Bensalem Township Police Department Reviews

Handcuffs were a little too tight when they put them on, also no cushions in the back of the patrol car, very rude officers who did not want to play tag when i ran away, overall poor experience and prefer different municipalities.

Came to the police to file a report regarding someone making fraud with my bank check. Police officer did everything in 5 minutes - filing a report, getting info from me and asking all my questions, very very professional and impressive, police officer sounded very experienced, although the case was about bank fraud not a regular criminal case. I wasn't sure if the case will have a successful results, but today (after few months) i got all money i lost back on my account, i didn't even expect it! Thank you guys!
If Bensalem Police officers work on small , important cases (like mine) with such effectiveness, i can be sure that bigger cases get even more attention!

Just left Bensalem police...was in texas as my only daugjter had a baby !!!anyway came home to my car door smashed ..know who done it they admitted it ..and ignored now I know why...Bensalem tild me cause I wasnt here they cant force her to give insurance..RUDE OFFICER HOWARD told me if I dont UNDERSTAND conversation is over and walked away...thank god it wasnt his car..CAUSE he would be ok with knowing who did it admitted to it..Lol..Wasnt his car no wonder why there rating is 2.7..most disrespectful..UN THOUGHTFUL AND TO BUSY TO TALK TO SOMEONE THAT PAYS THEIR TAXES ..DONATES ..WHATEVER WORST POLICE DEPARTMENT IVE EVER COME ACROSS.....WAY TO HELP TY TY..thank god she didnt kill ur child and u werent here ..they cant force here to give INSURANCE..should be so ashamed !!!

I just want to state that there are multiple times that I've dealt with these people and they haven't been so nice but recently I've seen them do nothing but nice things like today I was driving and I seen a cop drop a young black male off at a gas station just to be kind my guess was that he was in need they shook hands add a hug and went about their day

Corruption at its finest, waste of tax payer dollars, i went to turn myself in for a ticket that was lonnng over due, the judge put me on video screen, let me go right there, soon as i leave the whole complex they wanna send 4 cars squealing out to get me cause of a warrant that magically popped up 2 mins prior, go to see the judge and she has no record, they just wanted me back in to collect more tax payer money, they are seriously rude, have no recollection for anything wrong doing they do, which is 95% of the time.

The Bensalem Police Department is great, but I had called the non emergency line and the dispatcher almost seemed annoyed and was giving so much attitude when all I wanted her to do was check on an ill man with medical equipment that required power , and his power was out. She basically told me to call Peco because I didn't know the mans specific address and it's a large complex and cops can't be knocking door to door. It was literally a joke.

Every time I seen an officer out in public they have been the utmost respectful, courteous and amazing people. I love this townships police department and i am grateful to have moved into a community with such a phenomenal police force.

Bensalem police are the biggest joke ever. Walking around with your hand on your gun because your trigger happy wanting to shoot everything that moves. Worst drivers. All you guys do is harass everyone. I respect police, but I'll never respect bensalem police.

As our police officers say we know about it but don't do anything about it. Waste of tax payers dollars and the 1% wage tax, 1% monthly casino host fee, verizon's and comcast franchise fees,bensalem impact fee and the tree fund. It's time for change like Camden NJ. Fire them, get rid of pensions, Cadillac plan healthcare and the union. It worked in Camden and the police officers there do there jobs and enjoy working with the public. They are worth every penny the taxpayer pays in NJ. This might be a good lesson for bensalem to learn. Do you think????. By the way could you please stop touching your gun out in public. Are you obsessed with it?.

I want to say that I had to deal with the Bensalem Police department. They were so helpful. I want to say that my prayer group, has been praying for the protection of the Bensalem, and police in thesurrounding area. Thank you for your service to the community. God BLESS!!!

The first time i got arrested for pulling out trump signs and the guy was ok i guess but just a lil bit annoying. Then the second time i got arrested for assault and the guys were very nice 10/10. But one time this girl officer with blonde hair came to my house bc of a call and i dont like her at all. pretty damn rude and mean for no reason. Most of you guys are rude but what do you expect from police officers but this girl is the worst one. She even threatend to arrest me for something she couldnt have arrested me for. Abuse of damn power ,woman. she told me to stay in my room for the rest of the night like she was my damn mom and was grounding me.

I am a black male who was trying to help out a woman who was having a baby when a police officer drove beside me and turned his lights on to say he pulled me over cause he could not see my reg sticker he then began to threaten me about giving me a ticket cause my window are tint and threatened to arrest me cause I could not find my car paper work fast enough for him...I have plead not guilty to the ticket and went to court only for the police officer not to show up....

The problem I have is I seen a issue near my home were to men was about to kill each other and no cops came but a guy who is helping a women who is 7month pregnant get picked on for no reason why????? I have spoken to a lot of color ppl in this area only for them to say that this police office has problem with color ppl

The worst racist police department.

One of my client child was physically abused by an adult baby sitter in that town. But my client waited for a few days to conduct his/her own investigation before calling the police. And after a couple of days of observing the child who kept repeating the abusing incident over and over again.
My clients decided that it was time to get the police involved. And when one officer got there, he asked the child what happened and the small child told the police the exact same thing about being physically hurt by the baby sitter. But the police didn't want to press charges against the adult who hurt the child because there was not "enough evidence". So what is "not enough" evidence when an adult assaulted a toddler? Kids can't make this stuff up and would not remember it the exact same way it happened.

After the parents took the child to the doctor and explained what had happened. The doctor responded in his own words stated that, if the child was of Caucasian decent and the Caucasian mother called the police on someone for assaulting her kids, the outcome would have been way different. Which means the Bensalem police would've arrested the perpetrator in a heartbeat. And this was coming from a Caucasian doctor.

So the racist bensalem police failed to protect a child because of race and bigotry!

I gotta say the Bensalem Police Department always been fair with me. Respect begets Respect and we have that for each other. Other than a few minor traffic tickets bensalem been doing a good job. They don't over police. I think they are doing it the best so far especially compared to Philadelphia. Lots of problems there...lol

Some of the worst cops in the world their a joke they laughed in my face when i asked questions to speak to the officer on scene of the accident.the officer told the loser behind the desk he doesnt care enough to come speak to me what jokes

My dog just snuck out of our house and darted all
the way across the 6 acre property to the busy Richlieu road. By the time I caught up to her a officer had stopped traffic and was holding my
Un- injured dog in his arms and was nothing but kind to us about the incident. We are very grateful he was there and was so polite and gracious. I forgot his name in all the commotion, but if you read this thank you!
