I came to BWR a broken shell of a person and I am leaving 6 weeks later equipped with the tools necessary to embark on my road to recovery. The staff is amazing, the care and concern they display is really heartfelt. I truly cannot wait to see what the future holds for me in my chapter 2 !!

Different than most residential treatment centers, housing is separate from clinical building. Great program, and availability to go to outside 12 step meetings during the stay. Awesome staff and good flexibility for each person where they will work with you individually.

There are a lot of 2 word phrases that come to mind when I think of this "treatment provider", such as:

1. Patient Enticing
2. Insurance Fraud
3. Patient Impersonation
4. Referral Kickbacks

Just to name a few.

BWR's case management and logistics teams, clinical teams, and therapists are professional, kind, and truly care about the patients they manage. BWR does have a dual-diagnosis approach, though the therapeutic program tends to focus more on addiction treatment. Clinical days contend of 80% group therapy sessions with very minimal one-to-one therapy.

In terms of housing, the house staff and clinical staff are separate. Most of the housing staff are wonderful, though most problems that I've had consist of issues related to the housing component (lack of food/supplies regularly stocked, miscommunication between housing-clinical involving medicine, etc.).

Behavioral Wellness and Recovery is an exceptional program offering support and education in AA, NA, and mental health recovery. The program is structured appropriately in filling each day with a variety of groups and counseling sessions to touch on numerous aspects of not only the general recovery of those identifying as members of AA, NA and the mental health community, but also discuss specifics that are openly advocated for and appreciatively accepted for response. Behavioral Wellness and Recovery has helped me to regain a sense of identity and my feeling of joy in life. Thank you Behavioral Wellness and Recovery for all of the supports and resources that you have provided me in order to prepare me to engage in a successful life outside of the program.

My experience at BWR has been an experience that showed professionalism and where staff and counselors truly do care about their clients and are willing to go out of their way to make sure each client is validated. This is my second trip back to this program. I could have went to any other program, but I chose to come back here because of their help and I would recommend them to anyone who wants to get clean and I thank them very much and I will miss them. But I have confidence now in myself that if I take it one day at a time, I have a good chance of succeeding in my sobriety.
