My husband and I had a great visit; however, there are a few places in the gardens that need some maintenance. I realize this place is old & we are still recovering from the covid-19 shutdown, but there are a few places that need serious upgrading. Do not let that deter you from visiting this exquisite historic attraction. There is a wonderful story about this place that needs to be told.
Very nice place! There were beautiful scenic views, blooming plant's, and paths for strolling. The tour of the house was amazing. There was so much to see and the Tour Guide was a wealth of information. I went to see the Mums and Fall plants. I will Definitely will go back for Christmas and Spring decorations.
The most amazing garden to visit and walk thru! So beautiful and captivating. We walked the gardens and toured the house for more than 6 hours.
I should have took pictures of the inside the house it's breathtaking built in 1936 all the bedrooms have walked in closets and on sweet bathrooms it is just amazing the house and the gardens were just fabulous it's worth the 40 bucks for it takes for two people to go
Beautiful no matter what season you visit. Not overly priced on admission, and the gift shop had an abundance of souvenirs that were affordable . Our children really enjoyed it! As a side note, our oldest son proposed to his girlfriend here!! She said yes!!
Our trip was a Saucier Christian Fellowship ladies group outing. It was perfect! A great time was had by all!!
Best and most beautiful place ever. Had a great time and it was very romantic. There's so many beautiful flowers there and a lot of room so it's never too crowded and safe from coronavirus.
Peaceful gardens to get some quiet time. You'll enjoy what feels like stepping into another world here and will not want to leave. Very relaxing.
Perfect weather 72! Blooms every where! Bunny was out along with some friendly squirrels! Turtle was sunning.
All and all just a beautiful, serene place. Smells so good too! Definitely a good day trip!
The flowers were so beautiful n at their peak!! Went on March 27. The water fountains and pools as well as the Oriental gardens could use a bit more upkeep personally but my visit was still worth it and I would highly recommend going during blooming seasons!
