Bellagio Restaurant Review

Best... Salmon... Ever... A quiet, secluded, picturesque gem in the heart of busy Illovo, thanks to its hedged, secure parking, Itallian styling and tasteful signage. Ambience 10/10, service 10/10, decor 10/10 (though strange choice of paintings), music 10/10 and food 20/10. Our only nitpick was it was a little on the pricey side. We'd pay happily pay it again, but maybe only in a couple months.

Highly highly recommend the salmon (any of them) and the chocolate fondante. We brought our own wine - corkage was R100 for 2 bottles, as their wine list was highly inflated, albeit extensive.

I've always loved this restaurant but hadn't been there for a couple if years. I decided to go there with my husband for our anniversary dinner. There was a mix up with our table but we came to a reasonable compromise. The food was delicious from starters to dessert. They even gave us a complimentary dessert. Austin's service was top notch . I dont know why I had stayed away for so long but I'll definitely be back soon. Highly recommend this place if you enjoy a high quality slow dining experience. Book in advance if you want to get a table over the weekend.

Food and service was good but atmosphere could.be better

It is always shocking when an establishment is not proactive in protecting its patrons or call the police when they are being assaulted within the vicinity. Come on, Bellagio! I expect you will give every assistance to the police to ensure your loyal patron receives justice.

5 star. All our meals were superb. I had the 3 cheese souffle and fish pie and my husband had the chicken livers with cream and cognac and prawn stir fry. Lovely outdoor setting

Enjoyed another superb meal at Bellagio! The Risotto Verde is the best I've had outside of Italy! Couldn't resist the Honeycomb ice cream for dessert!

Beautiful, relaxed atmosphere fine dining at its best. Excellent menu, good food, awesome presentation, delicious cuisine. Wow the deserts magnificent. Excellent service

The starters and mains were incredibly delicious... let's not forget dessert...We ordered a few, my best was the baked cheesecake, lemon tart and honeycomb ice- cream. The cherry on top...great service
