This place has definite advantages as well as major issues. Shay at the front desk was amazing!
Mixed bag of therapists, techs and other patients provides inconsistent treatment. But it has been helpful. The PHP program is actually amazing.
My caseworker Shante went above and beyond to accommodate and establish a balance of my daily and life-long goals. She and my Baby in family mean the world to me. Thanks for assisting me on taking back control of my life and my dreams, most importantly my overall self. First time in treatment, and I wasn't disappointed. State of the art facility with very friendly staff and techs. I still receive follow up calls from the alumni department to check in on me from time to time which is great. I'm not planning on ever going back to treatment again, but if I did, it would be at BHOP
When I arrived to BHOP I was broken.. The welcoming staff gave me the space to accept where I was, yet did not let me go into any more darkness than where I was. From the front desk staff to nursing, the techs who watch over you to the therapist...My caring Case Manager Shante to the fabulous trainer Trey..They all helped my grow in strength, courage and belief that I may overcome...
There was a little disorganization at times but they seem to be addressing..Good luck to all who choose to change thier life :)
Being in detox is not a pleasant experience, however, when you have someone special like Shante who goes above and beyond to make you feel cared about, it makes the days seem a little less dreadful. For someone to listen, and to give you a smile and offer hope is the most precious gift at a time like this.
Hats off to her, because she s honestly the main reason I stayed. Her graciousness and caring attitude are second to none.
This Rehab for me was God sent. My experience was really great. From my Case Manager Shante that went out and beyond her call of duty to help me in every way she could and all the Techs Leslie, Shorty, Beverly and all the others I forgot their names. My Therapist Iwana helped me tremendously. The food was awsome, the omelette bar was excellent. The whole process of my Detox and my 2 weeks of residency went very smooth. Also the team of nurses were superior. The attention that I got and the compassion I received, made my recovery possible. The whole program how it was designed with the different meetings and therapy and everything thing else you offered me was priceless. I truly believe that because this treatment center, I now have a great chance for my recovery. I'm still getting phone calls asking me how I'm doing. I cannot even truly say how much your Center has helped me.
Shante is awesome! She has helped me develope a plan of attack during treatment to succeed when I leave. She made me feel good about myself and gave me confidence when I needed it and straight talk when I was feeling sorry for myself. She had hope for me when I didn't. Thanks Shante
This place is amazing my insurance was not accepted at first but Shante fought for me to be on scholarship thru all levels of care. I have a 3 month old I m trying to get better for and she has done every thing in her power to help me. Shante truly cares about her clients I ve never been happier
When I first called desperately seeking help the staff was very kind and helpful, I was in tears and under the influence of alcohol. The person I spoke to was listening to me and I felt a feeling of calm. I said I would call her back I fell asleep. Woke up and called her back. The staff helped me with all the arrangements and booked my flight. They picked me up at the airport the staff was kind and considerate his name was Carmen. I arrived at the facility with open arms. I was very nervous but soon had a feeling of calm. Every one at the facility is very kind and helpful. The front end staff are great always with a smile. One of the techs Shorty and another Leslie are so helpful and always has a kind ear along with the rest of the staff. Iowana is my therapist and has helped me also on my journey. My case manager Shante is always available in time of need. All and all if you have a addiction call this place. It's the best.
I went to BHOP in October of 2017. It was not my first time in treatment, but it was a completely different experience then I have ever had. The program they run is awesome, as long as you take it seriously. Going there allowed me to start completely fresh and create a new life in South Florida. The wide range of therapies and groups they offer daily really encompassed everything I needed to work on. It wasn t just all addiction based. They worked on self-esteem, grief and loss, finding your old self and new interests, meditation, mindfulness, why you think you need drugs, and most importantly what you will do when you leave. It was very smart how they move you to PHP level care once you are there for awhile in order to transition and gain more normalcy and responsibility, instead of being surrounded by detox patients when you are 30 days clean. Two different mindsets so the treatment should be different so they excelled at that. Food was great, staff was awesome. I will say that out of everyone there I will never forget Trey the personal trainer. He helped me the most and helped me start my life after leaving. Before I was an addict I led a very active lifestyle and was going to school to become a nutritionist and personal trainer. However, drug addiction caused me to completey neglect my health. I gained weight, never exercised, and hated myself. Because of him I started to believe in myself and begin to love myself again. It was hard at first and I was very sore. He not only helped me physically, but he mentally brought the old me back. He changed my entire life and I am so happy today because of him. Since leaving BHOP I have lost over 30 pounds, kickbox every day, and I am back to the old happy healthy me. My goals of being a nutritionist have returned and now I want to help other addicts just like he helped me. Trey truly set the foundation for me to feel determined and able to meet my physical and mental goals. I don t hate myself looking in the mirror anymore. I can run over 4 miles when just 100 days ago I couldn t run more then a block. BHOP is great and changed my life forever. Best decision I made coming down from NJ. They should NEVER get rid of Trey or that program. I know it is hard in early recovery to workout, but once you do you start to heal that much quicker. He completely changed and saved my life. I am so lucky to have met him. Thank you BHOP and thank you so much Trey. You made a huge difference in my life and allowed me to be the real me again, which I had forgotten for so long.
I came to banyon and didn t know what to expect. I walked through the doors with a open mind & I loved the way everything was set up. They have a really nice pool & seating are to hang out. The groups are SO helpful, they bring in H&I meetings also. The speakers are either AA, NA & they even brought in CA. Brittney was my case manager & she really helped. She helped me with legal issues & my own issues. Amanda was my therapist & gave me my treatment plan which I absolutely loved. She reached her hand out to me & made me realize where the stem of anger, shame & guilt was coming from. The techs all go out of their way to help you also. All the staff is really just amazing. I really thank banyon & their team for helping me stay sober.
I am owed significant money by Behavioral Health, my daughter left treatment early, and as per contract I am entitled to a refund of unused payments. It is significant and it has been eight weeks now. I am concerned about the financial viability of the clinic. I send a full deposit, and the clinic has not sent a refund, or returned calls inquiring as to the refund of unused services.
Shante my case manager was the best case manager I have ever had. She was extremely supportive during my stay here. She assisted with my treatment and aftercare plan and helped me to find a safe and supportive sober living environment for after I leave treatment.
Coming to banyan had changed my life. They have given me three types necessary to be a functional, contributing never of society. The staff was always there when I needed them. They took care of my health. They tended to ask my wounds, Physical and emotional. Robyn was my case manager and I can't say enough about how she stood by my side and guided me through my turmoil. I am forever grateful to her and banyan.
Love you guys but I hope I never see you again, if you get what I mean.

Shante was so helpful when I first came in. Right away she helped me figure out a good plan for me for once I left. She helped me find a great sober house and a great Iop plan and I couldn t be happier with the way she helped me.
BHOPB is one of the oldest and well-respected facilities in South Florida. I would trust them with an immediate loved one or friend. They have helped a lot of folks over the years.
My experience overall was very favorable! IMHO COVAD19 attributed to a large number of patients, and the ability for BHOP to scale / accommodate incoming patients with current staff was strained. I believe BHOP's CORE directive is more than capable of making necessary adjustments, and I pray they do so soon!

BHOP has been an overall great Rehab program. Excellent thearapists, housing, staff is very helpful and they have a awesome daily schedule that includes group and personal therapy, exercise with fitness instruction, pool recreation, therapeutic games. I would highly recommend BHOP for your rehab!

I would give a zero if I could, but please do not send your loved ones here. My husband checked himself in here because it sounded promising and wanted to detox. What they say and what they do are 2 different things.
I spoke with my husband's assigned therapist and asked what kind of medicine they'd be giving to him(I don'tbelieve in putting someone on one drug to get them off another. Complete BS). She "didn't know", but would send me that information in an email. Never happened. They denied him help during an anxiety attack because thethey thought he was lying, until they finally checked his BP which was way too high. They had my husband on all kinds of meds INCLUDING an antidepressant which he clearly stated he did NOT want. They told him it was a sleeping aid and now he has to wean from that. Great. It was Trazodone. They will lie and try to keep your loved ones to milk the insurance. Do your research. Unless you don't care about your loved ones.
I came to BHOP a broken man and they put me back together again. Really caring and good people there. Nice clean facility. Food was awesome. My therapist really had some good insights into my addiction and showed me triggers I didn t even know I had. Definitely the best rehab I have been to. I ve never come out with as much confidence as I did from this place.
For rehab it was good the staff was awesome they all were there whenever I needed something and sometimes things I just wanted real friendly I even came back for iop
BHOP saved my life. From the front desk all the way to the clinical staff in the back, this place is amazing. Shay has such a sunny disposition that I feel so welcome that it feels like home. I d recommend this place to all friends and family. PS. Robyn Singer is my favorite person on the planet. She will go above and beyond for any client.
Shante was an enormous help in directing my discharge and helping me feeling comfortable and at ease through this process. She was very kind and sensitive to my needs. She went above and beyond helping me with aftercare and finding a therapist back home. Thanks so much for all the help!!!

Behavioral health of the Palm Beaches definitely saved my life. They drop me back on track I had three and a half years of sobriety in Lost Focus everything else became more important than my sobriety but with the help from Behavioral Health they put me back on track and I'm sober today thanks to them I definitely recommend anyone to attend this facility they will definitely save your life like they saved mine thank you again behavioral health of the Palm Beaches.
This place is a JOKE. They don t care about you, they only care about your insurance money. The doctors and nurses do not know what they are doing. They gave me a medicine that tore up my stomach to the point where I was throwing up blood, and when I asked to go to the emergency room, they convinced my father and the hospital that I was faking my illness and purposely starving myself, then baker acted me saying I was starving myself and homicidal. The owner is the biggest liar, lying about how wonderful the place is to how a majority of the patient s are satisfied with the care they receive. During my stay, a majority of the patients there were begging to go home because bhop did NOT satisfy their needs. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT GETTING THE GENUINE HELP YOU NEED. THEY CARE MORE ABOUT MONEY THAN THE ACTUAL PATIENT. THE OWNER DOES NOT HAVE A DROP OF COMPASSION OR EMPATHY FOR ANYONE. DO NOT TRUST THEM. ALSO IF YOU DID NOT ALREADY NOTICE, THE OWNER COPIES AND PASTES THE SAME RESPONSE TO EVERY BAD REVIEW, SIMPLY BECAUSE SHE DOES NOT CARE.
One of the absolute worst places I've ever been too. Everything about this place is a complete joke. Especially the clinical staff.
None of these pictures on Google or there website accurately portay what this place it. They make it seem better than it is. So it's actually just a motel that was changed over to a rehab place. Food was good. Counselors and everything online lie to you to get you there then they changed up the rules and everything you might have read online. It might work for some but I just don't trust them because they are full of lies and they put up and HUGE front in what they offer when you read website stuff or look at pictures. Also they just want your insurance money and don't care about you. Also they have a co-ed facility but based on your insurance you might not be able to transfer to there. And that's the only facility near the water. Plus these ass hats would even let me climb a tree to just sit and be peaceful in it.
No place is perfect, For a treatment center I had an eye opening experience. Staff was friendly and professional. Case management and Therapists work well and were definitely here to help in my recovery and setting up a wonderful aftercare plan. Nursing was why I did four stars. They could use improvements in the nursing and clinical departments.

Really awesome place to get clean and sober. The greatest help I had was from my case manager Vanesa.....she looks out for your best interests. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone struggling with addiction!
Great place to start a new beginning. Only complaint would be lack of nursing and getting meds on time or in a timely manner. The food was great! Staff is helpful and friendly!
Both parents went here and both are sober now. Took lots to sink in. All councilors were abusers themselves so they understand what it takes to become sober and stay sober. They are all special individuals and I consider this place a gift to my family.
I have recently completed treatment of 41 days at BHOP the staff was amazing, food was great and clinical team did well to address and meet the needs of my situation. Robyn, my case manager, was amazing, she showed me ample attention and tended to all my needs in a prompt manner. This is not the first treatment center i have been in, and this one was head above heals from previous experience and really helped me get in touch with some of my underlying issues beyond just addiction. i extremely valued the time i spent there and would recommend it to anyone.
Very unprofessional tech staff at canada court, excessive amounts of swearing, and very disorganized. If I were administration, I would most certainly drug test the techs, primarily the lead tech, certain she is on some type of narcotic. I felt sicker upon discharge than i was before admitting.
Staff was phenomenal. Had a great experience. Cant wait to start the next step of my journey

Having to seek inpatient Treatment I spoke to the Admissions Team at Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches. Receiving encouraging news I decided that this place would better suit my needs. I was not disappointed with my decision. From the nursing staff to the therapist and to the nightly meetings, my entire stay was beyond My Expectations. Highly recommend this facility if you are or a loved one is seeking treatment.
This place was absolutely horrendous. My boyfriend attended and had an awful experience. First off, they did not do his intake correctly and he had $300 stolen from him along with his wallet. This issue is still not resolved but they are looking into the matter, however, not by a director or anyone of high authority... they have not been involved once. Second, they never did an orientation or tell him what's expected of him on a daily basis. Of course they'll lie and say they went over the information but we have a paper with the therapist name and room number left blank, so say what you want. Then he did not receive phone time because he "wasn't participating". The therapist left out a very crucial piece of financial information about further treatment, and when it was declined she "flipped a switch" and couldn't be seen for a last one on one session before he left. We both spoke to the case manager only one time each, so communication was very limited. When I went to pick him up we waited 3 hours before he could leave, even though we scheduled a time earlier that day on the phone. There are many many many more examples of lies and communication errors between him, the facility, and myself. He said the whole experience was filled with miscommunication and was very frustrating for him. They give little to no information to the one being treated or their loved ones on the outside. How they have 4 stars I have no idea, I wish I read the reviews further down the list because I agree with all they have said. If I were you I would stay away from this place!!!!
Thank you Bhop! Three years ago I was beaten down by my alcohol addiction and was as low as I could go. Bhop literally saved my life! After spending 42 days in a first class facility I walked out with a reclaimed life!!! I have 3 years sober now and I have the people of Bhop to thank. No one ever gave up on me when I wanted to give up on myself. Thank you for giving me back my life and my family!!!
They made my stay very comfortable. All the staff were kind to me, my case manager and all the people who work there set me up for success after I got out. I'm extremely grateful for BHOPB because otherwise today Idk where I'd be. 16 months sober now! Thank you BHOP
I have nothing but a great experience with BOPB - My daughter went there for treatment, she has been there for 12 days and I have had constant communication with her case worker Shante Slaton. She has been communicating with me every few days on her treatment - Shante has been instrumental in my daughter's recovery. My daughter feels comfortable speaking to her about her issues and her problems. I have nothing but great things to say about Shante and her therapist Amanda as well... During this difficult time it is comforting to have soothing voices to speak to.
I came here with absolutely no hope, I thought I had no hope of getting better. This place not only took me in IMMEDIATELY, but they came and picked me up 4 hours away from the facility just so they could help me. I spent 25 days in this facility and it really rejuvenated me. Megan was my case manager and she went about above and beyond, she is very sympathetic and empathetic to our problems. She really put in the work to help me get into a wonderful aftercare program. She made me feel like me and my sobriety was a priority. In this program you get a personal therapist that you have one on one once a week with but meet with the therapist and a few other group members for an hour a day for process group. My Therapist was Stacy, and for only having an hour a day and a single one on one group a week, she still managed to make me feel important. Stacy was able to work with me for me to find the roots of my substance abuse issues and my codependency problems. I am so grateful for my case manager and my therapist. Thank you Megan and Stacy. I appreciate you both more than words could ever explain. Now about the facility, it is very well taken care of, the food is great and the BHT Techs are absolutely wonderful. My personal favorite was Dustin. He is always there for you to talk too, he is such a genuine person and I really learned a lot from him. Banyan, thank you for everything you have done for me, and for giving me my life back. I know I have a long road ahead, but I was given the tools and the motivation that I never had before. I recommend this place to anyone who is SERIOUS about wanting a better life and is ready to put in the work.
7 years ago I entered BHOPB as a broken man without hope. Through the support and direction I received from them I am living a life today that exceeds my dreams

Sorry for the one star rating, however, there wasn't an option for zero stars! As a family member of one of your most recent clients, I would like to share that you DO NOT offer individualized treatment for the client nor do you even listen to them. You are an assembly line treatment facility and failed to realize that detox and treatment must be administered on an individual level in order to be successful. It would appear your facility is more interested in the money versus helping your clients overcome their addictions. Just curious as to what your overall success rate is, does it even hit the 5% rate? A word of advice for people looking for help, do your research, read the reviews and realize that there are facilities out there that are willing to help you or your family members with successfully completing their addiction treatment. Unfortunately, this establishment is not one of them. This establishment flat out LIED to me about treatment when they called me for payment of my family members insurance deductible in which I was more than happy to pay based on the fact that they were going to individualize his detox and treatment plan. Behavioral Health of The Palm Beaches, Lake Worth Florida, you lied and you failed! My family member left this facility and checked himself into a better facility the very next day!
