We had an amazing visit! Marla (& Fabrizio) fed us fabulous gluten-free & dairy-free (safe) meals. They pointed us toward fabulous local sights & (safe) foodie delights. We dream of returning often !

My entire family loved staying at Bella Baita! Such a cool place. The lodging was perfect - so clean and well maintained as was the entire property. It's location in the mountains was both quiet and so beautiful. But most of all both the owners of Belle Baita were so welcoming, friendly, informative and helpful! As a family of 5 (2 Adults, 3 kids - 16, 11 & 9), we took two cooking classes. They were fantastic! Our goal was to learn the beginning steps of preparing dough for breads, pasta and pizza. Marla provided us with a solid foundation to continue our quest in becoming dough masters.
Frabrizio took us on a great tour of his mountain garden and the kids had a great time picking
in-season raspberries, blueberries, and fresh lettuce, which we used in our meals that night. So delicious. Plus he taught how to cook the perfect chicken dish that we can't wait to prepare for friends and family.
We love the outdoors and eating so Bella Baita was the perfect retreat for us on our 3 week tour of the Alps.
Bella Baita is a wonderful B&B, surrounded by nature, with a wonderful view!
The food and wine to taste there is absolutely natural, far less than zero km :), very good!
... But what makes this place special is Fabrizio and Marla, the couple who run it. People genuine, energetic, experienced and attentive to the needs of those who go there to rest or to visit the Chisone.
We recommend the cooking course conducted by them!

I visited the Piemonte region of Italy with my mother and brother in June 2019, and as part of the itinerary we stayed for a night at Bella Baita in order to take a cooking class. The experience we had staying with Marla (from IL/CO so speaks perfect English) and Fabrizio (also speaks English well with some Italian flair thrown in) was one of the many standout moments from this trip. Marla and Fabrizio were exceptionally warm and inviting, each accomplished chefs with a rich and interesting history in the food industry and champions of the slow food movement. They taught us how to make our own handmade/hand-rolled pasta, showed us several tips/tricks around the kitchen, and Fabrizio even gave us a little walking tour of their garden down the road to see where many of the ingredients for our dinner came from. It was inspiring, and we left feeling like we had just left extended members of our family. If driving yourself up the mountain, be sure to have a cautious driver as some of the turns on the way up get a little tight/blind and can be tricky if driving stick and you are not a good with a manual transmission. I believe they will pick you from the town at the bottom of the hill as well if need be. Well worth the visit and we are so thankful for the experience. We will cherish it always. Moreover if you are considering a trip to the Piemonte region, just go ahead and book it. You will not regret it.

I volunteered at bella baita for two weeks and was able to get a good impression of their service, rooms and the atmosphere.
I can definitely recommend this place to anyone. The food is amazing, the rooms are clean and well furnished and the landscape is just stunning. Marla and fabrizio are two wonderful hosts! You won't miss anything staying at bella baita.
There are great hiking path around the house. The entire Valley is worth visiting.

What a wonderful place in the middle of the Italian Alps !!
Marla and Fabrizio were ideal hosts! They welcomed us as if we were their own family. In addition to preparing a delicious and super varied breakfast, they gave us a cooking class learning how to cook various Italian specialties. Dinner was delicious and super filling. They have a guitar for their guests (which of course Patricia played) and another of our daughters settled in the living room to study so comfortable! We took a tour of his orchard with all kinds of explanations ... super interesting!
The rooms are mountain style, very typical and spotlessly clean!
It is a super cozy place, where you can go alone, as a couple, with family or friends ... very nice.
They can be contacted directly ... much better for any organization!
Marla and Fabrizio are lovers of nature and minimize its environmental impact ... they are adorable and we have learned a lot !!

I am now 2 years that with friends we go to this structure, Beautiful experience at beautiful hut .... spectacular setting, not to mention marla and fabrizio the owners ..... make you feel really at home ... go find them and leave us a piece of you.
In a wonderful context of natural and uncontaminated landscape, the BELLA BAITA B&B respects the nature that surrounds it. Fantastic welcome from Fabrizio, the owner. Recommended if you want to find peace and relaxation.
Beautiful mountain b & b, great food and direct from the garden. The hosts are a lovely couple who greets us as part of the family. Hiking and the lush nature of the area are literally on the doorstep.
It is a jewel of structure, I had the pleasure of spending a night here. The atmosphere that is created is family. As Fabrizio says, "I don't deliver the keys and that's enough" but it does create a welcoming and fun environment. They are people who put love in what they do and see! Breakfast is all made that morning, all fresh, intense and good flavors. As soon as you enter they invite you to eat as if they were your parents / grandparents and care about everything in detail. Exceptional wine, good grappa, stellar dessert. We will definitely be back! A place with so much potential.

The area is beautiful, the hiking options are fantastic. If you're looking for somewhere remote and quiet, this is it.
The only problem you have to be aware of is the travel time it takes to get there. Going from Turin you have to get a train down to Pinerolo then grab a bus up to Pinasca. That will get you to the bottom of the mountain. If you let them know ahead of time, they can pick you up at the bottom of the mountain and drive you up. It's a long hike up, but its nice. Read the directions on their website.
Fantastic location in the woods on the mountain above Pinasca. Very quiet, possible walks and excursions. Ample parking.
