how would they know me. The guard said someone pointed you out. I said why and he didn't answer. Everyone was still in the theater and he walked behind me to the door. I am in my 70's and was parked 2 blocks away. It was very dark and raining and I was alone. Everyone one line saw this happen. How can you treat a paying customer like that. I wouldn't but a dog out in the rain. I called the theater and asked to speak to the Manager, the woman who answered said tell me what this is all about and I did. Does this happen often, she didn't seem that surprised. she said I'm sorry and that was the end off our phone call. I live almost 4 hours away and had to drive home in the rain shaking and crying and couldn't calm down. I was asked to leave your theater with not telling me why, and I don't know why till this day. There was another guard watching this whole thing, he had a tan cable knit sweater on and said you better leave. So I know they were working together. Getting back to Rob Albanese. He has done this before at other events. He was hiding. He has some kind of vendetta against me and I'm sure it was his idea. But these were your guards, they work for you. He books a lot of shows at your theater, I know how ruthless a person he is and two of the performers knew this was going to happen because I got the cold shoulder from them. I never heard from you, nothing for the way this was handled. It could have been your wife or daughter, what would you do. Never would I go there again. I hope these guards are fired, this is a horrible way to treat people.

I love this place to watch Jerry Rivera perform his hits. His voice was so clear that you'd swear he's singing on your aisle. Great sound , great drinks easy to get to. Plenty of parking. Best place for a concert.

Watched stand up comedian Bill Burr here. Non stop laughs thanks to him. The venue's parking can be a bit confusing. But if you read the signs and get there early you can get free parking about a 10 second walk from the entrance lol. Pretty theater, ushers got us in quickly.

Such a jewel for Bergen county. More and more popular performances have chosen to visit here. Large selection of kids-friendly shows too. Highly recommended to check it out regularly for upcoming shows. If you buy tickets at the office, there is no processing fee.

Nice small venue with easy street parking and eats nearby. The seats remind me of flying coach though. Too narrow and tightly spaced. Definitely not original to this historic theatre.

I was here a couple months back to see a queen impersonator(Freddie mercury) hey this was a pretty good job,I was pleasantly surprised being Im a harsh critic of people who try, also Bergen pac itself is an older place, but I liked it,it was very clean ,didn't smell and all of the workers from the bar ,concessions and the guards were all very nice,if I get a chance to go back,it's a definite,I really enjoyed it,the whole area is nice if you want to get there early to go eat, shop and enjoy the show

I will say that this place would be a five star rating for its shows, prices, and reasonable drink prices. But I've witnessed one security guard 3 times ( once with myself) being absolutely nasty to patrons. The last time while checking handbags at the door a woman asked if he was okay because he was being so nasty. He replied I hate this place and don't want to be here. His job is to contain people to their seats out of the isles during concerts. Instead of politely saying you need to clear the isle and get back to your seat he comes up and barks " get back in your seat". If you go there sit to the right of the stage that guard is much nicer and respects the fact that you are the customer. He also will get you back in your seat but not with intimidation....

Attended brian McKnight concert on 2/13/20. One of the best things about this center is the PARKING! Its amazing, street parking all over with a lot of spots. We got parking about 3min walk. Even if u have to walk 10mins that is great compared to Madison sqaure garden. The seating was comfortable, a tad small. I was on the 1st level on the left side and was able to see him clearly. There is alcohol and small snack service at high prices. Helpful employees to find your seating. There is bathrooms on the left side for men and right side for women. I had an enjoyable experience here.

Great venue. Saw Herbie Hancock there, and the sound was great. Was on the far right of the theater, but still had an excellent view of the stage.

One note: Google says they have onsite parking, but it is valet parking. If you want to save some money, check out the municipal parking deck on South Dean. It is an easy walk from the venue. The venue website mentions it and other parking options.

Great small intimate venue, plenty of free parking right across the street ive seen 2 shows here definitely will be back again, easy to get to, some staff could be a little friendlier, rushing people out immediately after the show.

Wife & I visited for a concert. Great acoustics and not a bad view from any seat however the seats are not friendly for tall people. Spent the last half of the concert standing in the back because my knees were hitting the back of the seat in front of me

BUYER BEWARE: I purchased tickets for a show at the Bergen Performing Arts center for December 13th. The Bergen PAC center cancelled the show. The ticket center I purchased the tickets through will not refund my $300 because the venue is saying it is not cancelled and MAYBE rescheduled in the Spring. As of today (2 months later) there is no word. To make matters worse this was a Christmas show.

Bergen Performing Arts Center has cost a lot of people money. I guess they think we should wait until next Christmas in hopes of a show. Just plain NOT right!!!!

Be willing to lose money because they will not back you!!!

The Bergen PAC is an intimate theater with two levels of seating. We secured seats in the third row of the mezzanine and our view of the stage was perfect. Parking is very easily accessible. While there are concessions are each level, offering cocktails an, there is only one set of restrooms on the first floor, which can lead to long lines. The theater was surprisingly warm on an evening in March and would have greatly benefitted from some air ventilation.

This place is a terrible, unorganized mess. Dirty old run down. The staff is rude and unpleasant , the ushers are poorly trained and have trouble finding the seats . My son and I went to see a dinosaur show and the usher put us in the wrong seats . The user was rude and condensending and demanded we move . When I spoke to the manger she was just as rude and ignorant with no sort of apology or remorse regarding our situation . I will never attend an event here again!

Went a few times, each visit was great. It's a smaller theater and that makes it better because you always have a pretty good view. Only thing is i wish every had a better concession stand! But the atmosphere is clean and friendly.
