Belfort furniture Review

We ordered a dining room table/chairs and a kitchen bistro table. The dining room table/chairs look fabulous and the quality is great. We had an issue with the bistro table. However, the customer service department was professional is taking care of the problem. Thank you Lee for great customer service.

Great veriety of options, Gil Colwell, our sales person, was extraordinary very patience, professional, and dedicated. Gil has a very good taste and gave us recomendations on how combine our furniture. Kudos for Gil. The place is big and you can find there anything you need basically you do not need to go other place.

It is a little further to get to for me, but incredibly worth it. They have a large selection and their prices are far better than anywhere around. You can find quality up to and beyond trendy furniture stores at lower costs for sure. Staff are also incredibly nice and do not hound you as you walk around. Delivery was very convenient and communication was excellent throughout.

Belfort has lost the ability to service customers after purchase. Unfortunately the strong reputation for service and quality has gone out the window with Belfort. My wife and I are nearing the end of a year long home renovation including the purchase of all new furniture. We purchased nearly all the furniture from, Belfort because we had purchased random pieces over the years and our personal experience along with that of friends and family had always been great.... until.. so, recently, we purchased several pieces... living rooms sets, china cabinets, sofa for the family room etc etc... we even went so far as to purchase the "extra" furniture protection. Unfortunately the last two items delivered were damaged. The family room sofa was torn on the corner during delivery, its a small tear but will become an issue over time if not fixed. Admittedly the sofa is a very heavy item and the delivery guys struggled mightily but it is what it is, I shouldn't end up with damaged furniture because of this.. and if I do, Belfort should make it right within reason. I called the customer service line, spoke to a gentleman who told me the entire email, voicemail, and "customer communication system"?? was down and that he would log my call that an item was damaged during delivery and I'd hear from someone in 72hrs... its been two weeks. In the meantime, the last item we ordered (long before the damaged sofa) was delivered and as luck would have it, that was also damaged. It was a corner cabinet and the doors are uneven and someone had overtightened a screw causing a shelf to crack. I actually waited a day to call about the last item because my initial thought was its a small crack and I can adjust the shelves myself.... unfortunately the hinges don't allow me to adjust the doors and my wife made a point that the cracked shelf may get worse and be an issue later on... so, this time I sent an email to the customer care team, with photos, outlining this issue as well as the previous issue I have never herd back on. Its been another two weeks and nothing... my wife and I are very reasonable and very patient but I decided it was not ok to get no response. I guarantee you that if I walked into their show room today I would be showered with attention by eager salesmen. We should be given the same attention once you have our money. Belfort should be ashamed.... make this issues right please..

My sales rep, Gil, was knowledgeable, kind, respectful, professional, and transparent. The quality of product, service, and pricing levels for our needs was perfect. I will return to Belfort for any furniture needs that arise. I've purchased from other stores (Value City and Ashley) and none compare to the service, quality, low pressure, great pricing, variety that I experienced at Belfort. It was a great experience. Going into a furniture store can feel like a used car dealership or a mattress store with high pressure, never feeling like you are getting the best deal. At Belfort, it is completely transparent, nothing hidden, or price gouging on a service plan. Truly a great experience. I purchased a couch and over-sized chair for our basement and will return for living room furniture. Highly recommend!

I bought a $1500 travertine coffee table and there is a chip on the edge. Called the store and emailed the customer care team on Oct 28th. It has been more than 10 days and I still haven t heard back from them.

Buyer Beware!! Go somewhere else. I bought bedroom furniture from the show room. After about 3 months only the bed, dresser, and chest were available. As soon as the delivery man came to my house, he asked me to look at it. What came was a bright white bed and the dresser and chest were correct, with distressed white bottom and gray top. The bed hardware is silver and the dresser bronze. So it is very obvious these don t match. When I called about the bed replacement I was told I owed extra $240. I called the manager, John. He told me the fine print on the Receipt says Belfort is not responsible for anything!! I was told they could split the cost and I d pay $116. This is all Belfort s fault. The store should not charge extra. This was their mistake. I went to the store and pointed out the matching set I wanted! I I have never been treated with such poor customer service and I had my whole house furnished with them. I am done. There are many other furniture stores. Avoid Belfort!!

If you can't find what you want here, you won't find it anywhere! The delivery and assembly fee was completely reasonable and so much easier than ordering furniture on-line and having it delivered in heavy boxes, dropped on your driveway. When my bed was ready, the assembly guys brought everything, put it all together, showed me the special features AND cleaned up and took everything away (boxes, wrapping, etc.) It's a real advantage to get your furniture locally with this kind of service.
