This Doctor s office let me down when I needed the most.
Normally I see Chrissy and she s awesome! My troubles started when I had an issue with my hypothyroidism and Chrissy was out of the office. I went in for an appointment on Tuesday August 14th with Carmen. I felt that my thyroid was low, I was having a hard time staying awake at work, my thinking was so slow I was having a hard time functioning at work, and I was freezing cold. Carmen spent about 3 minutes in the room with me and stated that he needed my thyroid test first to do anything and to give him 2 days for the test to come back (Thursday August 16th).

I braced myself for having to go another 2 days struggling desperately through work. By Thursday (August 16th) I was miserable and a deep depression had started to set in, I could not function at work, I was freezing cold, and my skin started to itch. I had to leave work because I was almost in tears 3 times before 9:30am. By the afternoon I hadn t hear back so I called the office and left a voice mail explaining how much I was struggling. The voice mail stated they return calls in 24 hours. 24 hours later I had still not received a call so I called again Friday late afternoon and was told the Carmen was out of the office that day. I was desperate and I asked if anyone else could review and they did get another Dr to look at my file. However, she was suggesting a decrease in medication and I was requesting an increase. I told the nurse that I was really worried about decreasing based on my symptoms and she said she would have Carmen look at it as well and contact me back. I reiterated to the nurse how much I was struggling and that now I was feeling extremely depressed.

Monday August 20th (6 days after my initial visit) came and went and I STILL hadn t heard from Carmen. If they did want me to decrease medication there was no direction given on how much and no new script called in.
I was incredibly desperate, in a deep black hole of depression, every step was like walking through mud, my thinking was so slow I couldn t function, and had been missing work since Thursday August 16th. I ended up missing so much work that I had to cancel my summer vacation and I will send my family on vacation next week without me.

I decided I was done trusting something so important to an office that seemed to have lost track of me even after I told them 3 times how much I was suffering. So I hit up Google reviews looking for a Doctor s office that I could trust. The office I chose had a reviewer state that she had never waited more than 24 hours for a call back that s the office for me. As of today, August 24th (10 days after my appointment) I still have not heard back from Carmen.

UPDATE: A couple of hours after I left this review the office finally called me back. By then it was too late I'd already seen a new Dr and had resolution to my issue through the new Dr office.
I received a bill March 2019 for services provided August 14th, 2018 - 7 months later. I wrote a letter asking that the $100 that I owe be voided because of all of the issue I had. This Dr Office refused. So today I get to send them $100 for not helping me. $100 is a LOT of money.

Place is a dump. Staff is rude and billing deparment is inept. Cost me $400 that could have been paid on my FSA card at the end of the year, because of a "glitch" Other than that, Highly recommend!

Have always made monthly payments until bill paid ...

Have always made monthly payments until bill paid in full. Initial bill for services in Sept. received, sent payment, then no monthly statements sent again. Called and asked about billing and was told to "wait for statement to arrive". Never received another statement. Instead, turned over for collections. Why aren't statements being sent? Will pay bill to collections and NEVER again will my family return to this facility. We have been long term patients for over 20 years. Nice way to treat people who pay their bills Bellevue Family Practice!

Dr. Biskup and nurse Emma are phenomenal!! Front desk and billing, are less than desirable. Nothing better than getting dirty looks from the receptionist. Unprofessional and will never return. Will be finding a doctors office that isn't so money hungry and rude!!!!

Excellent support staff! PA Emma Edwards is professional and courteous. Rest assured, solutions are found. Otherwise, I would not be going out of my way to write this! Lol! Highly recommend.

Honestly as a family we love Carmen! If only he worked for a different practice. In the process of switching providers because as a whole their office staff is terrible! They fail to call with results in a timely fashion, rude and definitely do NOT put the patient first! The only thing good I can say is they follow HIPPA..... but I think that was more so because I called very upset about their failure to contact my husband with his results. I didn't call asking for results I called to speak with the manager for their lack of communication and instead of addressing that she used the HIPPA rule to state she could not discuss his results with me!! I also am a nurse so I do know a thing or two about patient satisfaction and a good bedside manner and they are lacking!!!!! Only getting two stars because of Carmen otherwise they would get ZERO!

The front desk people are so rude and the nurses never call back. I recently got pregnant and called for referrals, no one ever called me back with referrals like promised. Will never come here again.

Phone system and front staff will either hang up on you or drop you to voice mail if you stay on hold to talk to a receptionist. Phone lines will sometimes be left off during business hours. Calls are not returned when messages are left. Front staff will often take lunch at same time instead of staggering into shifts to accommodate patients. Frequent billing and computer mistakes. Doctors and nurses on staff are decent but you need to pick and chose which doctor you see since, without naming names,there are a few poor ones. Basically all the bad parts of a major medical center with none of the good and none of good parts of a family practice with all of the bad. Not a place I would recommend nor trust with my health.

Front Desk staff is rude. Billing is a joke. You pay copay's and are required to do so at time of service, and then they attempt to charge you again. Do not recommend this establishment at all. Constant billing issues due to lack of accurate data entry. Bellevue Family Practice lost six patients for this continuous and egregious "service".

Love my doctor Emma Edwards so much! Very helpful and calming. Front desk staff is nothing but rude and unhelpful. Phone lines often disconnected, and never calls back like promised. Care from Emma is outstanding, just wish that the front desk staff was even bare minimum of decent.

Usually LOVE this office, Carmen is amazing but his nurses have been slacking. He was need me to start a medication last week, I have now called 2x in regards to the medication being called in so I can pick up. And the front desk tells me my message "hasn't been answered" by the nurses
