I stopped by the factory last week and picked up some wedges. Extremely happy with the quality. They have great workability around the green. Colin was a pleasure to deal with. Hopefully I'll get my hands on a set of the black irons soon. Glad to see the Ben Hogan brand back with high quality. Keep up the good work!!!
I did a demo of of the Ft Worth... Really liked it, decided to buy a set. I have a gift card for $500. They cannot (or refuse to problem solve) break your transaction into two payments. Since the irons cost more than $500, the card cannot be used because the remainder would need to be paid with a separate form of payment. If they can't figure this out to do a $700 piece of new business, what will happen if I have an issue post purchase?
I am super bummed.. I was looking forward to getting a set of these clubs.

Best irons I have ever played, others may say lacking tech but if you take notice you can see other manufacturers starting to copy the intent of the progressive design, redistribution of weight and v sole, naming them something else.
Awesome concept, great clubs, and for a pretty good price! Especially the irons. Only wish there was an app to access the online store.

I've owned the first gen ptx irons and now the ptx pro. These are the softest clubs I've ever hit in this category. I hit them against TM's p790 and p770 and its not even close. They were very clicky. Also had a minor issue and it was taken care of very quickly and professionally by the ben hogan team.
The current price of premium golf clubs in retail stores is outrageous. The Ben Hogan direct to consumer business model is absolutely perfect! The price for these beautiful (custom made to my spec) irons was a steal. I'll be back for a driver and some wedges!
